Grounds are uneven for parking. Roads to get to the park are very narrow country roads that are heavily traveled. Staff had no knowledge of area attractions, tours etc. Not a park for big rigs I would not highly recommend it

Pleasant staff and clean facilities. Found the store to be grossly overpriced-almost $4 for a lousy small cup of coffee is ripping off your customers.

Was a little disappointed the web and your site map state tours but you don’t! Also no one seemed to know about the train system and running seeing as you don’t do tours to get in and out of Philadelphia

Entering park, looked great. Posted 5 mph. Had to speed to keep up w/escort to site. Very difficult to navigate site. NOT Level. Escorts gave NO help. Sat & watched as I almost backed into the tree. Useless! Bath house-never used-looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Very difficult roads to get to this location. Won't be back- big disappointment-expected more as a KOA like others

We arrived late, but found everything we needed for getting into our cabins. The staff had thankfully turned on the AC for us, as it had been a hot and sticky day. The cabin was clean, and the mattress was so comfortable! The grounds were lovely, and the pool and bathrooms were both clean and well kept. We wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy your beautiful campground!

Unbeatable location if you’re looking for an escape to nature not far from the city. The roads to the campground are a challenge for a larger RV coming from any direction. The lower bathhouse was often in need of attention during our stay. It seems beyond its useful life and needs to be replaced.

We had 4 premium campsites beside the river and the sites and playgrounds were excellent. Everyone complained about the walk to the restrooms, especially, the elderly that were in our group. The restroom floors were often muddy - they need to be cleaned more frequently. Kids movie was for 7:30p but started at 7pm and kids were super disappointed. Canoe rental was the highlight and we enjoyed it!

As a monthly rv camper for over two years, giving no trouble at all, and my partner working for them for over a year. You would think I could get a call back from them after I left a note stating how I was overcharged twice! I know they got the note as we are friends with workers there still. The fact they haven't reached out is insulting and bad business.

The camp site was fine and the staff were nice but the washrooms were very dirty. Stayed for 5 days and had not been cleaned.

Stayed 3 nights, very nice grounds. Men’s bathroom/shower house was in pretty rough shape & needs to be cleaned more often, but otherwise a nice property.

This was our first time at KOA and it was fantastic. Gives the feel of real camping in the woods with the resort feel. The store us fantastic and the staff is amazing. Only things we didn't like were that we had site 103 which put us on a hill and the bathrooms weren't very clean. However we will definitely be back. We joined the KOA rewards also.

Second time staying and enjoyed this visit better than the first one. More activities for the kids. The cabins are great, but, tent camping is the way to go.

Nice sites, Clean, paved roads,,staff was friendly and helpful.. a bit noisy with Amusement park nextdoor, fireworks @ 10 pm and Freight train going by, but that's what people are there for. If you are looking for nature based camping, prob not be the best! Def recommended for families visiting Kimge Domonion and for quick stop if overnighting.

We’ve been camping for over 40 years and this was a top 5 camping experience. The site was great, clean and well maintained. The canoes were fun and reasonably priced! The kids loved the playground, especially the bounce pad. The office/store staff was very helpful and very courteous. We enjoyed the 4/5 night discount - one night free discount program. We have been here three times. We love it!

Spent 2 nights in luxury lodge, very nice accommodation. Would do it again. Staff very friendly. Enjoyed canoeing and mini golf with grand children and also bounce mat.

Definitely NOT a KOA Holiday! Site slopes away from sewer pipe…wheels off ground to level RV. Bathrooms(need upgraded) & up or downhill & too far from pool. Mini-golf is small, old, broken concrete borders. No one pulling weeds that are everywhere, but riding golf karts. Dirty playground equipment…swept off so kids could play.

this campground really needs some attention, the bathhouses are dirty, ( why go to the bath house when your in your camper?) well thats because the water pressure is less then 10 psi and has minimal flow, the sites are nearly all washed away, from rain and poor water diversion, we stay all over the country for work in koa's and this is by far the least attractive site to return to

I really wanted to give a 5. Everyone we spoke with was professional, warm, and helpful. The staff was great! I can't give a 5 because the men's room was never clean when I went in. I know it's hard to keep up with, but there was soap only occasionally in one of the dispensers, the paper towels were empty, and the floor was often covered in mud. In addition, the WiFi never worked.

Nice little getaway from the urban sprawl. Loved waking up to the sounds of birds and water! The camping cabin is lacking a fridge and microwave, which is the only drawback.

This campground may be off the beaten path, but it is lovely! If you have a larger rig (greater than 35 feet) maneuvering may be a bit challenging, but the campground is lovely and worth it! The lightning bugs were paid actors, I’m convinced. Loved the show every night!!

Quite a hot weather visit, pool was crystal clear and refreshing. Grounds were in good order with attention being paid to raking the sites after campers left by the crew. Bathroom near or site 25 you could smell that it was clean before even entering the building. Well stocked store with exception of the nearly sold out ice cream stand, guess they had a big weekend.

The sites are extremely tight and not as wooded as I thought. Sharing a site with another family was the only reason we had adequate space to enjoy the experience. We felt cramped and on top of other families. There are a lot of things to do there for kids and that’s why I would recommend it to families.

The location is really tough because it is really in the middle of nowhere. The sites are OK but we have a 45 foot fifth wheel and we had a small back in spot in the corner that was hard to get in to. Also, the worst part of the campground is that the bathrooms were VERY dirty and were missing soap and toilet paper as well. I am not planning to return but most of the staff was nice and friendly.

Beautiful to camp by the Brandywine River. We met lots of nice people from around the country.Tent and cabin groups camping near us on the hill had been burning found branches and sticks in the evening in their fire rings which produced a lot of thick smoke in the air. Boyscouts fishing and older couples rocking on camp chairs as we walked our dogs was very nice. The sunset was lovely.

Nice pool. Dirty bathrooms/showers. No water pressure. Some sites to close together. Unusable Lodge for activities. Charge to play mini golf and rent a canoe. Bad signage leading you to campground on very narrow roads. Not notified of power outage. Your generator was loud and did not power the bathrooms.

Unclean, bugs running around, which caused me and my daughter to get bitten by something. We had to leave. It was in a good location but that’s about it.

Went on a little weekend camping trip and really loved this place. It's super small compared to most campgrounds we've been to, but it was perfect so our daughter could roam with her friends without us worrying. The office staff was amazing, sites were clean, they even delivered the fire wood. Prices inside the store were reasonable, bathrooms were clean. I did feel the price for the stay itself was a little high compared to similar places we've stayed. It was a "holiday" (halloween) weekend, but still about double what we're used to. Overall it was a great experience. It's gotta be even better when the pool is open!

This is a beautiful campground once you get to it. Embreeville rd is a nightmare with a larger unit. We have 41 ft fifth wheel and our GPS was saying the whole time 25 ft limit. You can make it with a larger unit but don't recommend it. Staff is very good but won't do that road again. Shame it's a nice place.
