We really enjoyed the camping experience and the staff was SO helpful. The camp was clean and if we had any questions, we were able to get answers in a quick manner. My dad wanted to see the creek below and had trouble walking and the staff took him down on the golf cart. They definitely went the extra mile!

The employees at this location made our stay perfect. Everyone in the camp store and the campgrounds went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and then some. They always said hello and greeted you with a smile. All of them looked like they enjoyed their job. I made it a point to stop and thank them on my way out. They should be commended. :)

Hornet nest above campsite, hornets buzzing grandkids. Reported to 2 different attendants and was told talk to Bob , but he’s not here. Water pressure was nothing but a dribble. Road access is very poor. All roads have a 25 ft limit and was not made aware of this. I pull a 32ft trailer.

Roads leading to park very windy and tight for a class A rig. The camp site next to us hired some one to pressure wash their rig and they started a gas driven pressure washer at 8:10 in the morning, woke us up, very loud and it ran for several hours. Several people complained, management said it was okay because quiet hour ended at 8 am

We’ve been coming to KOA this location since 1982! We’ve had some really great times! Last weekend was fun. I just feel like it’s going downhill a bit…. Bathrooms were not clean. Cabins all have holes in the screens which they’ve had for the past few years. I think it needs a little sprucing up.

Staff was very nice and friendly. Camp grounds were clean and spacious. I would only stay there again if I had too. The bathrooms were far for the not full hook ups. The showers were at the far end of the full hook up area. Which to me is dumb. There was issues that were resolved right away by staff. I do believe it’s the staff that makes the place.

Bathroom knob & outdoor chair broken. Bathroom was a little moldy and pool had a ton of bugs in the morning. Grill was missing so we couldn’t cook certain food. Told the front desk, and all they did was apologize. Propane grill was a little dangerous when first started, have to take cover every time when igniting. Also saw a roach twice in the kitchen. Also wished they at least had pillows

All and all we liked our stay. The road getting to the campground was a bit of a challenge. Some of the interior roads were a bit rough as well. Wish we had made time to swim in that beautiful pool.

Our stay was just for overnight and we arrived late in the evening so we were unable to take advantage of some of the amenities. However, swimming pool looked inviting and access to the river with canoes looked good. I would say that the bathrooms need some updatingas they were deteriorating. Overall, I thought it was a good place to stay.

We come to this KOA every year to continue a tradition that our father started over 40 years ago. We rent approximately 10-12 cabins each year. (In the early year we rented tent sights.). The last couple of years we couldn’t help but notice that things are not as maintained as they have been in the past. Many family members are looking into other campgrounds for next year. It’s heartbreakin

We have been going to this KOA for many years and unfortunately it really started going downhill. The pool was dirty, the bathrooms were never cleaned the small trash cans in the women’s stalls were over flowing with trash. When I was trying to check in there was only 1 person working while 2 others just stood there.

Our first time at this KOA and we had a great time. Brought our 8 year old grandson and he had a blast gem mining, swimming at the pool and fishing (caught 18 Sunny and bass in the creek! ). The entire staff were very helpful and friendly. Hilly and woodsy so sure felt like a far cry from Philly- which is where my grandson told his parents’ friends he was going camping and got some odd looks.

Site needs a little work to improve the ability to level a large coach. Site was very narrow due to the hill on the drivers side. Tree's need timing to clear bigger rig heights. Lawn was ankle high, and needed to be mowed. Staff was nice. Biggest problem is the Owners need to work with their local Highway Dept to bring tree branches hanging over road into height compliance. I will not return

I love everything about this campground but one thing! It's lovely and cozy, with a nice pool and activities and proximity to a sizable, paddle-able section of Brandywine Creek. Staff are friendly and helpful. As with most KOAs, the dust from unpaved and under-graveled roads can be quite heavy. Would surely be messy in the rain as well.

Our site (110) was really uneven and it took a lot of time to get the trailer in and level. We asked to move to the site next to us but were denied even though it was empty the entire time we were there. It seems that the campsites near the water are pretty much ignored by the staff. Two other groups had dogs that were let run loose and one barked ALL NIGHT - again nothing was done.

Great campground & very friendly staff. Extremely quiet. The only issue was getting in & out of the park. Very narrow & curvey roads for my class A pulling a pickup

We were disappointed with our experience. Mini golf in shambles, pool need to be skimmed, had to ask multiple times about activities, had to ask the about the movie 5 minutes after it was supposed start. Had to ask about wood that was supposed to be delivered 2x. Had to ask about hornets nest to be handle 2x. Microwave dirty. Ants all over the porch. So much potential, but underutilized.

Great campground with lots of water activities. Be prepared for a lot of walking up and down hills to the pool, store, any activity.

I would give the KOA 5 stars but we noticed above our campsite a huge hornets nest, we thought we should tell the owners. They already knew about the nest and have done nothing about removing it from the site. Very disappointing. If you get site 41, ask them if they removed the hornets nest. If they have not ask for new site.

The cabin needs some tlc! The back porch was not swept- bugs were eating away at siding. The floor did jot appear to be swept, and cabin had a weird smell to it. Location was nice. Campground could use some care.

nice people, nice store, nice amenities, mostly nice sites.......we were in #37 which was much too close to the adjacent sites.... no privacy. we will be back though, at a more secluded site.

We had a great visit. Friendly staff and good amenities. Was surprised by the poor state of the mini golf compared with everything else. It needs a full rehab but even a little tidying up would be welcome.

Many sites are tiny and close together, making the enjoyment of your stay dependent on whether your neighbors have, e.g., yapping dogs, multiple vehicles crowding the area, and think playing music is a public service. The pool is nice, though, and the creek scenic.

The West Chester KOA is very nice and clean. We rented Deluxe Cabin L5 and we were pleased with our accommodations but several of the window shades were broken and couldn't be raised. Other than that, it was very nice and I'm sure we'll go back again.

Facilities were clean and neat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only two concerns: 1. We arrived at 1:00 and were willing to pay for early arrival, but previous occupant was still on site- If you charge for early arrival, you should charge for late departing. 2. During the severe storms at night I was concerned about 3/4 dead tree across from our site. Very pleased with stay at you

We had a very nice stay. We did canoe. It was very hard getting the canoes in and out of the water. If there was a concrete ramp it would’ve been a lot easier. I don’t think we will be canoeing next year. Also the prices for the ice cream was a little steep for the amount of ice cream that you got.

The lower rating was simply due to the ticks we encountered. While I know it is camping, we’ve not run into issues anywhere else. There are several remedies, including planting species that deter ticks.

Nice area and my site was great. Bathrooms were pretty outdated and the cable never worked. Did notify office of no cable but stayed 7 days and never resolved.

Very nice park. Efficient and friendly staff. Really pretty area. The park has a nice creek and the sites were large a private. Will certainly be back again.

Family vibe. I was down because my jeep-camper broke down on the way, I got yelled at where it broke down and the staff made me feel better. I had to book 3 sights for my upcoming birthday. Thanks to caring staff.
