The route to this campground is NOT big rig friendly. While the KOA may not have control over the roads and trees, they should be up front about the fact that a big rig will have a hard time getting to this campground. The campground itself had new management and even though I called twice, they did not know about route suitability for big rigs.

I usually don’t write bad reviews, but this KOA should NOT be considered a Holiday. Directions in from front desk had a 13’4" rv going under a 12’ bridge! Took over an hour to get to campground. Roads in campground extremely narrow and not built for large trailers. Sites were not level, and all the amenities that make this a holiday were closed when we stayed there. Very quiet, but not a rep

Only one night, but the campground was beautiful and peaceful. Our site was ideal—shady and set back a bit from the road. Would like to stay again after the bridge is repaired.

I don’t give excellent ratings very often, but your KOA is first rate: large sites, peaceful breezy site right next to the creek, with spotless modern bath and shower facilities. I appreciate the extra hour that was needed to evacuate the site.

We always enjoy staying here. Property is always very clean. Bathrooms are spotless! They used to do a wine and cheese event that was a lot of fun, that's my only minor complaint that it was missed.

The campground was quiet and clean! Only complaints I have are small...they listed the one craft activity as free on their site and on the flyer they gave when we checked in but when we went to sign up it was a $5 charge pp...also the bogo icecream was limited to 1 free scoop for the entire family, the flyer didn't say that so for a family of 4 it was more like buy 3 get 1. nickel and dime stuff.

Sites unlevel, road to campground full of low hanging trees, Took 3 days for manager to return my call. We had a group of 7 rvs not one of us would return.

With the bridge out there are no good approach roads for big rigs. Trees are not trimmed and hit the roof over and over. Narrow roads and terrible signage make navigation a nightmare. Go elsewhere. Our site had low branches that rested ON our roof. The campground said they would come to trim them back and never showed up to do it. The sites are on hills and not level. We expected better.

Nice campground. Route to arrive many low trees and winding roads. Site was on a slope. Rear tires off ground to level. Cable was poor. Over air better, limited channels.

Lovely being by the creek. The areas to walk around are awesome. Loved to rent the canoe.... Very fun.

The outlet just inside the door in cabin K8 was not working. I notified a worker inside the store, so I'm saying it here again in hopes that it will get addressed for the next renter. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay, as I always do.

Site was very unlevel - most of them are. Store is good, but staff not as friendly as previous owners. The ice cream deal is a joke - limit of one item free. Not right if you have a family of more, very misleading. The price is not with what you get.

The camp store associate went above and beyond to make sure the kids could have their "lollipop flashlight" event! Her efforts were top notch! Nice, well maintained campground.

We had a wonderful time, the staff is very friendly and the campground is very clean and well run. There are lots of things to do in the local area.

I was visiting the area for my 50 class reunion. It campground is wonderful. Very clean. Sites are spacious. Did not get to use the amities. Will definitely come back. Close to my family

Beautiful campground. Nice camp store but very expensive. Only thing is the pressure on people to leave at the stroke of noon. Driving past sites constantly even when you see people are hooked up to leave.

We had a nice stay. Check-in was fast and friendly. The cabin was clean. They had some short activities for the kids. My only complaint was the bathrooms were not cleaned and stocked. They were clean in the morning, but should have been done again later in the day. Mud was all over the floor and the paper towel dispenser was empty. Minor issues, but that would have made the stay 5 stars.

This was my first time at a KOA camp ground. It was a good experience. The young women who setup my reservation at the desk was very nice and informative. Looking forward to checking out more locations in travel. Thank you!

Great experience that could be improved by a truly level site. Had to reposition our class A three times to get a level spot.

Stayed in one of the Deluxe cabins (handicapped) with my mother. Everything was wonderful. My only glitch was the parking area in front of the cabin was large gravel, and was very hard for my mother to navigate with her walker. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great campground, had great time. Been visiting last 3 years. Met new people. Bridge out still a pain, visited Kennett Square and West Chester. Tow vehicle on detour roads tight and rough. Lobby for Bridge repair! Thanks

I believe this KOA site was one of the nicest sites we have been in. The campground was perfect for our 2 grandkids that were traveling with us. The place is very clean with lots for the kiddos to do!

The KOA was quiet clean and well maintained by the staff. Only negative was that in order to get there had to travel in a narrow country road for miles and tree branches were striking the top of our motor coach.

The cable at our site was bad and the new owners let us know that they made a call to get it looked at but it was a holiday weekend and did not happen while we were there. Other sites had very nice clear cable showing on their tv's as we walked by. Thankful we have a DVD player and could play movies for the kids in the evening.

Had a wonderful visit. This KOA offers some great views via scenic Chester County. The staff were beyond nice and helpful. We will be returning for an extended stay in the near future.
