Campground Reviews

No to much Space in between the tents, no shampoo or soap available in the bathroom. Bathroom was dirty.

Every staff member was so kind and extra helpful! I had a lovely shaded spot -FHU- on the edge of the property. Great Verizon cell service but little to no AT&T.

Site 80 /81 was great. Very private. Staff was friendly. Roads are washed out after storm. Lawn maintenance needs improvement. Debris from storm everywhere with no one cleaning up. Grass isn’t mowed in all areas. Permanent residents drag down the place.

The cabin was perfect! Short walk to all the activities. The kids had a blast doing all the fun stuff scheduled by the campground.

We always enjoy the crafts and community fun things to do. The putt putt is in poor repair and should be maintained better. Some canoes missing crossbar pieces which is an easy fix. (its a piece of wood) Outside of that, just providing some feedback and information which can be used to improve the customer experience. I love the property and the staff is helpful and friendly. Thanks!

We stayed in a camping cabin and used this as our base to visit Valley Forge and Amish Country. It was a great location and easy to get to both places. The campground was quiet and peaceful, with many trees to shield us from the sun. We always look for a KOA when we are traveling because we know they will be clean and well kept.

The staff at the Philadelphia/West Chester KOA have hosted Audenried High School's annual Life Skills camping trip for three years. Their team has been outstanding in accommodating us and providing us with a fantastic experience each year. The grounds are clean, inviting, and peaceful. They give our young people the memorable outdoors experience they look forward to all year long.

Beautiful place, clean and lots of things to do ! Just be mindful of the people you put in the front desk. There are some super nice, but there was a teenager that was not too friendly and a little sarcastic when I asked her some questions. Just a suggestion since everyone else was super helpful and kind !

It's a beautiful place and our site is quiet and woodsy

We had a wonderful stay. Great staff, clean grounds, awesome store. The pool was great as well. My only suggestion would be that you put a "Closed" sign on the pool door that you don't want people to use (by the Lodge). So many people went to that gate to get in and were not able to. A sign would alleviate that. We will stay again.

Best KOA ever!!!

BIG RIGS BEWARE. ONLY Approach this KOA from the north. It is a nice enough place, folks are great. If your height is anywhere near 13' you will be hitting more branches than you can believe. Even the side over growth was excessive, we were crossing the double yellow on the narrow roads to protect the sides of the RV. Smaller RVs will have no problem. Enjoy!

Loved the place. Bathrooms need some updates. Our spot was on a hill so our stuff kept rolling down, I wish there was a platform or something. Otherwise very clean and everyone was very kind.

This was our first time at this koa and I don’t think it lived up to being a holiday. The campground is on a fairly large hill, the spaces are tight and not very level. The events were lacking compared to our usual experience at a koa and overall it was dated. It’s not a bad place if you need somewhere to go (we did) last minute but I would not plan on staying at this location in the future.

nice people, like the camp sires. Bathrooms where terrible and unclean.

We were surprised at the road leading to this campground. Very narrow and windy for several miles. The cable and wifi may have been free, but good luck getting either to work well. The area around the office was very congested and narrow. The staff were all friendly and the pool looked nice.

We loved the site we stayed (platform glamping tent in a secluded area). It was beautiful and secluded. It was a bit noisy. There was a campsite right below us so it could be loud at night. Also the kiddy splash pool had no water in it on Saturday which was disappointing since we have a small child and it was hot all weekend. The staff was friendly and overall we had a good time and will come back

Enjoyed our stay and a site by the river. The arrival was welcoming with a camp employee leading us to our spot, the store is well stocked and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

I greatly appreciated the last minute opportunity to stay here. Holiday weekend and all. However, I was really disappointed with the tent spaces. They were on the side of the hill right in the middle of all of the RVs. I didn't sleep well and, in fact, left the campground early, in part because of the accomodations, in part due to the impending bad weather.

The people in the office were wonderful. The store was nicely stocked. The swimming pool looked awesome but was closed during our visit. Our biggest complaint was the site. Though the size was more than adequate, we had a very difficult time leveling our 38-foot class A due to the downward slope. We would need a different site if we were to return.

Going in the off season, we had the site and creek to ourselves. Amy was amazing with me and my grandkids, and I can't wait to bring my husband and dog next time. Thanks so much!

We had a nice time, it was cold, and experiencing in a 3 season tent was interesting. My opinion on the KOA : The front desk ladies were nice, all the Staff is friendly and checks up daily. The location is clean, and very quiet, on the off seasons. My concerns they want to check into: Please have a separate washing machine for people pets products.(-all the washing machine had pet hair and other pet stuff in all the washers. It was gross. I washed my clothes at a family washing machine down the road. Second: the tent sites are on uneven footing on top of the hill, not recommended for large tents. Perfect for small Rvs, and small 2 people tents. It's rock ground(gravel) mixed with grass. And watch your footing you will hit rocks. I tripped at least 2 times. And it's a walk to the bathrooms. Nice view of the stars and you have to be careful because a little walk behind the campsite it drops into a gorge (train tracks) deep fall. You have visited from deer and squirrels and rabbits. Hope you like roosters they will wake you up early morning. But on the lower levels, by the water it was peaceful. Very much dirt barely grass. But flat nice for large tents and families. Only down fall. I would put a bathroom down on the lower levels near the water. It will bring more visitors and you have room to put one there, because it is a long drive to the one bathroom . The end of the driveway down the hill needs to be fixed it has a sharp edge on the bottom right side near the forest edge, you do have river otters and beavers, lot of carp, but small amounts of small fish. Very shallow in some areas and you do have to have a Pa fishing licenses. Farm across the river. Very nice and pleasant. I would stay here again but on warmer days.

A small and beautiful campground. We were there off-season, so not much going on eventwise but very peaceful. Nice walking! Staff was nice and helpful. We would go back.
