First thing is the lodge is not open. It would’ve been nice to play a game of pool or two . Second the office hours stink if you want to get a cuppa coffee, you have to wait till 8 o’clock seven would be great. Third and I know it’s out of the campgrounds control, but there are some real scumbags that use the bathroom during my stay. I had to literally clean the bathroom stall before using i

This campground is always top notch. I brought my friends for a birthday celebration and the staff were amazing as always. They always make you feel at home, safe, and just cozy where ever you stay on site.

Beautiful clean campground, I am so happy we picked this campground for a recent trip to Philly. The staff were warm and helpful and the campground is so picturistic. We do not have any children but easy to see that there are a ton of activities to keep young ones entertained. Definitely considering a repeat visit so I can get out on the river in one of the canoes. We rented a basic cabin

What a great place to bring family together! We met up for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time - the lodges were cozy and clean, and we loved sitting around the fire and making s'mores! We hope to be back again next year.

Stayed one night in October. It was clean and quaint. Lots of activities for our toddler, even in the fall. Looking forward to coming back when it's warm.

We enjoyed our stay but a couple frustrations. We arrived a little early and although the cabin was ready they wanted to charge an extra $25 to access even less than an hour before checkin. With the prices of the cabins being well over $200 per night this seems petty and not friendly toward a regular KOA member. When we got into the cabin the trash was full from the prior guests which was gross.

We have been staying at this site with a group of friends on the same date for 5 years. We were shocked to learn that we didn’t get the same priority booking on cabins for next year and very disappointed that one family in the group were not able to reserve the same cabin they’d had. The prices have raised dramatically and the ambiance has diminished from years past. Sad about the changes

Our stay was fantastic. This was our 4th year in the same cabin for the weekend before Halloween. HOWEVER, WE ARE EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND ACTUALLY ANGRY THAT WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STAY IN THAT CABIN AGAIN. It is my understanding that KOA corporate changed the reservation and reservation policy so that we no longer had the right of first refusal to book again next year as were were leaving.

We were told about the noise level on two different evenings and while we probably were a bit loud the first evening, I believe we were targeted for the second evening when in fact it was the two sites across from us. (We hung out at a friends site, not the one we booked) one of the gentlemen from other site was asking us to turn up the music which added to the first nights noise level.

When we got in our cabin we had to kill at least (not even exaggerating) 40 stink bugs. I get we're outside but our friends had the cabin next to us and had none. Ours was obviously not inspected before we checked in. Also, our fire pit wasn't cleaned out. The activities were fun but the times were changed on almost every one and some were canceled, not even due to weather. I miss the old owners

Stayed in Cabin 1. The deck at Cabin 1 is very unsteady and unsafe. We tried not to go near that area as the boards felt soft and ready to break. We did report this to the Office. The time spent at KOA was extremely enjoyable!!! Had some nice walks, interactions with others, and campfire food! This has been our third year here,

The lady with the short blond hair is the reason we'd come back. She was lovely, helpful, and very clear in all the areas of our stay. The lady with the long blond hair who was connected to the new manager, who I believe is from the Dakotas, on the other hand, seemed to need some customer service training. She never asked what I needed and instead spoke at me nonstop. It was intense and offputting

Stayed there in a tent, in a Pop up and now a cabin.Cabin upgrade that other campgrouds have, would be to add a small refrigerator, a table light and an outdoor outlet. The bathrooms are nice, but the sink faucets are set to give you just 3 seconds of water! Have to constantly hit it, the FDA says we should wash our hands for at least 60 seconds. Add HOT water to sinks! Need to shave.

We've been staying at this campground since the '90s and have always had a great experience. Weather didn't fully cooperate but in spite of that we had a tremendous time. Lodge has obviously had a makeover which was great! Everything was well cared for and immaculate! we didn't make the Mushroom Festival and Longwood Gardens was shut down, but we'll try again next year and stay here.

Staff is always so friendly and helpful. The grounds are taken care of and the store has what you need. We always hate leaving but are relaxed when we do.

We stayed in a luxury cabin at Philadelphia/ West Chester KOA. It was the nicest and most will equipped cabin we have ever stayed-in at any campground. The campground had a beautiful pool area with plenty of seating. We also enjoyed fishing on the Brandywine River. The staff was friendly and htave great local recommendations.

Employee Louise raised her voice at my child and I on 2 of our 3 days stay. She screamed at us for using the bathroom before taking the canoe we had rented out (wasting time she alleged), then screamed at us for trying to buy a piece of candy on our way out because it was a few minutes after checkout time (we checked out well before). People stared in disbelief and we were in tears from her abuse!

the safari tent was nice and clean. biggest issue was that the tent is close to road and you hear every car/truck, motorcycle pass at all hours. also there was construction across the street which was also close proximity to the tents and they were hammering and making plenty of noise before 7am. The KOA was very nice, I just won't be going back.

The grounds was very clean and the bathroom also. Everyone was very nice and helpful at all time. The gem mining table water stop running. They came right over and fixed it. Will be back again soon.

A few things on list at cabin that were not there (bath mat, throw rugs) not needed just noted Loft should be described as a “juvenile” loft with floor mattresses not as a “lift with bunks” which implies adults could sleep their. - due to circumstances beyond our control we ended up with no visitors but would have been difficult to j house 2 adults up there.

Cabin floors were dirty. Pool was dirty. My site during the rain storm became a river and the security guard was rude.

This was our family’s first camping experience and we really enjoyed it. We stayed in one of the Safari tents which was so neat. We especially loved the privacy the safari tent offered. Our kids (ages 6, 4, 1) really enjoyed the playground and various activities on site.

We had a few issue with our cabin. It was bought to the attention of the staff. Staff member came to our cabin ssues were not resolved. The folllowing day, it again spoke to the staff. While I was at the camp store, the manager walked in. She was very unprofessional. Her solution to the issues was either to leave or put up with it. A shout out goes to Jonathan that resolved one of our issue.

Had a wonderful visit. This KOA offers some great views via scenic Chester County. The staff were beyond nice and helpful. We will be returning for an extended stay in the near future.

This is a great campground for families and couples. Great things to keep kids occupied. Water to fish and enjoy. Nice areas for dogs to run. We enjoyed the little hiking trail. The bathrooms were were clean and roomy. Staff was nice as well. Sites were nicely sized and you don't feel cramped in.
