Great camping site! Loved being next to the river. There were a ton of geese so there was quite a bit of honking. Also the closest bathroom was up a descent hill so be prepared lol. Amenities were great and the facility was very clean.

We love this KOA! It is pretty expensive compared to other campgrounds but it's ok, our kids love it. We were annoyed by a lot of kids in the campground running around with loud orange popping guns, and then we realized that they are sold in the camp store. I'd recommend they not sell those because it really disturbs the peace. The mini golf and fishing and boating was great. Thank you!

There was a large Asian Family staying two tent sites over. There had to be 5 tents in one campsite. They also had zero awareness of boundaries. The kids and adults ran through my campsite all day and night. At one point I was cooking over the fire and was startled when an asian man was standing over my shoulder watching me cook. Terrible experience due to that family. Rough night

First time visitor. Nice accommodations, friendly staff. Extra tent fee is a middle misleading, would move under payment or part of checkout. Bring a grill grate. That’s not included either.

I really appreciated the ease of scheduling a campsite at very short notice. The booking process provided all kids of details and we felt very prepared for our stay. Our party was me (an adult) and three 15-year-olds (my son and his two friends). I was very surprised when we arrived in person for check-in and were informed of a $25 fee per night per additional tent. That was a poor welcome.

First-time staying here. Im an an advid camper. Absolutely love this KOA. Wish they were open all year round. I will def be returning. Thank you for having such a great campground and clean facilities.

Astronomical prices for tent camping during the off-season. Very disappointing that there’s no discount for Boy Scouts.

Everyone on staff is so easygoing and friendly. For me the home run was having a tent site right next to the river. Priceless.

The folks at the KOA West Chester were really friendly and great. The sites were spacious and private. I’d definitely come back here and would highly recommend it to others.

The location of the sites is lovely; but the actual sites were not mowed, and had lots of depressions making for a difficult time finding a level spot for our tent. My husband felt that the men’s bath house was very dirty! Generally the staff was pleasant and very helpful.

Was not clear in the rule that it was only two tents per site. Had to buy an entire new site to accommodate 3 tents. We were lucky there was a site next to us available. Canoeing was fun and staff was friendly.

We have been camping at the Philadelphia/ West Chester KOA for a few years and everything is always great. This year we couldn’t select our camp site and they charged us extra for having 2 tents.

Only problem was $25 extra a day for having another tent on the site when we was under 6 people like the rule said, just beware of that I felt like its a late scam they pull because the web site doesn't state that, other then that it was good, BEWARE costed me a extra $100

Never stayed at a campground where you selected a tent site and there was no where to park your car at the tent site. Makes for a very inconvenient/unpleasttent stay.

Side had beautiful view of creek/farm, but no staff supervision to ensure guests observe quiet hrs. Once the office closes, people do whatever they want. Had a site of 6 unsupervised teenagers who were extremely loud and vulger. Kept us up til midnight.

Staff placed the only two tent parties directly next to each other. We had to ask to move sites for privacy. Nickel and diming us on site for a second tent? I prepaid online with exact kids and adult count. Then hit with extra $25 fee for 2nd tent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My issues are with policy. Site maintenance not as kept up as last summer. Jump pad dirty. Chess overgrown.

I stayed by myself at campsite 132 and set up my car tent. It was a very comfortable and peaceful spot, with a great view! The employers were very helpful and caring to me! I will definitely be back either by myself again, or with a friend next time this fall!

Stayed at campsite 121 and 122. The sites were huge, clean and very private with a great view of the lake and horses across the lake. The employees are super friendly and helpful. The pool, park, and jumping pad were great and my boys loved it, thank you for a great stay!

The employees at this location made our stay perfect. Everyone in the camp store and the campgrounds went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. They always said hello and greeted you with a smile. All of them looked like they enjoyed their job. I made it a point to stop and thank them on my way out. They should be commended. :)

The staff was great and so friendly. We loved the shop and all the merchandise. The pool was fantastic, and we loved renting the canoes. Campgrounds were clean and well-maintained. My only complaint was that there was constant loud music for most of our stay. Don’t mind people listening to music, but this particular group was blaring it all day.

Weather not so friendly with rain on day one. Did not arrive until day two. Tent campsite was clean, flat and nice location by the river. Left very early on departure day due to more rain. The staff was friendly and made sure I was comfortable. Will be back. .

We were in town for a soccer tournament and this Kampground was close to the fields we were playing at. The tent sites were gorgeous with the Brandywine Creek right there and the horses across the creek was an added bonus. Overall, the entire staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was the hill to get to the to the bathroom from the tent sites...haha. Not like I couldn't use the exercise.

It was not clear on the website that you can only have one tent per site or pay for a second tent. We had to purchase 2- sites for our 3 tents, when we only used one site and it was plenty big enough. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner. Overall it is a great place to camp and is very family friendly.

Extremely kid friendly campground. Have been 5-6 times now and it is always a great time. I have 4 and 5 year old boys and it is their dream weekend. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The crafts and activities are well planned and a lot of fun for the kids.

The campground was well maintained; beautiful flowers and plants throughout the campground. Plenty of room for campers with tents, Rv's & cabins. The camp store had everything you need for camping plus more. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

We have tented at this KOA several times in one of the spots right on the Brandywine River and we love it there! Wish there was a bathroom down by those sites. Otherwise - awesome place! Staff was very pleasant! Thank you!

I’ve stayed at KOAs before and have been underwhelmed by them, but the Philadelphia/West Chester KOA exceeded my expectations. The sites were clean and well spaced out. My site along the river had an incredible view. The facilities were also clean. The only improvement I would recommend is to plant more grass at site 112 as it was mostly dirt which got dust everywhere.

Family vibe. I was down because my jeep-camper broke down on the way, I got yelled at where it broke down and the staff made me feel better. I had to book 3 sights for my upcoming birthday. Thanks to caring staff.
