I didn't like our site. I could not park on the parking pad. My vehicle was too low and there was a bump to get up. Tables were leaning down in the cabin and I could see through cracks in the seams. Wasp nest also. I love this resort and all it's activities, just not site k491.

Bathroom facilities very run down and not clean but did find the nice ones within the RV area. The "shell" cabin we stayed in was a horrible location. The community water faucet was next to my car. Goose poop everywhere!!! A nice man did bring me a rake the second night so we could make a fire. My suggestion is to gravel the cabin areas so you don't track goose poop inside the cabins or cars.

A riding buddy and I stayed in a 2-room cabin. It is a little rustic but about what I expected. The light was so dim sometimes I needed a flashlight to see anything in small detail; a brighter light bulb would be nice. The restroom and showers were clean and well maintained for a campground. We were there to ride motorcycles and site see so we didn't use the pool or many other on-site activities.

Things we loved: The staff, the grounds, the activities. Top notch playground! We LOVED our UTV ride! Feedback: We booked an 8-person cabin so we’d have more room, but we were placed in a 6-person cabin because we had 4 people. I should have been more specific. The bunks were ok for the kids but had very little padding. The shower curtain was too short so water always went on the floor.

Great camp ground, cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at a campground. Lots for kids and adults to do. Highly recommend it to anyone!

Loved the cabin. Glad I was able to get a heater. Would be nice if the heater was not noisy. Other than that, our stay was great.

We enjoyed our stay at this KOA. Kids loved swimming in the pool and nice to have a restaurant on site. We left a day early and they gave me a credit for the last day. I want to thank them very much for that. The weather was not cooperating.

Love this place so much, the amenities are amazing and the people are so friendly. Second time staying, we used a cabin this time and the beds were the most uncomfortable... bring a mattress pad of sorts if you have a sensitive or bad back/hips, pretty rough on shoulders as well. p.s. ordered at the restaurant, the online menu from koa app is not correct. not a big deal, but just a heads up.

The cabin was too spendy, the walk too long for getting food, and thoughtfulness about having a heater and air conditioner in the room was low. The person that helped was professional but not personable like the people at Spearfish KOA (which was excellent in all the above areas.) - I did enjoy the clean shower

Staff helpful. Showers tiny with no place to sit or get dressed/undressed. Area is used by male and female. Kozy Kabin in need of repairs. Door only partially opened, screens torn and curtains didn’t cover the windows completely leaving a 8” gap of daylight coming in Restaurant was good and reasonably priced

many employees were being trained during our stay, many 'learning moments' were experienced All in all, a pretty good trip, went off season so some things were not available. The fact they rented cars was a big plus.

Not a resort at this moment because all the extra begin after may 25. We stayed in a basic cabin with half golfcar view, half mountain. Restroom on walking distance, showers where far away. No place to wash your dishes. There where basic cabins close to the laundry. Check in is at 3 we where there at 2 cabin wasn’t ready yet. Later we saw that a vew where taken. With 20$ more book hotel

We reserved a deluxe RV site and a two bedroom camper cabin. The RV site was amazing. It included a patio, furniture and a gas grill. The cabin was nice and functional, but could use new mattresses. The park is very nice, scenic and close to all there is to see on the Black Hills.

The campground was well maintained and bathrooms spotless. The only negative is that we stayed in the cabins and they did not include a TV, chair, or heaterwhich was listed as an amenity

WOW is the best way to sum up this camping experience. This place has everything you need to camp in luxury. When we pulled in to this place my kids where instantly excited and I was a hero in their eyes. Absolutely worth it.

We very much enjoyed our deluxe cabin. A little disappointed that there was no propane tank and the picnic table was falling apart, and we couldn’t sit on it. Also, the wood we purchased from your store for our fire was treated wood and put out all kinds of black smoke so we couldn’t even cook anything on the fire pit.

While the campground was nice, we were pretty bummed that the restaurants and small shops were closed for the end of the season. We also got bug bites from the cabin beds that we are unsure were bed bugs or what but I have very itchy large bug bites all over my body from the cabin we stayed in that are finally starting to heal. Overall the bathrooms and what was open were nice and clean

I've always loved this KOA, in fact it was my favorite of those I've visited. However, we usually bring our camper, but this trip we rented a cabin. The cabins are fairly far from restrooms and showers and the water was shut off to the nearest sites to us as well. I understand we were there late in the year but temps were in the 90's. Why put bathrooms in the middle of campers that have bathrooms

Rented an executive home, deluxe cabin X2 and had a camping slip. Just a bit frustrated because the supplies were very minimum in the cabin and home. Had very few utensils or even a big large bowl to toss a salad in the house. Never picked up our trash, needed trash bags. Not enough toilet paper I will be doing a review on Travelocity or Google. This is the first time I’ve been disappointed.

This was our 4th or 5th time staying here, but our first time staying in a cabin (we brought our camper in the past). The cabin was cute, but has some sewer gas smell and a water leak under the kitchen sink. The shower liner is too high, so when we showered we got water on the floor. We cleaned it up right away, but if the problem isn't fixed, it will ruin the flooring.

Loved our stay we were just really disappointed that everything was closed for the season already. Even the bathrooms that were right near us. We were looking forward to experiencing even some of the amenities without the insane crowds of summer.

Enjoyed our stay overall. We stayed in a modern cabin, cleanliness was marginal. Ceiling fan and bath vents covered in dust. Additionally, there is no cell service due to the granite in the mountains surrounding the camp and WiFi was marginal, terribly slow, and often not able to be connected to. Mine as a bit of a working vacation so this made it difficult.

Me and family come here about 2 times a year, staff is always great and helpful. Located near all major attractions and also close to Rapid city incase you need something from a major store. This place is always clean and beautiful. They have just about anything you need, 2 stores, food, restaurants, firewood and more.

We came the whole way from PA, with a 40 ft camper and a CCLB truck. The middle pull thru sites are less to be desired for coming in and out. Not even enough room to be able to park our truck. No measurements online so we weren't able to gauge. First pull thru site I've ever been to that would not accommodate the pulling vehicle. Thankfully our neighbor left before us because it would have been challenging to get out. It's like the just slam whoever wherever without thinking about things like this. Other than middle pull through sites, this place has a LOT to offer. Staff is very friendly, seems like rules aren't enforced well as I've seen off leash dogs, kids screaming and yelling at 10-11 pm. Kind of cut into our experience. Thanks for the time.

We had some trouble with the site, but were able to get everything resolved easily. There's a lot here for kids to do and I love that there's access to the trails in the area, even if they're infested with filthy SxS's (buy a dirtbike, you plebs).
