Campground Reviews

Our stay was fine but you should know that this site is packed. Right up on the RV next to you.

There for a through-stop for a 12 hour stay. Clarksboro KOA didn't disappoint: We are KOA members because of stays like Clarksboro! Clean, happy feel when we pulled in (late arrival, our packet was on the door as usual) and was welcomed by other campers while walking my dog. Always such a cool community of campers at KOAs and I wouldn't want to camper-travel any other way.

If I could, I would rate it as a 4.5 star. Great central location, nice park and staff were very friendly.

Lots of things to do here for the kids. Bike rental was a lot of fun just wish we can rent them for the day. All in all we had a great time we would definitely be back

Our cabin was clean comfortable well maintained and well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was a great family and dog friendly atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and accomadating.

Showers could be way to hot maybe maxing valve problem

Staff is great but the site...whole other story! We were one night as we were headed south, we were in a small site with a 35 ft 5th wheel, in between 2 seasonals, dog poop on our site in the back where we needed to be to set up our camper, seasonal on one side was parked so we could barely pull out of our site as we wanted to be on the road early, barely made it out safely.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your review. You chose a value site on line, which are usually shorter and/or narrower, hence the price. I apologize for the dog mess on your site, I will speak with our maintenance staff concerning this. Happy camping.

Site was clean, quiet. Nice small campground. Several long term sites that look junky with stuff piled around them and under the rvs. Easy to get to off interstate.

We enjoy ourselves everytime we visit this campground. The staff is always friendly and the campground is always clean.

Always a great and relaxing time when we stay

It was very nice and there was plenty of activities on the weekend for the kids to do!

We really enjoyed our short stay. Our only complaint was that our site (Site #1) had a ton of ant hills. This trip we didn’t have time to make a fire because we had family events nearby but if we had the time, we would not have been able to enjoy a fire due to the ants.

We stayed in the cabins, very clean and well maintained. Park is well kept and had activities Saturday night for the kids.

Relatively nice campground; however, at check in got a military savings if 5%, normally 10%, and the campground was offering a 20% discount, but wasn’t offered at check-in. I found out later and had to ask. Bathrooms weren’t cleaned for 5 days.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your review. We are sorry for the confusion with the discount, it is a brand new discount allowing you to use both your military and VKR discounts. We hope to see you again.

Very nice dog park , and if Mr. Beau Henry likes it , so do we . Every single KOA should look at the dog park you offer .. we are currently at a KOA with a much less desirable dog park, Beau doesn’t forget

Thank you Mr Beau Henry for your great review. We hope to see you again.

The cabins are beautiful and they have everything for your stay.

The kids loved the campground and we got to watch the NBA playoffs. What a great weekend.

Short 2 night stay to make a quick visit to Philadelphia and it was the perfect place for that! Thanks to the friendly staff member Alicia (blond hair and a great personality!), we obtained some great advice about using the Patco train to go to Philly from the nearby Woodcrest station. Thanks to her, we made good use of our short time and saw a lot in Philadelphia! Thanks, Alicia!!!

Women in the office are extremely rude and unaccommodating. Older women with I believe dark blonde hair was the worst. When called and asked a question or had a concern she just kept repeating I'm not understanding you like there was something wrong with us. They also told a group of children the jump pillow inflates at 9:05 and it was not done until 9:30. Horrible office staff

Nice, clean campgound. Large sites with a view of the pond that we watched a Canada goose family with 4 little gosling swim around in. Friendly, efficient check-in with an escort to our site. Easy access to this campground from major highway 295.

Sites for rvs need to have cement pads, not gravel. Basic campground, but over priced, and close to your neighbors. It’s was ok, nothing fancy.
Apr 28, 2026
It was close to the highway in an area that didn't have many RV parks. Site was easy to get into. Got a good hot shower. Clean rest room.
Apr 28, 2026
We enjoyed our short stay. Only problems we encountered were that the wood we purchased was soaking wet. We couldn’t get a fire going with it (and we tried for about an hour). Also, the bathroom showers were not very warm. There was also a bottle cap and a lot of hair in the showers. Other than that the bathroom itself was very clean. The camp ground was clean all around minus the shower.

Wish I had more than 400 characters. Seems that KOA has lowered it's standards for "seasonal" campers. There are either no rules concerning site cleanliness, or else they are not enforced. On one side our neighbor had all kinds of "crap" around his trailer. Ruts from tires in the mud at our site. More but running out of characters. Never stay again. Maybe for all KOAs.

Usually I never have to use the bath houses at most campgrounds but this time I needed to. Just a small suggestion either add more hooks or shelf or small seat. There is no room to lay anything down. especially for the ladies. O ther than that our stay was fine

This is our fourth(?) stay with you. Your location is within 1/2 hour of all the things we enjoy about Philly, including history, art, food and family. We typically don't need or use any amenities, but the grounds are beautiful and well kept, spaces are roomy and clean, a quiet place to get away in back, or more activities up front. This is in our top 5 choices to stay nationwide. Thank you!

Staff were unaccommodating, uncaring, and unwilling to help resolve an issue with our site. We asked for help multiple times, since staff were unresponsive, we set up how we thought would make sense. Then an hour later staff came out and said we had to move our stuff

Location great--central to Philadelphia and the NJ coast Bathrooms not cleaned while were there

Overall a nice campground. Nice sites and nice staff. One night, during our visit, they had something happening under the pavilion (koa ran or rented to a customer, doesn't matter) and music could be heard playing from their speakers throughout the campground. I was sitting outside trying to enjoy peace and quiet until the music started, for a good 30 plus minutes. That should not be allowed for any reason, forcing others to participate in your activities. If I have music on, it's only for me to hear, not my neighbors. Wished the campground would have stopped it.

Stayed here during a trip to Philadelphia. Took about 20-30 mins from the campground to our destinations in Philadelphia. Our site was decently long (fit our 27' trailer and the truck) and a pull through but holy smokes it was thin! Our site class was “Value” so that is probably why because they had plenty of other sites that were much bigger and nicer. They called it a Value site like 5 times during check in so I'm assuming they wanted to stress that for when we got to our site. Our “Value” site had just enough space for a picnic table which was very close to our camper and the camper next to us. If we were hang out outside people this would not have been great, but for us it was perfect. After checking in, a worker in a golf cart escorted us to our site. Camp store was very small, mostly KOA souvenirs and kids toys, some cold drink options. $5 min for credit cards. Campground overall seemed small compared to others, so a small store made sense. Has normal amenities (pool, rec room, laundry, etc) but the real winner here is the dog park. It is HUGE! We live on 1/4 acre and I'm pretty sure this fenced dog area is close to that size, maybe bigger. Tall fence all the way around and plenty of room to run. Our dog is not very dog-friendly but highly active, so the smaller campground and usually empty dog park was 100% amazing! If I was planning a trip out this way again, I would absolutely stay here again.
