We only stayed for three nights. I would like to see them have more movie nights on the weekdays.

I really like your campground. It's very pretty, but I didn't appreciate no water hookups. I realize you're limited in October, but It just makes it less enjoyable because we have to restrict using own water. Plus charging $50 per night is pretty high for only getting electricity. That's why I rated you a 5.

We reserved a week but after 2 days we extended our stay an extra week. Loved being able to walk under highway from RV to the Willow Creek trail. Have recommended to all of our camper friends. Thanks for the hospitality! The Griffins Malakoff Tx.

The bathrooms we used were not always very clean and some of the trim work is pretty rotten. I have definitely saw a lot worse, but we were right by the bathrooms and in the evening to early morning time they were in a great need to be cleaned, and I feel it was the easiest time to have someone come to clean through the night. Our sight was great, customer service in registering was great.

Great site, near everything in the park. Dog friendly was a plus. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Great first experience with KOA! The reservation process was easy, and changing our dates was very convenient. Communication thru the e mabefore arrival was excellent, and check-in was quick and easy. The campground and bathrooms were clean, and all the guests were very respectful. The best part of this park is its proximity to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer State Park, just to name a few. The park also has lots of amenities, although all were closed as we visited after Labor Day. The people were great! Lots of places to walk the dogs, and Mount Barkmore was so fun for them. Overall, it was a great place to stay and have easy access to the area.

Very nice campground. Clean and well maintained. I would have given it the highest ratings except for a few issues. I was unable to place an important phone call because I didn’t have coverage, and the WiFi was slow and unreliable at times. Otherwise it’s a physically appealing KOA. Our absolute favorite accommodation was the morning garbage pickup! What a great idea!

I have been to this KOA before and really enjoyed the sites, but this year we came later in September only to find all the perks of the camp shut down. Disappointing but it is still a nice KOA with big sites. Just need to work on getting a cell phone signal past the front gate. Hope to see you again soon.

Just a one night stop while in the Black Hills. The staff was wonderful and the site was as advertised. The family is already talking about coming back again next year.

The place was great. A little disappointed that we didn't get to utilize any amenities because they were all closed for the season. The firewood was overpriced for what you recieved but that will teach us to not come prepared.

Wow! Simply amazing. From the minute we drove up, to the minute we left it was a first class experience. The staff was so friendly. A couple maintenance guys stopped at our space and shared about 5-10 minutes with us explaining the area around us. So nice of them to share some time with us. It was wonderful. Thank you so much and we will be back.

We loved this site, location and convenience, not to mention the kind and helpful staff. If it wasn’t for the gal checking us in, we wouldn’t have stayed as long, nor had we gotten to know this beautiful area as we did. Everyone was so helpful (our first RV trip) and friendly. Everything at the campground was clean and well maintained. If we go back to that area, we would definitely stay there again!

Campsites to close together and small did not have room to park my vehicle to get it out of the road way to crowded hard to enjoy when your parked on top of each other

This is a beautiful campground with lots of things to do for all ages. We were there mid-September and enjoyed having it not so crowded. It is close to so many attractions and area towns. The surrounding views are spectacular. We enjoyed our stay.

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds I've stayed at! Amazing grounds, beautiful scenery, hiking paths, friendly staff, clean facilities, very nice place. If I had to comment, I'd say leave the store open later than 6:00 (thats a little early when your a late afternoon arrival) the showers could use a little updating, and the park needs exit signage. Will definitely be staying there again.

Staff was amazing, friendly and responsive. But, most of the facilities and activities were shut down on the week that we spent there. It is unfortunate that the web site did not mention this. Else we would have picked a cheaper RV site.

This jam packed KOA has it all. 2 pools. Waterslide. Playgrounds. Restaurants on the property. Horseback riding. Rodeo. UTV rentals. Lots of activities for the kids. Bounce pillow. It's right down the road from Mount Rushmore. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly. Cell phone reception is pretty poor, but you can't blame KOA. WiFi is pretty good if you are near their hotspots. There was always KOA employees ripping around, which they should slow down a little bit. We did experience the bees as mentioned by other reviewers. Everyone had a great time and we enjoyed our stay.
