I expected better wifi at a KOA this size. Other members of our group who were staying near the back of the campground had better connection. Other than that it was a good experience and the kids enjoyed all the amenities.

Awesome property and amenities. But for us too many yelling kids and their bikes almost running into us without a car. And constant OHRV passing even late into the evening. So not our ideal environment.

This resort was amazing. There were so many amenities and options for kids. The prices were surprisingly reasonable. I would definitely return.

The whole experience was a 10. Everything that was offered to do was awesome. Chuck wagon , breakfast at the tent, pizza and ice cream shop was a great choice. The pub and tap room was a great place to get a bite to eat and relax. There was nothing that was not great. Wonderful time with my family. The grandkids said their favorite part of the trip was panning for the rocks. I loved the trail ride and my husband loved the proximity to lots of places to fish. Best KOA ever!!!!

Great campground! Has every amenity. Only gave 4 stars because I paid extra for a patio site, which was very nice, but on the busiest road in the park. There was a constant parade of loud KOA vehicles going by, all day and into the evening. Bad placement of the premium patio sites.

Staff was so friendly! Lots to do for kids and families. We enjoyed watching all of it. Only suggestion would be the showers. Need some updating with shower curtains and need a bench or chair in the shower area before you step in the shower. Great location to all the attractions.

It was our 2nd time here. Everything was wonderful, with one exception, very disappointed that the hot tub was not working. With the amount of money this KOA brings in, I don't think there is an excuse for this.

My family experience was wonderful, from check-in and escort to the campsite to overall staff friendliness. I want to recognize Kindra from guest services and Jorita from the coffee shop for going above and beyond their work duties to make sure my family was taken care of. I believe both of their welcoming attitude, smiles, jokes, and personalities set my family up for a great camping experience

This is an amazing KOA. It is well maintained, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There are so many things to do in this area and the campground as well! We loved it and will definitely return for a longer visit!

I have stayed here before (pre-covid) and have wanted to get back. The resort is fantastic and full of options, HOWEVER, not sure if we will come back. The lack of cell phone service and usable internet is unacceptable. When you have grandkids attending classes, and businesses which require monitoring, and service not capable of streaming videos or tv, it just isn't acceptable.

Our stay was outstang in every way. One of your staff, Lenny was exceptional. He helped us throughout our stay. When my vehicle was struck by another camper trying to get into their space, 2 other personnel staff that was directing the camper to their site. Those two other personnel that were there, seemed indifferent, and didn't offer to help. Lenny did offer to help with whatever I needed.

Stayed 6 days with our side by side.place is huge,tons of activities and sites are pretty big too.very windy so prepare for that.staff is amazing and on top of everything.would come back eventually.they do have tons of food options and keystone is a 15 minute drive too.

The park is very very well maintained. All the staff were super friendly and helpful! The amenities are amazing. You literally did not have to leave the resort but we did. If you have kids, this is the place for you.

The grounds were very nice and quiet at night. Everything was clean. For the price point of the campground I expected the WiFi to work but I tried to do some work online and it was useless.

We love this campground. Although the restaurants can be a bit pricey they are life savers in a pinch. There’s just so much to do. We’ve probably been here 8 times and still haven’t done it all.

Wow.. so much going on. We appreciated that we were in the upper area which was quieter. Not sure how sites are assigned. Lots of open sites but a family with young kids was put next to us. It was fine for us, but felt like they were worried about their kids noise. Why not put them in another space? Just a thought. We enjoyed the soace!

This KOA Resort is everything you would hope a KOA Resort in the Black Hills would be... The amenities were awesome, the store and staff great. site was easily accessible and we loved our first Rodeo!

We loved your campground resort. My only suggestion is that the lower to the ground bikes that children were riding had a flag on a pole so they were easily seen. I believe these bikes, not a traditional bike, were rented through your campground.

The only thing was our group went to Mount Rushmore at night and when we came back some worker followed our group and started making accuseing comments. Luckily the person he went after was a police officer who calmed the guy down. We have been going there for over four years and this is the time this has ever happened.

This was our second stay at this campground. Great sites, excellent activities and the entire staff is top notch. Definitely recommend if you’re staying in the Rushmore area!

It was our first time in a KOA and it was amazing!! The campground was clean and all the staff were so friendly. We only stayed there for only one night but we wished we would have stayed much longer.

It was clean with more amenities than expected. Only issue is that the fishing pond is advertised as stocked with fish, but in reality there are no fish in it

There's only enough room to park your camper and not enough room for your vehicle. The pancakes are not free.

We’ll definitely be back! We needed more time to both enjoy the campground amenities as well as explore the many site seeing adventures and cool shops in downtown Hill City.

Surprised the pads aren't level and not paved for the price. Also need better markings on sites that glow in the dark or are lit. Need a large map on registration so you can locate stuff if you are out late. Need to ensure ANYONE coming in before close for a parking pass gets a map. Our granddaughter had a horrendous time locating us. It took her 40 minutes and help from security.

The sites can be extremely unlevel, they are pretty close together, and since most don't have sewer hookups the line for the dumping station is long in the morning! It is family friendly with stuff for the kids, but it is extremely busy, so people are coming and going constantly...and our first site we tried was too small for us and of course we told them it was 23feet with a slideout, but with trees or tree stumps and fire rings...there was no way we could actually set up...so we moved to a different site, but only had 2 others available in the whole park, and it's big! And in the back up sites, there is no way to leave your truck attached, they simply aren't big enough. So if you do stay here, make sure to take your detached truck to the needles highway loop, it's crazy!!! The campground staff are helpful and friendly, and the store and onsite restaurants have anything you could need, and they even have horseback trail riding.

We stayed 11 nights with our two teenage daughters — great overall experience, and the staff went above and beyond. Special shoutout to Lenny, who was incredibly friendly and made the stay better. One piece of feedback: the pool area, specifically the hot tub. We stay at resorts across the country regularly, and this was the first time we've encountered this - no matter what time of day we went, the hot tub was packed with young kids (roughly 4-8) jumping and playing, with no adult supervision managing their behavior. Other guests voiced the the same frustration. This isn't a knock on the kids - it's a supervision gap. An adult-only hour (early morning or evening) would fix it and let everyone actually use the amenity. Would still recommend - hoping this gets addressed.
