The sites were mostly in poor condition compared to other Koa’s, cracked concrete pads, crumbling asphalt, uneven spotty grass, some landscaping is definitely needed. The staff, pool, laundry and bathrooms were all excellent. Considering the price, I expect more and wouldn’t return.

The park was very nice Great Dog areas and trails. Personnel were very helpful and nice. I gave a 4 star because we were only there for one night and our site was so uneven we couldn't come close to leveling it. Other than that it was great. We will stop again but will ask for a more level site

When we check in the host was very helpful. She help us get a site near the restrooms. We walked around and visited all that was available for out door fun. We had a very good visit.

Cable was out and we were told it was coming on and never did. Speed bumps (hills) are to big! No escorts in. Office sent me down the wrong road for my lot. Had to turn around in the park. We had to book and pay in full months ago with no refund! That policy is wrong families do have emergencies and people do get medical emergencies. We won’t be back because of that!

We only stayed 1 night but it was very nice. Campground is neat and clean. We arrived late but check-in was not a problem. Would stay here again, if we're in the area again.

Wife and daughter contracted lice from one of the cabins! Mgmt. was hard to deal with, denied the source, never apologized or checked on the condition of my loved ones. Never once returned my calls when he said he would. Each time I had to initiate contact. Being a business owner I know the fundamental rules, are to treat the customer with compassion and indifference, he did not

We loved our stay at Renfro Valley Holiday! The grounds were well kept, the bathhouse was very clean. The employees were super friendly and helpful. The activities were fun. We would recommend this KOA to our friends and would stay here anytime.

The staff go above and beyond to create an atmosphere that is welcoming and fun for all who want to participate in activities. My family went to the candy bar bingo, movie nights, and a burger grill out. We had a blast! My favorite thing about this location was enjoying a gorgeous view at the end of the day when the sun sets behind the mountains across from the property.

We have stayed at meny KoA’s and was very disappointed that the cabin we were in was first more than I’ve paid anywhere and second had no TV no refrigerator and the cabin itself had lots of water damage very visible so after paying almost 100 dollars I was not very happy and the office was closed at 6:30 pm when we arrived and was not open in the morning when we left so couldn’t even speak t

Very pleasant. Renfro Valley was a central point for us to meet with my sister from NC and explore Shakertown, Lexington, and SUP Kentucky. It was a very good stay. KOA’s are the best campground for us.

Pleasant staff, easy to find, not too close to Interstate I75, it was only a distant noise. Lots of activities for children. Awesome shower house.

We have been staying at Renfro Valley for 11 years. We staying the first weekend in June because our daughter competes in Special Olympics State Summer Games at EKU. All I can say is next year we will be staying elsewhere. There's no activities any more; pancake breakfast, ice cream social, candy bar bingo. We miss Gene and Michelle and Kevin and Holly!! Definitely not the same KOA at all!!!

I would not recommend a cabin across from the playground lots of screaming. Public should be allowed to use a swimming pool especially on weekends. One group of 12 kids is a bit much. I came down for quiet and relaxation had totally the opposite. Bathrooms kept very nice and clean. Staff was wonderful very helpful in every way they could. Kind of wish the camp store was open later for ice & stuff.

Stayed here memorial weekend and while they were short handed they did everything possible to make everyone's stay good. I reliazed that I was out of propane Friday night and Robert said that he would make sure he would fill them before he left for the night. He kept his word and filled it late and he was the only person working. Thanks to Robert. Great employee.

#1 No electricity- After setting up. we had to tear down and move. #2 Should be more clear about sewer hook ups. We did not have any at our site. #3 When we did leave the dump station was closed. Not a bad place, But very unorganized. Staff was great and very helpful and friendly.

The staff in the office were wonderful. They answered all our questions and willing to help however they could. The speed bumps coming in, along with the steep road up and down were the only down falls.

Robert was great and took good care of us. But the office was closed at 3 so we could not get food. The ice was locked too. As an overnight thing we did not have r vehicle to go anywhere. Overall it was a disappointment.

The weekend staff were wonderful. Robert and Daniel were constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. Mandy and Shyla were great in the office. They all planned activities for the weekend: candy bar bingo, karaoke, movie and popcorn, and our favorite was the Cornhole tournament that Robert ran. The kids really loved the jump pad. It was a great weekend.

They were short handed and very busy but everyone of the staff was excellent. This koa is very lucky to have workers they have. My whole family had a great time.

Area and facilities are clean, staff is nice, the place is quite and relaxing. However, we do miss all the extra fun activities that were planned and available when the previous owners were there.

The shower house/ bathroom was amazing. The amenities for the kids were great. Just wish the pool is heated for them. The paw pens were spectacular as we brought our puppy with us. I will now be looking for more campgrounds with this type of amenity.

Wonderful friendly staff, immaculate bathrooms and sites, lots of fun for kids and super welcoming to dog families. Would rather not have code on the bathroom but had lots of fun at this campsite.

We visited the KOA on May 10th. We met the new managers Preston and Tiffany Swanson. Preston gave us a a private tour. The improvements to the park and facilities are amazing. It was our first time back here in 5 years. We encourage all of our camper friends to give the new owner and managers a visit. My wife and I miss this wonderful park and our many friends we made while here. FYI we were the owners of this KOA from 2010 -2017. We will be back to camp the next time.
