Wonderful campground and awesome area to discover all the beauties of South Dakota. I have already recommended your campground to a relative who is booked for June 2025.

We arrived on 9/20/24 and no amenities were open! We had NO cell or internet service although this was a “Resort”! Heaven forbid there was an emergency as we could not even connect with the office, even during office hours! Our site was next to a pole with 4 (FOUR) WiFi boosters yet we could not connect to KOA website! We needed a mobile RV repair but had to go to Hill City for cell service!

Beautiful sites, amenities pristine, very clean facilities. Food was disappointing & out of a # of items. They were a week from closing down for the season which explains that.

Beautiful campground and huge! Easy checkin. Very clean and well maintained. The office was very helpful when we had a camper problem. Lots of amenities. Perfect location

Very nice camp ground with a great location close to Mount Rushmore. Even through we were there late in the season the flowers decorating the camp grounds were beautiful. There were a couple of restaurants on the grounds so need to leave the park to get a bite.

We enjoyed are stay over labor day weekend. It would be nice if the stores would stay open one more week for those that stay after the weekend.

Although we arrived “off season” (after Labor Day), and most activities were closed, one can see how much fun it would be to enjoy all that this park has to offer.

The KOA was friendly, quiet and clean. There was no phone and TV service which made it difficult to keep in touch.

Every thing was closed, no cell service and no TV stations could be picked up. It would be great if cable was offered. The people where nice and helpful.

We were excited about our stay only to arrive and discover EVERYTHING at this KOA was closed. All the amenities except the laundry were closed. This was a huge disappointment as this resort has lots to offer if open. Next was our site. THEY ARE VERY SMALL AND TIGHT. We paid for a FHU, Patio site and that is what we got but very tight. Rigs were on top of each other. Cannot not recommend.

We stayed from Sept 27th to Oct 1st. If the RV park is closing on Oct 1st, they should keep all the amenities open till that date. Kind of disappointing not to be able to take advantage of all this park had to offer. Everything was closed when we arrived.

Helpful hosts , clean amenities , very nice size lot with fire pit, free showers and plenty of them. Kids would have a blast at the mini golf and playground.

We used it as a mid way point on a road trip and absolutely loved it. Very clean bathrooms and lots of stores, campsites had wild deer walking through.

Very Nice Facility, conveniently located. Too bad all the amenities were closed during our stay! A couple of sites around us could use some changes like relocating the fire pit to prevent damaging neighboring trailers! Also sad to see other visitors got a discounted rate due to the amenities in not being available.

Chose this RV park BECAUSE of the amenities. All were closed, or for some reason not offered. I understand seasonal offerings but not to advise visitors prior to booking is fraud. At least make it clear or offer a seasonal discount. I will not be returning because of this underhanded practice. I sent email to management while there and it went unanswered.

check in was easy and having a "guide" vehicle show where spot is was of great help. I think the spots are pretty tight comparing them to the other dozen and dozens of RV parks we stayed at over the years. We were shocked to hear that, why not before we made reservations, the dinner, ice cream and other facilities were all closed up. If I knew that I sure would look around to see at other par

This campground is in a great location. Beautiful views and very friendly staff. We stayed late in the season, so many things were closed for the season. Hope to take grandkids here next season. I do recommend.

The facility seemed nice but nobody indicated that every single amenity would be closed in late September when we booked our pricey site. Very disappointing stay for us.

We went up to see Mt Rushmore with our RV, the grounds are so nice and clean. Even though season was over for activites we enjoy the sightseeing.All of the crew were very friendly and helpful.

The staff were great - very helpful and friendly. Kelley even helped us with our dog when South Dakota was hit with a late season heatwave. The only negative would be there was only one laundry room open. There were a lot of rigs there because of the Buffalo Roundup and one laundry room did not cut it. We had to go into town to do laundry.

U have the perfect place thr we luved every minute of it except tht all the places were closed for season which we understand but the the utv place could of been open but no biggy place grounds and staff were awesome we will b back thnxs

Location was great. UTV trails from the KOA were very limited. I never saw that there was a pet fee until we checked in and I looked at the receipt. We were lucky to go when it wasn’t very busy otherwise the sites would be so packed with not a lot of space between.

Loved the place vary nice booked for next year. Woud go evey year every year if coud vary fun woud love try the atv rentals next time.pool was vary nice not to full had room for my family to swim and play the rodeo was lot fun also horse back riding was also lot of fun

Fantastic staff very helpful and friendly wonderful location in view of the highest peak in that part of south dakota. Best facilities and resort ever. They offer a lot of amenities more than we expected. Restaurant, lodge, soecial events, wr experienced a polka palooza. Well organized. Good food. Very clean resort. Loved the flowers planted everywhere

Perfect family resort! My family and I stayed at this KOA for 4 nights over labor day weekend. We usually camp in a tent or our camper in the black hills, but this time decided to try out one of the rustic cabin rentals, which was perfect for our family of 4. The resort is very large, two pool areas, a stable, restaurant and cafe on site, lots of activities for kids and adults. We enjoyed the splash pad for our small kids and the mini golf. Food in the restaurant was great, we ate there a couple of times. The location of the resort is very convenient for all black hills activities. Would definitely recommend this KOA!
