Difficult campground to get to and the roads in the campground are very rough and need to be improved greatly.

Beautiful area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location for Valley Forge, Longwood Gardens, and the train to Philly. Camping down by the river seems to have a long term mud problem. The challenge was hiking up a significant hill to get to the restroom/bath house. It would help to have a restroom/bath house down by the river. Next time we will get a site up above.

Roads leading to koa are not well maintained. Roads in KOA are in terrible shape We understand a few weeks ago a Strom came thru but little to nothing has been done to repair them. Making it hazardous for rigs and walkers. Also trail was closed presuming from the storms yet after weeks tree still blocks path seems no effort made to get it open. Site 25 was great but needed maintenance

The site we reserved was not available. Our site needed more gravel and was not level. Due to rain, mud permeated our site and, again, gravel would have been a great help.

I will start with the good... Nice patio area on our site, labor staff was really nice, enjoyed the pool, relaxed a bit. Now the not so good... Way overpriced, site manager is MIA, staff gets no support from new management/owner, roads are in terrible shape, everything is a-la-cart fee, facilities are outdated. This is not a resort campground. Listen to staff, they know how to run a campground!

We stayed 2 nights in a patio site. Thunderstorm and 4 hr power outage 1st evening we were there, but we got a very good Italian dinner delivered right to our site arriving after the storm. Staff was great. Pool and grounds were beautiful - and was the reason we picked this as a stopover from the pictures on their website and Google street views, which actually shows a lot of the campground.

Very clean campground the campsites are very small,and tight to get into. We found the staff very friendly. Unfortunately it rained a lot while we were there. We plan to go back again hopefully on sunny day when more activities are open

Lovely flat site. Nice view of the creek. This campground could use a few more places to go to the bathroom. The shower house at the office and the pool were just lovely. And thank you for arranging such wonderful weather while we were there. Tent camping.

Campground and staff were great. Reason for low recommend number is difficulty finding the koa and narrow winding roads..the gps was useless, as predicted by koa, and maps not very helpful...would recommend more koa signs at intersections to help. Staff very nice and helpful.. property well kept and beautiful...had a lovely patio site

The main issue here were the roads in the campground. They were very narrow and so "washed out" with ruts and holes everywhere. Also, trees needed maintenance. The pool and playground area were very nice. The staff was excellent. We will most likely not return due to the roads.

This was our first trip with our new and first camper. We were given help right away any time we asked and we asked a lot since this was our first time. Robert showed us to our campsite and patiently guided my husband as he worked at backing into the site. We had trouble with our air conditioner and Robert came right away. He even offered to guide us in emptying tanks on his time off.

One night stay on a trip south. Staff was beyond friendly and awesome. Our site had a little issue with being level. Only big complaint was with the guests in a cabin who took on the self appointed task of DJing for everyone else. Didn't appreciate being asked by the kids what a WAP is. Soild stay over all and would stop in again when on that route. Thanks!

Wonderful location. Great vibe. There needs to be more attention to the overall maintenance. Weeds and wash-out of mulch and gravel roads give this location a notch off of perfect.

We had a Patio site. Patio was never cleaned. Charcoal grill and campfire pit never cleaned out before or during our stay. Site required boards to level. Very steep roads. Mostly dirt roads.

Have been coming yearly fir many years but your gravel roads have deteriorated badly since last Oct. Many ruts & uneven spots. Had to use 4 wheel drive in/out site. Dangerous walking on roads. Please fix!! Also, site had numerous food wrappers, etc on arrival. I picked up most but so did your staff member when she delivered wood. Never had any issues before. Hope conditions improve as enjoy coming

Nice property but quite a lot of miscommunication .I called to check on cost of family visiting for 2 hrs to eat dinner Was told 5.00 per car only to be told 5.oo per person. 40.00 for 8 ppl to have dinner with us and leave usung no anenities This was hughway robbery. Get your staff on the same page! Which is it? I explained we were only going to see them for 2 hrs after all we arrived at 5:30 pm.

Lots of workers keeping up with maintenance. The pool was good, store well stocked, bathroom and laundry clean. We usually get water & electric but sites 3-6 were terrible, big ruts. We splurged and spent a lot to get a full hook up patio site for the first time, which was really nice.

Overall great experience. The bath/shower rooms could use a cleanup though. The staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was very nice on those hot days and we loved the amenities for the kids.

We were told to wait for an escort to our site. The person escorting us did not know where they were going. I had to pull back out on the main road and go back in to the campground to try again. The campground roads were washed away with deep ruts. I’m surprised I didn’t damage my trailer. The campsite itself had trash from the previous campers and the bushes /grass were overgrown.

We enjoyed our stay on patio site 25! All of the associates were very friendly & courteous. Our one gripe is the condition of the access road. It is in dire need of stone to fill in the ruts & pot holes. We do miss the Saturday morning pancake breakfast! Cheers!

Had a great stay at this KOA, staff was very friendly. The sites are beautiful down by the creek. Two improvement suggestions would be: -put a port-a-potty down near the creek sites to eliminate the need to walk up that steep hill each time to use the bathroom - sand the corners of the picnic tables as they are very sharp.

Clean, friendly campground. Had some planned activities for the kids which was nice. The access to the water was nice but a little more space to park would have helped since we had several kayaks and tunes.

Pricey and very difficult getting here. Do not come in from the Coatsville area, arriving from the south is a little better. They offer a decent amount of things for the kids but most of them cost extra. I've stayed at nicer KOAs, for cheaper, that offered free activities like mini golf.

Lovely campground. Staff was great. If you are planning on visiting Philadelphia, this is probably not the campground to stay at. It's about an hour to Philadelphia and the roads to and from are narrow and curvy. Again, it's a beautiful campground, laundry was very clean, nice bathrooms, some shade, some not, site was level.

Campground staff is friendly. Sites are somewhat level but kind of muddy due to people killing the grass with large mats. Campground roads are gravel and rutted badly. The biggest issue is getting a fifth wheel or motor home to the campground. There are multiple roads leading to it but all of them have tree issues, too narrow and tree branches hanging too low.

We were disappointed. The internal roads were quite rutted. The cable was fuzzy. Be warned local roads not meant for large rv's. The roads are narrow and winding. The trees and brush limit the roads further. We hit a tree limb, others there longer than us did too, crossing the road 200 yrds from the entrance to the campground. Management claimed no knowledge of this issue.

To hard to get to. Roads at the camp ground are washed out. All sites are unlevel. . Price is way too high. I want be back. Staff was very friendly.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The staff was so nice and helpful. We loved fishing and kayaking along the Brandywine. We will be back!

Facility was nicely maintained Roads in are horrible - GPS best not to follow Maybe better directions should be supplied or posted on website Pool - Several van loads of children were brought in on 2 of the days of our stay to use the pool . It would have been nice to know about this so we could have planned our pool time differently

The facilities and the staff are excellent. What dropped my rating was that the roadways inside the campgrounds are narrow, and were washed out/rutted in certain area including right by my site. I came with another camper who had to back out of his pull through site upon leaving. Area roadways are narrow and winding with overhanging trees and brush. Don’t get stuck on the wrong road!

Wow do I love this place!!! This is my second time here and I have had nothing but awesome experiences both times. First time we camped down by the river in a tent, which was gorgeous to wake up next to every morning. You can see horses roaming the field just across the way, and it's a great place to launch a kayak from as well. The second time we stayed in a 2bd cabin with private deck and it was fantastic! The private deck was soooo nice to have (minus a few bees during the hotter parts of the day). The cabin had the perfect amount of space and wasn't located too far from the restrooms. The staff here are lovely, the amenities are everything you could need and more, and the overall vibe here is very peaceful and chill. Highly recommend!!! We will be back.

Going in the off season, we had the site and creek to ourselves. Amy was amazing with me and my grandkids, and I can't wait to bring my husband and dog next time. Thanks so much!

We had a nice time, it was cold, and experiencing in a 3 season tent was interesting. My opinion on the KOA : The front desk ladies were nice, all the Staff is friendly and checks up daily. The location is clean, and very quiet, on the off seasons. My concerns they want to check into: Please have a separate washing machine for people pets products.(-all the washing machine had pet hair and other pet stuff in all the washers. It was gross. I washed my clothes at a family washing machine down the road. Second: the tent sites are on uneven footing on top of the hill, not recommended for large tents. Perfect for small Rvs, and small 2 people tents. It's rock ground(gravel) mixed with grass. And watch your footing you will hit rocks. I tripped at least 2 times. And it's a walk to the bathrooms. Nice view of the stars and you have to be careful because a little walk behind the campsite it drops into a gorge (train tracks) deep fall. You have visited from deer and squirrels and rabbits. Hope you like roosters they will wake you up early morning. But on the lower levels, by the water it was peaceful. Very much dirt barely grass. But flat nice for large tents and families. Only down fall. I would put a bathroom down on the lower levels near the water. It will bring more visitors and you have room to put one there, because it is a long drive to the one bathroom . The end of the driveway down the hill needs to be fixed it has a sharp edge on the bottom right side near the forest edge, you do have river otters and beavers, lot of carp, but small amounts of small fish. Very shallow in some areas and you do have to have a Pa fishing licenses. Farm across the river. Very nice and pleasant. I would stay here again but on warmer days.
