Poor to no WIFI. I was staying during the off season, with not many campers. I imagine during the busy season the wifi is even worse. There are other campgrounds, in Keystone, next time I will stay there

While the KOA resort seems to have a lot to offer we arrived Sept 2 the day after Labor Day and found most of the “resort” extras closed. No horses to see, stores and snack bars closed. I found this disappointing and aggravating.

Beautiful park. We got the site with concrete patio ,patio set, and gas grill. Stayed 3 nights and loved it Quiet and convenient. Even rented a car there as we have a motorhome. Staff was awesome. Very kind and helpful

We have stayed at a lot of different KOAs and this location was amazing and offered so much not just at the KOA but how centrally located to everything within the Black Hills area it is nothing is to far away. Will definitely be coming again if we are in the area

We arrived on Labor Day to find most amenities closed, and yet we paid full price. It erks me that we booked early so we didn’t get the 3 night promotion that others received. We were looking forward to dinner only to find that the small lunch dinner was offered instead of the full dinner menu. Please deliver on expectations. Location was great but feel we over paid.

It’s a beautiful campground. Very well maintained. Fun activities for everyone. We stayed here as our home base and traveled to points of interest. Would highly recommend this campground.

Was surprised by the lack of cell service that prohibited calls and our internet hardware. The Wi-Fi was spotting and difficult to access during half our 4 night stay. The location and staff were great,

Every employee was a 10! Very helpful and friendly! BUT: you charged us $30 to reserve the same spot we were in and paid top dollar for just 5 days before (or our way back home) , And this spot Was available and your campground was not even 60 percent full that night!! This was highway robbery!! Terrible of you to treat a good customer in this manner!!! You should refund if you care!!

Site was level and had a great view. Would like to have stayed longer, but they weren't able to accommodate us. The 2 sites they had available to stay through the weekend were the worst in the camp ground so we moved on to another KOA.

Great place to stay! We enjoyed the camp grounds, but we were a little disappointed most everything was closed for the season.

We stayed through the 3rd of September. We were disappointed that some of the amenities were not available on Labor Day. The horses were gone and some of the restaurants/shops were closed. We loved the amenities for for the children. Suggestion is to keep the amenities open for a little longer than Labor Day.

Great amenities! A bit dirty though. Cleaning should be done at certain time schedule. Not while people are using them. Great staff at the registration desk. Friendly and helpful. They all were kind and pleasant to talk with.

We always enjoy staying here with family or just Dean and I. We noticed that the Cafe no longer serves breakfast. Only lunch and dinner. We always enjoyed having breakfast. Especially day we are leaving campground.

Very disappointed, choose to stay here due to all the amenities only to find out they closed everything. You should really keep things open especially on a holiday weekend when you charge a premium for the stay. Campground looked great and sites nice, just disappointed in the experience.

I would give this zero stars if possible. Amenities that should have been open were not (water slide, hot tub, etc), which was the only reason we stayed there. So many golf carts speeding around, driving insanely. So crowded, absolutely awful.

Big! There was something for everyone. (on a personal note...we were having trouble with our RV fuses...and within minutes, a KOA employee was at our site, helping to solve the problem. Thank you, Irv!)

Great location and beautiful campground. Was a little disappointed when my son’s phone was stolen from the basketball court and the staff really didn’t seem to care. We searched and searched and asked repeatedly. It was showing as in the fun zone on tracking but they claimed not to have it. WiFi is terrible throughout the campground so that really didn’t help the situation.

The only complaint I have is super low water pressure at the camp sites at certain times ( I'm sure when a lot of people are showering in their campers). Other than that super friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful grounds ( love all the flowers) and activities for younger kids. Perhaps adding some activities for older kids ( high school) such as a zip line, etc. Overall great stay!

The hot tub was filthy. On the last day they were open for the season, they drained the hot tub and refilled it, so it couldn’t be used. Big disappointment. Eggs at breakfast were awful. Also, workers leaning over the credit card machine to watch what you tip is poor practice .

Beautiful resort with an amazing view! It had everything we needed to keep our family entertained/ was quiet enough to get some relaxing family time in! Every staff member we came in contact with was very nice and the facilities were very well maintained!

I would have rated this higher but when I went to use the hot tubs at the lower pool, they were both green and nasty looking. One was closed but the other should have been too, needed cleaned. Have a 38ft rig w toad, they gave me a site hardly big enough + a tree interfered w my slide. They moved me to the next. They should have given me one of the better bigger sites. Plenty of them were open.

Very disappointed in our stay. I had made my reservations 10 months in advance and specifically asked to not be next to a playground. We were placed directly next to the children’s activity area. It was chaos. Unsupervised children and even KOA employees ignoring the fact these children were driving golfcarts and motor scooters at excess speed. We were only there for one night but found the resort beautiful. It has everything one could possibly need at a campground. This campground has been taken care of very well and a lot of thought has gone into providing a wonderful stay for all. the only reason I gave it a 4, is that it was sooooo busy....full of active ATV's which made it a bit noisy so if you are looking for quiet, this is not it.

Overall it’s a great place to stay. The camping spots are a bit crowded, but still decent. We weren’t at camp very much so it was fine. Nobody bothers anything, and this we loved! I wish the office was easier to reach with immediate access to security. We had some hellraisers in camp and I had to drive to the office because there isn’t a direct line to security. We spent a week here in the summer, and had a really great experience. We loved the stable and we enjoyed the pool. The best part was that our 9-year-old, an only child, was able to go and play with other kids every day. He played chess, basketball, miniature golf, and Gaga ball, and had a wonderful time. We also appreciated the proximity to Jewel Cave and Mount Rushmore. I want to express my great appreciation for Jeff from Guest Services. One night some older kids showed up to play Gaga ball and my son got hurt and was scared of the big kids who were playing rough. Jeff showed up to help, tracked down the big kids (they actually ran away at first and he had to RUN after them to track them down!), counseled my son more than once to help him not be scared about talking to them, got the big kids to apologize and talked to their parents without being punitive or mean in any way, and overall just did a really great job. The staff here in general is great but Jeff super impressed my entire family.
