Good amenities, beautiful campgrounds, roads are not the best (potholes) for a large class A rig (once you get up the hill). The public road to get to the park was windy and narrow for a large class A coach.

Stayed there in a tent, in a Pop up and now a cabin.Cabin upgrade that other campgrouds have, would be to add a small refrigerator, a table light and an outdoor outlet. The bathrooms are nice, but the sink faucets are set to give you just 3 seconds of water! Have to constantly hit it, the FDA says we should wash our hands for at least 60 seconds. Add HOT water to sinks! Need to shave.

It's not the easiest to get to. Bath house was really nice and the rest of the amenities looked really good but we didn't get a chance to use them.

The roads on the property need work. Huge potholes and a lot of erosion. However, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff are great. Friendly, helpful. I love that there is a creek on the property and we can bring our kayaks. There’s lots to see and do in the area. Improve the roads and I would give it a 10.

We've been staying at this campground since the '90s and have always had a great experience. Weather didn't fully cooperate but in spite of that we had a tremendous time. Lodge has obviously had a makeover which was great! Everything was well cared for and immaculate! we didn't make the Mushroom Festival and Longwood Gardens was shut down, but we'll try again next year and stay here.

I have been coming to this koa for at least 10 years. It might be nicer if they would improve the campground roads.

Staff is always so friendly and helpful. The grounds are taken care of and the store has what you need. We always hate leaving but are relaxed when we do.

We stayed in a luxury cabin at Philadelphia/ West Chester KOA. It was the nicest and most will equipped cabin we have ever stayed-in at any campground. The campground had a beautiful pool area with plenty of seating. We also enjoyed fishing on the Brandywine River. The staff was friendly and htave great local recommendations.

Great tent site by the river . It was fun to just chill. Stayed just a night but would definitely want to come back.

Facilities were nicely maintained, but people were a problem. Two owners with off-leash dogs, roaming other campsites. One campsite played techno constantly outside of quiet hours, sharing bass across the campground. An employee entered our campsite without alerting us, never explained why, and complained that our tethered dog ran barking at him, when he was walking up behind me with no warning.

The kids had a blast! We loved our river tent site ! So much wildlife! We saw turtles, frogs, fish, geese, and other birds. The kids loved gem mining and the playground! Can’t wait to come back !

Tent camping on site 117 along the brandywine creek. Fished all day place was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great stay at Kia.

As a whole, we really liked this KOA. The staff was friendly and helpful and all the amenities were well taking care of. What was immensely disappointment was the nearby group of 20+ campers that played loud rave music throughout the day and night. They literally had a large speaker set-up and the base emanated throughout the campground. It was excessively loud and nothing was done about it.

This KOA is well maintained and in a nice location. Perfect little getaway spot for us. I recommend taking your own kayak but canoes are available to rent but limited to an hour time slot. It’s nice to be able to get right into the creek from the campground.

Employee Louise raised her voice at my child and I on 2 of our 3 days stay. She screamed at us for using the bathroom before taking the canoe we had rented out (wasting time she alleged), then screamed at us for trying to buy a piece of candy on our way out because it was a few minutes after checkout time (we checked out well before). People stared in disbelief and we were in tears from her abuse!

Roads getting in were terrible, even though they sent out a text with route #’s to follow it didn’t help. Even though we have RV trip wizard it didn’t help. Our grandsons loved the amenities, the sites were one of the best we have had this Summer. Once you get there it’s a joy! I have been a this KOA a number of times over the past year. Because I have a 30 amp camper van I usually take sites 64 thru 67. My main complaint is that the cable TV does NOT come thru. I have even checked it with a outside portal. Only static screen .Since that is the only site I can comfortable use, because of size of van, privacy and shading I am disappointed that cable does not work.

I love this campground. Unfortunately, it was a very busy weekend, campsites were PACKED full. It definitely was a party weekend, there was loud hooting, hollering, music until well after 11pm. And then at that time people started walking through our campsite!? Three groups came through with flashlights and chatting. A sign below the site could be helpful to show its a campsite. We didn't sleep :(

I will never stay here again and possibly at a KOA ever again. The space next to us, checked in at 10:15 at night and kept their headlights on until after midnight. The site next to ours stole the water jugs. The entire lower area near the river was a party until well after 1:30 am. I told the staff when I checked out. They said they can’t do anything about it. This is our second time at this site and we love it! There is plenty for kids to do, and it is very dog-friendly. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. We will definitely be back!

the safari tent was nice and clean. biggest issue was that the tent is close to road and you hear every car/truck, motorcycle pass at all hours. also there was construction across the street which was also close proximity to the tents and they were hammering and making plenty of noise before 7am. The KOA was very nice, I just won't be going back.

I was charged $25 for an early check in even though the site was OPEN. This is Price Gouging and a Horrible policy. I have never been charged for early check in when the site was Open! I had to pay $2 extra for the site that was Further away from the activities and was a back in site vs. a pull through site. I was not given any reason why I had to pay $2 extra for a “less desirable” site. Angr

Wonderful....almost perfect. It was our first time there and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Great accommodations, great and helpful staff, wonderful and very appropriate and cute activities for my young granddaughters.... I can't say enough. We are spreading the word with friends and family and are planning on returning, for sure!!!

The grounds was very clean and the bathroom also. Everyone was very nice and helpful at all time. The gem mining table water stop running. They came right over and fixed it. Will be back again soon.

Grass was not cut, there was cable, but all of the channels were not watchable, (very, very, snowy). I called the office and advised them of it, their response was “we’ll look into it”, that was the last I heard from them and it was not fixed. Also on the same phone call, I advised them that I had been charged a $10 “pick your site” fee, which I did not do. Again, their response was

Roads were washed out. Grass was not cut. A fell tree was blocking the nature trail path. Woman working in the office made ignorant policies statements out loud.

Had a wonderful visit. This KOA offers some great views via scenic Chester County. The staff were beyond nice and helpful. We will be returning for an extended stay in the near future.
