I booked 3 sites online as usual and applied a hot deal code for 50% off the second night for October 16th-18th. The office charged the full amount when I paid the remainder on arrival. I explained that it should have been 50% but they said this weekend was apparently a ‘holiday’ weekend so they can’t honor it (despite the code applying to my booking and having the confirmation email).

My son liked it so I gave it two stars. But from an adults perspective, I hated it. My biggest complaint is the bathrooms being so far from the tent sites. You have to walk up a very steep hill. I have medical issues and this made it hard. I tried driving up three separate times and all three times the spots for parking were full. Campsite was also super muddy and we were sliding around.

We enjoyed the shaded campsite within 30 ft of Brandywine Creek. Just before leaving we enjoyed an hour paddling the river with supplied canoes. Beautiful!! Sraff was very helpful.

We’ve been coming to this koa for a few years now and love it so much ! We drive 2 and a half hours every time to come here because we love it here! The staff are so kind and accommodating and the place is beautiful and well maintained! The energy is beautiful here!! Thank you!!

We had 4 premium campsites beside the river and the sites and playgrounds were excellent. Everyone complained about the walk to the restrooms, especially, the elderly that were in our group. The restroom floors were often muddy - they need to be cleaned more frequently. Kids movie was for 7:30p but started at 7pm and kids were super disappointed. Canoe rental was the highlight and we enjoyed it!

Second time staying and enjoyed this visit better than the first one. More activities for the kids. The cabins are great, but, tent camping is the way to go.

Loved this campground & facilities were great! However the bathrooms were not clean. We were there 2 nights/3 full days & I only saw the bathrooms cleaned once. that was at 11am & gross from previous afternoon/night. The day we left at 1pm it still hadn't been cleaned. It was obvious they hadn't been tended-one point no paper towels,the later no toilet paper. why does the store open so late? Thx!

Very disappointed, description of Premium water front tent site was glorifying a patch of dirt. There was no enforcement of campground rules or etiquette, bathrooms were a slip and fall hazard. I was so excited to stay there I paid $104 for a square of dirt with electric that other campers felt was also theirs to park on and walk through. Never again highly disappointed in the KOA location.

Great camping site! Loved being next to the river. There were a ton of geese so there was quite a bit of honking. Also the closest bathroom was up a descent hill so be prepared lol. Amenities were great and the facility was very clean.

We love this KOA! It is pretty expensive compared to other campgrounds but it's ok, our kids love it. We were annoyed by a lot of kids in the campground running around with loud orange popping guns, and then we realized that they are sold in the camp store. I'd recommend they not sell those because it really disturbs the peace. The mini golf and fishing and boating was great. Thank you!

There was a large Asian Family staying two tent sites over. There had to be 5 tents in one campsite. They also had zero awareness of boundaries. The kids and adults ran through my campsite all day and night. At one point I was cooking over the fire and was startled when an asian man was standing over my shoulder watching me cook. Terrible experience due to that family. Rough night

First time visitor. Nice accommodations, friendly staff. Extra tent fee is a middle misleading, would move under payment or part of checkout. Bring a grill grate. That’s not included either.

I really appreciated the ease of scheduling a campsite at very short notice. The booking process provided all kids of details and we felt very prepared for our stay. Our party was me (an adult) and three 15-year-olds (my son and his two friends). I was very surprised when we arrived in person for check-in and were informed of a $25 fee per night per additional tent. That was a poor welcome.

First-time staying here. Im an an advid camper. Absolutely love this KOA. Wish they were open all year round. I will def be returning. Thank you for having such a great campground and clean facilities.

Astronomical prices for tent camping during the off-season. Very disappointing that there’s no discount for Boy Scouts.

Everyone on staff is so easygoing and friendly. For me the home run was having a tent site right next to the river. Priceless.

The folks at the KOA West Chester were really friendly and great. The sites were spacious and private. I’d definitely come back here and would highly recommend it to others.

The location of the sites is lovely; but the actual sites were not mowed, and had lots of depressions making for a difficult time finding a level spot for our tent. My husband felt that the men’s bath house was very dirty! Generally the staff was pleasant and very helpful.

Was not clear in the rule that it was only two tents per site. Had to buy an entire new site to accommodate 3 tents. We were lucky there was a site next to us available. Canoeing was fun and staff was friendly.

We have been camping at the Philadelphia/ West Chester KOA for a few years and everything is always great. This year we couldn’t select our camp site and they charged us extra for having 2 tents.

Only problem was $25 extra a day for having another tent on the site when we was under 6 people like the rule said, just beware of that I felt like its a late scam they pull because the web site doesn't state that, other then that it was good, BEWARE costed me a extra $100

Never stayed at a campground where you selected a tent site and there was no where to park your car at the tent site. Makes for a very inconvenient/unpleasttent stay.

Side had beautiful view of creek/farm, but no staff supervision to ensure guests observe quiet hrs. Once the office closes, people do whatever they want. Had a site of 6 unsupervised teenagers who were extremely loud and vulger. Kept us up til midnight.

Staff placed the only two tent parties directly next to each other. We had to ask to move sites for privacy. Nickel and diming us on site for a second tent? I prepaid online with exact kids and adult count. Then hit with extra $25 fee for 2nd tent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My issues are with policy. Site maintenance not as kept up as last summer. Jump pad dirty. Chess overgrown.

I stayed by myself at campsite 132 and set up my car tent. It was a very comfortable and peaceful spot, with a great view! The employers were very helpful and caring to me! I will definitely be back either by myself again, or with a friend next time this fall!

Stayed at campsite 121 and 122. The sites were huge, clean and very private with a great view of the lake and horses across the lake. The employees are super friendly and helpful. The pool, park, and jumping pad were great and my boys loved it, thank you for a great stay!

The employees at this location made our stay perfect. Everyone in the camp store and the campgrounds went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. They always said hello and greeted you with a smile. All of them looked like they enjoyed their job. I made it a point to stop and thank them on my way out. They should be commended. :)

The staff was great and so friendly. We loved the shop and all the merchandise. The pool was fantastic, and we loved renting the canoes. Campgrounds were clean and well-maintained. My only complaint was that there was constant loud music for most of our stay. Don’t mind people listening to music, but this particular group was blaring it all day.

Weather not so friendly with rain on day one. Did not arrive until day two. Tent campsite was clean, flat and nice location by the river. Left very early on departure day due to more rain. The staff was friendly and made sure I was comfortable. Will be back. .

Went on a little weekend camping trip and really loved this place. It's super small compared to most campgrounds we've been to, but it was perfect so our daughter could roam with her friends without us worrying. The office staff was amazing, sites were clean, they even delivered the fire wood. Prices inside the store were reasonable, bathrooms were clean. I did feel the price for the stay itself was a little high compared to similar places we've stayed. It was a "holiday" (halloween) weekend, but still about double what we're used to. Overall it was a great experience. It's gotta be even better when the pool is open!

This is a beautiful campground once you get to it. Embreeville rd is a nightmare with a larger unit. We have 41 ft fifth wheel and our GPS was saying the whole time 25 ft limit. You can make it with a larger unit but don't recommend it. Staff is very good but won't do that road again. Shame it's a nice place.
