Sites are pretty lopsided and restrooms/Shower were insufficient for amount of campers. There was a LaCrosse tournament nearby and kids overpowered the facility. Beautiful area, very relaxing.

The staff seemed friendly, the campground overall is decent , the major cons are extremely low water pressure less then 10-15 psi, sites are extremely un- level , I requested a few times about an explanation of the water pressure and they went unanswered, I am returning in a week to stay for 2 weeks for work hopefully it gets resolved as I couldn’t use my hot water not enough flow

Been coming back for 26 years for a reunion of sorts. Only criticism is that the riverbank is not maintained. Used to get weed-whacked, but now the grass/weeds/itch-weed is 3 feet tall along the river. We pay a premium for these sites, but you can't get near the river to fish or simply watch the turtles and wildlife. Some shade trees down near 111/112 would also be nice.

Too hilly, too close to.neighbors, grass and dirt site not level, steep & slippery canoe launch site, wouldn't sell last hat on shelf, another campers travel bag with personal items picked up as garbage, not much to do, left a day early but Nice pool. Road in very curved and tight.

Nice secluded campground... as oted by several other campers, the water pressure is extremely problematic.

There are spider webs on the legs of the stall doors in both the women’s and men’s rooms. Toilets need to be cleaned EVERYDAY!!! Shower tiles falling off the wall. Rust stains and black marks on shower surround. Restrooms need thorough cleaning everyday!!!! Campground is conveniently located and was quiet at night.

This is a nice, small park. A little tight but navigable . The roads to get to the park are a little narrow and curvy but very doable. Take your time. 15-17 minutes to Downingtown to pick up the train to Philadelphia city center. Several nice towns nearby to visit.

We enjoyed it. High grass on our site led to bees on the white flower (white clover)weeds. I got stung as well as our dog.

This was my 4th stay. Beautiful surroundings. I always enjoy the quiet there. The employees are very nice. I have two things that were different this year. Someone does escort you to your site, but that person did not get out of the cart to line me up with the hook ups. This is helpful when traveling alone. The restrooms & showers at the end of campground were dirty the entire week.

The staff (Deanne) and others were very helpful and pleasant. The facility was in very nice condition. Our patio site was wonderful, especially the adirondack chairs.

Low water pressure. Was told winter weather caused multiple leaks and it appears another one happened the weekend I arrived. Second, roads throughout the park need gravel or pavement. I have used this park 2 times previously and dreaded the roads going to the park. Use caution and a RV soecific APP that considers bridge height. Regardless, go slow.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. We were passing through and only needed one night in a tent, but it was a wonderful night. The staff were super nice and cordial. The bathrooms and showers were clean and the water was hot and plentiful. The night was quiet…what else could you ask for! My wife was happy….that’s 5 stars in my book!

Beautiful trip with the grandchildren. The campground is super hilly but the sites are level. The hills make it more beautiful. Loved having a kiddie pool too.

We are still waiting for a follow up on our sewer line lid that was damaged while the grass was being mowed.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Many sites were very (too) close together, but luckily ours offered more privacy. The worst thing was the bathroom did mot get cleaned from Sun. When we arrived to Wed. When we left even though sign said it would be checked several times a day. Only 1 of 2 showeres were open on our area.

we only stayed one night after a long stressful drive. walked my dog, used the dog park. really didn't use the beautiful pool, or any of the other great amenities. the shower facility could have been cleaner and the site was a challenge to level our rig. so, not good, not bad.

Myself and my family have been there numerous times. Always a sure bet. The store is well equipped but i always feel like the items are a little overpriced for the average person. I had a friend with me that was going to get his 4 grandkids some keep sakes but decided not to saying things seemed expensive. Do not get me wrong. Your place has to make a profit absolutely. Looking fwd to next trip

Very friendly staff. Check.i. Was easy and the escort to our site was very helpful. We had a nice pull-thru with beautiful afternoon shade. The only negative was the water pressure-- it was almost non-existent. Taking a shower was not great but worse was there was barely enough pressure to flush the toilet- even just toilet paper!! It was very frustrating.

We had a nice site down by the river overlooking the farm. That area could use some improvement with grass area around the sites. We came in from the north and left going south. The road to the south is white knuckle ride with a large RV.

Very hilly campground with uneven sites. WiFi was unreliable and water pressure was terrible. It’s also in a secluded area with narrow roads, hard to drive a big rig.

terrible campground, for 117$ i would expect the site to be level, don't care about being on a slope, I've been to others on similar ground that were fine, there's equipment for that

The staff was very responsive to issues. The grass hadn’t been cut prior to our stay so we asked them to cut it and they immediately sent someone up to cut it. The water pressure was extremely erratic and low, making it impossible to use our shower so we had to fill our tank and use our own pump to maintain water pressure. Also the pool was not open despite the outdoor temperature being 90 F.

Wow. Amazing people! We stopped for RV dump and propane and the staff was so kind and helpful. Offering assistance with parking and pumping propane. Explaining details in the store. My kids loved playing on the play structure and giant chess. We'll definitely be back to camp!

Beautiful park on the Brandywine River and just 6 miles from Longwood Gardens. Top destination in the area. Celebrating 250th birthday of our nation. People seem to enjoy the fishing and canoeing and love the waterfront sites! My sister loved her cabin had everything she needed. We sat around the firepit laughing having good time. During the week it was less busy. Out on a walk by the riverside the sunset was spectular lit up the sky and river burnt orange. Side note, go to Kelly's in Thorndale for breakfast.
