Only the most mercenary campgrounds will charge for early arrival, and you qualify. I thought your warning about early arrival charges were to discourage that practice, and you really wouldn’t charge but I was wrong. This further adds to the reasons I plan to continue to avoid KOA in the future.

This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Close to home but a great little getaway from the normal. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The campground it's self is well maintained and has great views all around.

Found the place clean, warm, and friendly. Amy, the lady who checked us in went out of her way to make us feel welcome and wanted. We’ve been looking for a campground in the west Chester area amd it appears we’ve found a winner. Thank you KOA West Chester

Campsite(s) very attractive, not overcrowded Showers good but not great Though we don’t have a family, there are a lot of amenities that are family oriented.

Beautiful area & setting. Always friendly & inviting staff. Very clean & maintained, mining, extra large outdoor chess, bounce pad & canoeing. Family loves it!

We had a great site, deluxe pull through. Very roomy and it's off season and mid week.so it was very quiet. It's a very hilly and lovely location but the best part is being greeted with smiles and laughter by two of the friendliest ladies. They took the time to go over a street map of Philly and show us all the places to park, the most interesting places to visit and the right highway to take.

This is my 2nd time staying here. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the store is stocked and the facilities are clean. Things to know that are not good or bad - on weekends people seem to like to party and hearing other campers music is going to happen. I wouldn't say it's a quiet campground outside of quiet hours. If you are in the tent sites the bathroom is a hike up a good sized hill.

this location is over an hour ride to Philadelphia. The roads to this location are very narrow and difficult for RV. The entrance is step as is the road to the sites. the Sites are not really level. Stay here because it is the closest CG to Philly area. Nice staff and helpful.

Awesome! Clean grounds, super friendly staff, was able to change my reservation and accommodate our request for riverside site. Secluded, quiet, very relaxing! Fantastic stay!

This is a fantastic place with many very good sites. We had site 82 with a patio, fire pit and great view.

The Stay started off rather poorly considering we got a text, welcoming us with a phone number to call if we needed assistance. We needed assistance and no one answered the phone. I texted the number no one responded. I emailed per their voicemail instruction, no response and when I arrive and told them I tried to reach them they said they prioritize their in person customers.

Good site. Level with plenty of space between sites. Suggest hard surfacing main roads. Was covered with dirt/dust from gravel roads.

KOA signage had us come in on the bridge we were supposed to avoid. Cable reception was very poor.

Beautiful location, some very nice sites, moderately well kept. Roads to and from very narrow, curved, but doable except as noted in their correspondence.

Everything was great. I wish there was more to do during the week. A couple people were grumpy but almost all were wonderful and helpful . The roads going to the campground are narrow so you definitely have to take your time.

We loved our stay, the staff was amazing. My mother had an issue with one site not having full hookup. The employee mover her next to me. We had a great time except for the rain. Lol We will definitely come back!!!!!

Nice secluded site. Hilly. Friendly staff. Arrived the day after labor day and pool was closed even in the low 80s.

Wonderful campground and we loved the hiking trail. The only suggestion we have is that there is a pop up warning about the MANY low bridges and provide a route from all directions. The information that we were given wasn’t helpful from the direction we were approaching the campground. That said, the staff was awesome and took care of us well.

OMG One campground had a concert speaker and played music so loud you could hear it across the entire campground. KOA did nothing about it. Thisbis more like a journey then a holiday KOA. Not worth the money go to the other one.

Most everyone is very nice!! There were a cpl. not so much.. They are always around cleaning and it shows and there store is well stocked. Im not sure of their bathrooms as i have not used them. There is not very much to do and nothing really close by. We did have a good time

The sites are hilly and rocky, resulting in a beautiful view once you settle in. The Office Staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a nice pool, an excellent view of the river in the loweer sites, and many activites for kids and young thinking adults.

We had an awesome stay here! We especially loved the playground/jumping pillow area, pool, and canoeing right from the campground.

The stay was fine. I didn’t like the fact I paid for a camp site. Charged for two adults charged for a extra tent. Far as I am concerned you should pay for the site. Not the site and an extra tent, on top of extra tent. The extra was only for one day not two. And I was still charged for two days for extra tent along with the adult who went home and did not stay for two nights.

This is our 4th year coming to your campground for our tubing trip. Everyone is so nice and the campground is clean. Our water pressure on our site was awful. Mini golf should be updated. Overall we like your campground and are coming back next year again! We hit Hoods Barbeque every year too.

Beautiful, well kept and clean campground. Staff went above and beyond! I would like to especially thank Arlene at the check in counter. She was very welcoming and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We purchased our 1st KOA membership from her, and will continue to return often!

Wow do I love this place!!! This is my second time here and I have had nothing but awesome experiences both times. First time we camped down by the river in a tent, which was gorgeous to wake up next to every morning. You can see horses roaming the field just across the way, and it's a great place to launch a kayak from as well. The second time we stayed in a 2bd cabin with private deck and it was fantastic! The private deck was soooo nice to have (minus a few bees during the hotter parts of the day). The cabin had the perfect amount of space and wasn't located too far from the restrooms. The staff here are lovely, the amenities are everything you could need and more, and the overall vibe here is very peaceful and chill. Highly recommend!!! We will be back.

Going in the off season, we had the site and creek to ourselves. Amy was amazing with me and my grandkids, and I can't wait to bring my husband and dog next time. Thanks so much!

We had a nice time, it was cold, and experiencing in a 3 season tent was interesting. My opinion on the KOA : The front desk ladies were nice, all the Staff is friendly and checks up daily. The location is clean, and very quiet, on the off seasons. My concerns they want to check into: Please have a separate washing machine for people pets products.(-all the washing machine had pet hair and other pet stuff in all the washers. It was gross. I washed my clothes at a family washing machine down the road. Second: the tent sites are on uneven footing on top of the hill, not recommended for large tents. Perfect for small Rvs, and small 2 people tents. It's rock ground(gravel) mixed with grass. And watch your footing you will hit rocks. I tripped at least 2 times. And it's a walk to the bathrooms. Nice view of the stars and you have to be careful because a little walk behind the campsite it drops into a gorge (train tracks) deep fall. You have visited from deer and squirrels and rabbits. Hope you like roosters they will wake you up early morning. But on the lower levels, by the water it was peaceful. Very much dirt barely grass. But flat nice for large tents and families. Only down fall. I would put a bathroom down on the lower levels near the water. It will bring more visitors and you have room to put one there, because it is a long drive to the one bathroom . The end of the driveway down the hill needs to be fixed it has a sharp edge on the bottom right side near the forest edge, you do have river otters and beavers, lot of carp, but small amounts of small fish. Very shallow in some areas and you do have to have a Pa fishing licenses. Farm across the river. Very nice and pleasant. I would stay here again but on warmer days.
