Campground Reviews

Very Clean, quiet and easy to get to. Priced good. Just not really near anything you can walk to, that is the only downfall. I have stayed here a couple times and I would absolutely stay here again. I like staying in the front, a lot more private than by the lake.

They suggested we take the PATCO train to see Independance Square in Philadelphia. BRILLANT suggestion! We had a great day without fighting traffic or paying for parking and the train itself was easy to use and great fun. It is a beautiful park. We enjoyed our short stay.

Great weekend at this KOA! We rented 2 Deluxe Cabins for our children and grandchildren (first time camping) and they had a blast!! They want to come back next year!!

Loved the campground. Sites were clean and very well maintained. They should probably invest in a dog retriever of some sort after the Golden Retriever escaped their owner amd decided it wanted to go swimming in their pond, and wouldnt come out!! It was very funny!!ϜϜ

It was very clean! The office hours were very narrow. After check in and unpacking i discovered that our firewood was not delivered. I went back up to main office and it was closed. There was also no after hour number to call in case there was an issue. The camp ground was expensive for amenities. Pool closed very early. For $10 i got 4 pieces of wood. Unacceptable.

The campground was spacious and clean! We van camped, so having clean bathrooms/showers was amazing.

Easy on/off interstate and very quiet considering proximity to Philly. Really enjoyed evening I spent there.

Great location very quiet and easy access to downtown Philly by using the train, close to stores etc but very wooded quiet space. Good infrastructure. Nice stop along the way to see the sites in Philly.

We just had an overnight stay and it was great. The campsite was close to the office and pool with easy access and departure. The pool was a little on the cool side but refreshing after a hot and long day of travel. (A solar heater would be great)

This camp is nice, & is great for walking. Some sites are tight. The grounds crew works very hard & do a great job. With the exception of 1 employee, we've never experienced a more unwelcoming, unfriendly group of employees at any campground in 5 years of full-timing We wonder why almost everyone acts so cold & almost hostile. We're very low maintenance, & avoided employee contact at all costs.

I feel like it was overpriced for one not staying only using electricity. But it was very clean. Very quiet with no problems and they escorted me to the spot

Easy access to I-295 and all south Jersey points of interest. Super friendly staff and fellow campers. Love the wooded setting and it’s so quiet. We will definitely be returning

Pretty surroundings. Nice pond. Big bouncing pillow. Quiet. Most staff are quite friendly. Small, but nice pool. The local TA has the best diesel prices! Good location. Most spots are very close together.

Very friendly staff at check-in. Such a pretty campground. Lots of trees surrounding the entire perimeter creating a quiet, cozy atmosphere. Very well maintained, the sites were spacious. Very clean bathhouses. Lovely area for the kids to play with comfy benches for adults to sit and watch. There was a DJ at the pavilion inviting requests from kids as well as adults. Highly recommended this KOA!

Very nice campground. However your prices have gone way up. Will have to consider other campgrounds.

The ladies in the office were so helpful. Suggesting we take the Patco train into Philadelphia. It was definitely the way to go, a carefree day exploring historical sites. We will stay again, if in the area.

We enjoyed our stay there. It was very clean and welcoming. The escorts that took campers to their spots was such a great amenity. We will definitely stay there again.

Great campground. Friendly staff. Laundry room floor was very dirty and only 3 washers and 3 dryers. That was the only negative.

The 1-35 loop of sites are VERY small. Otherwise staff was great, campground is nice and clean as well.

It was a great stay as always, staff friendly and helpful. The one recommendation I would have is on a holiday weekend, 3-day weekend, they have more activities other than just Saturday.

Its in a great location. Unfortunately, it rained for my entire 3 night stay, and was fairly cold for the end of May. All of the normal activities were closed (pool, etc.).

Very clean despite downpours all weekend. Staff was super friendly and quick to respond.

Not the Campgrounds fault, but we couldn’t really enjoy the camp with all the rain. Showers are very small though, but very clean. Laundry room is nice. Office needs more snacks - not much there. Again, a lot of this is because we didn’t want to go anywhere with the downpour for 3 days. Not being allowed to get propane was problematic with it being cold and the furnace and hot water heater us

Very arrogant staff at front desk and bad checkin experience. first KOA i ever came across where front desk staff was miserable likely she is the owner or supervisor.

nice location clean peaceful

The staff were very helpful and got us into our spot. We are a very large rig, so they had a go a way that would not get us into a tree! It is a lovely campground and very peaceful!

Very nice well maintained Campground. Very upsetting that I could not let my children sleep in a tent on my site! They were looking forward to camping in a tent. Definitely a reason not to stay at a KOA if this is corporate policy.

Love it. It is a beautiful place

We didn’t do much at the campground but stay there each night. We were in town for the PGA Championship. We used the dog park and the dogs were very happy to have such a large place to run. Thankful also to Alyssia who helped walk the dogs on our longer days away.

Nice, clean and quiet. We stayed for 3 nights and the location was very convenient for visiting Philly and the surrounding area attractions. Will stay again if back in the area!

Overall a nice campground. Nice sites and nice staff. One night, during our visit, they had something happening under the pavilion (koa ran or rented to a customer, doesn't matter) and music could be heard playing from their speakers throughout the campground. I was sitting outside trying to enjoy peace and quiet until the music started, for a good 30 plus minutes. That should not be allowed for any reason, forcing others to participate in your activities. If I have music on, it's only for me to hear, not my neighbors. Wished the campground would have stopped it.

Stayed here during a trip to Philadelphia. Took about 20-30 mins from the campground to our destinations in Philadelphia. Our site was decently long (fit our 27' trailer and the truck) and a pull through but holy smokes it was thin! Our site class was “Value” so that is probably why because they had plenty of other sites that were much bigger and nicer. They called it a Value site like 5 times during check in so I'm assuming they wanted to stress that for when we got to our site. Our “Value” site had just enough space for a picnic table which was very close to our camper and the camper next to us. If we were hang out outside people this would not have been great, but for us it was perfect. After checking in, a worker in a golf cart escorted us to our site. Camp store was very small, mostly KOA souvenirs and kids toys, some cold drink options. $5 min for credit cards. Campground overall seemed small compared to others, so a small store made sense. Has normal amenities (pool, rec room, laundry, etc) but the real winner here is the dog park. It is HUGE! We live on 1/4 acre and I'm pretty sure this fenced dog area is close to that size, maybe bigger. Tall fence all the way around and plenty of room to run. Our dog is not very dog-friendly but highly active, so the smaller campground and usually empty dog park was 100% amazing! If I was planning a trip out this way again, I would absolutely stay here again.
