Nature lovers, hikers, and outdoors enthusiasts unite for Wilderness Wildlife Week™ in Pigeon Forge! This event will take place May 9th through the 13th, and as always it is free and open to the public.Wilderness Wildlife Week has a variety of programs for all ages and different interests, ranging from programs specifically for the youngsters to guided hikes for the more adventurous folks. The programs will be offered from around 8:00 AM until around 7:30 PM daily.

Gatlinburg celebrates its Appalachian culinary past with a festive, fun-filled Beans 'n Cornbread cook off, complete with foot stompin' mountain music, fun and games and of course lots of beans and cornbread. This festival is in downtown Gatlinburg and visitors can sample all the different recipes while supplies last.
An evening of fun, and fine art with artwork generously donated by regional and national artists, great wines and unique event packages.
First July 4th parade in the nation! Gatlinburg parade starts at the stroke of midnight to begin Independence Day. Floats, balloons and marching bands pay tribute to our country during this Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Event.

Visitors can enjoy a fun, unmanned, floatable object race for the whole family. Free registration begins at 10am at the bridge under the chair lift on River Rd. in Gatlinburg. Prizes will be awarded in several different categories.
