We weee simply staying overnight on our was from southern VA to MA. It clean and well kept. Everyone working there that we met was friendly, kind, and welcoming. All the campers must’ve felt the same way because everyone was saying hello and have a good day. Access to the site was great and the signage was significant enough, but also very tastefully done. (It’s near a neighborhood.

The sewer connection was on the neighbor's site. There was no container for recycling. The pool water was cloudy.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your review. I think you must be thinking of another campground. All our sites have their own sewer connections. We have 10 recycle bins and our pool is checked three times a day by our staff and twice a week by an independent company for its quality. Regards.

Very clean park with generous sites and plenty of staff. I would recommend that the bikes etc that they rent get tall flags, it’s not easy to see the kids riding around as you drive through the park.

We stayed in a pet friendly deluxe cabin over the very hot July 4th, America 250th weekend. My family enjoyed the A/C, eat-in kitchen, full-size refrigerator & gas grill. Very nicely appointed overlooking the fishing pond, perfect for 2 couples. Enjoyed the pool too! Close to Patco's Woodcrest Station, not far from campground to 8th & Market St Philly. Close to Liberty Bell and Independence Hall.

As a 6-year KOA Rewards member, I was disappointed that our family was charged a $106 cleaning fee despite leaving our cabin clean and organized. We received inconsistent explanations, including unrelated noise complaints, and another camping family, plus a day visitor were also charged. The lack of documentation and transparency left us feeling unfairly treated and very disappointed.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your review. After 10 years at this campground there has only ever been one other time where a guest has been charged for extra cleaning. Our opinions on cleanliness of cabins obviously differ. All daily guests are charged during summer months. Regards.

40' 5th Wheel Toy Hauler. Site 18. Full sun. Length was short, had to park tow vehicle off-site. Width was narrow. Couldn’t use the fire ring as too close to neighbor’s vehicle. Other sites seemed larger, and partial shade. Roads easy to navigate. Full hook-ups all good. The campground is beautiful and well maintained, facilities were very clean. Nice walking the dogs. Nice Staff.

Great place, we will be back. A little sad the bounce area was down but we still enjoyed ourselves. Bathroom was very clean and well kept. Staff are helpful and happy.

Our 2nd time visiting- the pond was flooded from the storm but the guys worked all day pumping out the water so that was good. Our AC unit in cabin 305 wasn’t working well - needs fixed. But overall we like the campground and amenities.

The facilities were clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The only things that we didnt like was that the pool was to small for the ammount of people and the showers we tiny.

The campground was very clean and the people were helpful. The sites are very narrow. We had to pull our RV up on the patio because the site was so narrow and then while eating at the picnic table, we were right next to the next site overs sewer line. It is a great stop over because of its proximity to the highway.

Nice campground but I wish the pool and jump pad would stay open later. They closed at 7 and we don’t ever arrive at camps til after 7 when on road trips so there was no point for us to pay extra for this Koa vs another camp.

Nice clean park! Very cute. Request a site in the back of the park. It’s very beautiful there. Big K9 park.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Decent pool and nice laundry facilities

The campground is nice with easy navigation through it. Fortunately we had a few trees around us for shade as it was very hot. Many sites were in full blazing sun. Our activities were limited in the area due to Mother Nature; 102 degrees or torrential rainfalls. Sites were clean and relatively level with good fhu. Bathrooms were clean but my boat shower was bigger than these showers.

Only there for a night but it’s a beautiful park and we were able to get some laundry done.

We had the deluxe camping site. It feels tucked away and was very quiet. The restrooms were a short walk away, clean, and cool inside. Our only regret is that our schedule didn't let us fully enjoy the site.

We love KOAs for our RV stays. Whether large or small, we've found them to be well run, well maintained, great staff, and great amenities.

Calm relaxing enviornment, felt safe. I had trouble sleeping the air conditioner was loud and cause the bed to vibrate a bit. I did wish the pond still lit up at night. However i imagined that it may disturb the tent campers.

We were not informed that the cable TV connections were removed. To my mind, this is NOT full hook ups.

Had a great time with our adult children. Perfect place for multigenerational vacations.

Overall a nice campground. Nice sites and nice staff. One night, during our visit, they had something happening under the pavilion (koa ran or rented to a customer, doesn't matter) and music could be heard playing from their speakers throughout the campground. I was sitting outside trying to enjoy peace and quiet until the music started, for a good 30 plus minutes. That should not be allowed for any reason, forcing others to participate in your activities. If I have music on, it's only for me to hear, not my neighbors. Wished the campground would have stopped it.

Stayed here during a trip to Philadelphia. Took about 20-30 mins from the campground to our destinations in Philadelphia. Our site was decently long (fit our 27' trailer and the truck) and a pull through but holy smokes it was thin! Our site class was “Value” so that is probably why because they had plenty of other sites that were much bigger and nicer. They called it a Value site like 5 times during check in so I'm assuming they wanted to stress that for when we got to our site. Our “Value” site had just enough space for a picnic table which was very close to our camper and the camper next to us. If we were hang out outside people this would not have been great, but for us it was perfect. After checking in, a worker in a golf cart escorted us to our site. Camp store was very small, mostly KOA souvenirs and kids toys, some cold drink options. $5 min for credit cards. Campground overall seemed small compared to others, so a small store made sense. Has normal amenities (pool, rec room, laundry, etc) but the real winner here is the dog park. It is HUGE! We live on 1/4 acre and I'm pretty sure this fenced dog area is close to that size, maybe bigger. Tall fence all the way around and plenty of room to run. Our dog is not very dog-friendly but highly active, so the smaller campground and usually empty dog park was 100% amazing! If I was planning a trip out this way again, I would absolutely stay here again.
