we only stayed one night after a long stressful drive. walked my dog, used the dog park. really didn't use the beautiful pool, or any of the other great amenities. the shower facility could have been cleaner and the site was a challenge to level our rig. so, not good, not bad.

Myself and my family have been there numerous times. Always a sure bet. The store is well equipped but i always feel like the items are a little overpriced for the average person. I had a friend with me that was going to get his 4 grandkids some keep sakes but decided not to saying things seemed expensive. Do not get me wrong. Your place has to make a profit absolutely. Looking fwd to next trip

We had a faulty water spigot at site 37. Please replace so that others can safely turn on and off the water at that site.

Very friendly staff. Check.i. Was easy and the escort to our site was very helpful. We had a nice pull-thru with beautiful afternoon shade. The only negative was the water pressure-- it was almost non-existent. Taking a shower was not great but worse was there was barely enough pressure to flush the toilet- even just toilet paper!! It was very frustrating.

We had a nice site down by the river overlooking the farm. That area could use some improvement with grass area around the sites. We came in from the north and left going south. The road to the south is white knuckle ride with a large RV.

Very hilly campground with uneven sites. WiFi was unreliable and water pressure was terrible. It’s also in a secluded area with narrow roads, hard to drive a big rig.

terrible campground, for 117$ i would expect the site to be level, don't care about being on a slope, I've been to others on similar ground that were fine, there's equipment for that

The staff was very responsive to issues. The grass hadn’t been cut prior to our stay so we asked them to cut it and they immediately sent someone up to cut it. The water pressure was extremely erratic and low, making it impossible to use our shower so we had to fill our tank and use our own pump to maintain water pressure. Also the pool was not open despite the outdoor temperature being 90 F.

We arrived a little earlier than expected and even though they didn’t have to do anything extra and the site was ready they charged me $25.00 for checking in early. So if we ever get back to the area we won’t be staying there.

I've been going to this campground for many years and I have turned a lot of people on to your campground. I don't care much for the extra charge for choosing a particular site. This started after the new ownership. People choose a site because they have been coming there for years and they know the lay of the land. This is kind of petty and not very good business toward steady customers.

Wanted to do the gem mining, others did as well on a Saturday evening, but it was shut down at 7? Most KOAs we stay at the mini golf is free. Granted it was only a dollar, just strange to us.

Great camping site! Loved being next to the river. There were a ton of geese so there was quite a bit of honking. Also the closest bathroom was up a descent hill so be prepared lol. Amenities were great and the facility was very clean.

We love this KOA! It is pretty expensive compared to other campgrounds but it's ok, our kids love it. We were annoyed by a lot of kids in the campground running around with loud orange popping guns, and then we realized that they are sold in the camp store. I'd recommend they not sell those because it really disturbs the peace. The mini golf and fishing and boating was great. Thank you!

There was a large Asian Family staying two tent sites over. There had to be 5 tents in one campsite. They also had zero awareness of boundaries. The kids and adults ran through my campsite all day and night. At one point I was cooking over the fire and was startled when an asian man was standing over my shoulder watching me cook. Terrible experience due to that family. Rough night

The staff were excellent. I came there upset because my jeeo-camper broke down in the way and they took great care of me, that I booked 3 sites to come there for my birthday. Such a family vibe.

This is a beautiful rustic campground. The staff was friendly and helpful. The WIFI was bad. Part of the reason we stay at so many KOAs is because the WIFI is usually dependable. Not so here.

Basically the cabin was my base camp to sleep at night with my 2 dogs. I was visiting my friends & family after having moved out of the area a year ago. I love that the campground allows dogs in the cabin. We did get to walk around the campground trail and down near the water. . The campground staff was friendly. I look forward to returning for another visit.

Everything was perfect except on the day we were packing up to come home and employee was mowing across from our site and his zero turn was throwing rocks. Two of the rocks hit and dented the hood of our truck. You could hear the rocks being thrown. He should have waited or raised up the mower deck.

No mention of narrow roads and sharp turns on roads into campground. Poor directions on website. Should have directions from / to Lancaster. Water pressure was terrible!!! Said they are fixing broken pipe but found reviews on other sites stating water has been this way since Nov 2025.

Staff was friendly and our site was private. We were surprised the store closed as early as it did on Saturday evening - it was closed when we went to buy some firewood before it had even gotten dark out.

This location is always great. Staff is friendly and campground is clean. The only thing that I would have liked is the hot water option in the bathroom sinks to wash my hands/face/brush teeth. The showers have only one handle and even with it at max hot it's still not really hot. In a large drafty bathroom that makes the shower a little uncomfortable. I would stay again though as I love this site

I travel a lot and choose KOA because I work remotely and decent WiFi is important. This place has no decent WiFi and no plans to upgrade. Otherwise it’s a decent place with good people. But I do not recommend it unless you plan to go off grid. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained.

If you have a big rig, Before arriving, call and get better directions from the office. There is a bridge out in one of the main roads and some of the map apps may route you on country roads.

Arrived was placed in a pull thru with a pull thru buddy site next to me, had 2 other couples that I was traveling with and they were side by side in pull thru sites but I was placed in a buddy site with a stranger Didn’t make any sense

People were friendly, campground was nice. Bathhouses were clean. Good location. Never stayed at a KOA before. Was a little bit expensive, but overall, happy with the experience.

Family vibe. I was down because my jeep-camper broke down on the way, I got yelled at where it broke down and the staff made me feel better. I had to book 3 sights for my upcoming birthday. Thanks to caring staff.
