Would give 5 stars except the wi-fi was unreliable. For the amount that is charged for the spots and for having so many other fantastic amenities, this KOA needs to provide better wi-fi services.

Ok, this stay was awesome!!!! I stayed at another KOA before and it was a great experience. So I picked this location for our second time camping. The whole family got a beautiful memory! We didn't wanted lo leave, the facility, staff and place overall is over the top! We were not gone yet and we were already talking about coming back!

Our spot we stayed at had grass was supper long we had a garbage bag from the people before us laying in the grass. It was tough navigating with all the people walking and golf carts going everywhere. It be nice if you had a dedicated spot for them.

We really enjoyed our stay! The campground is huge! There is so much to do that you could spend your whole vacation on site. The location is perfect for Mt Rushmore and all your Back Hills activities. They have golf carts, horses, a cafe and restaurant too.

Lack of cell service was a big problem, should be prominently displayed on your web site. Having a dedicated adult hot tub and pool, or restricted hour would be helpful to those of us without children. Activities were nice but not well publicized. Rodeo was great. Cost of snacks, ice cream and restaurant were too high. Proximity to Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse monuments was great. Super Staff!

Fantastic location. Staff is super friendly. The horse stable and guides are top notch. The rodeo was fantastic. Plenty to do and 10-15 minutes from all the sights. Great KOA, best one we have stayed at. On the flip side, most sites could use a bit more gravel.

We stayed 3 nights. Park has a lot of activities. Horse back riding, golf carts, restaurant, etc. We had our dog so we were very limited to what we could do. It would be great if KOA had kennels or boarding for the day. The water was brownish, I didn’t ask why. Very nice park, near all the tourist sites.

So much to do and SO much fun. The site was a bit small and uneven but we werent there much. We did the UTVs for 3 hours which was not enough, we should have gone for the 7 hour rental because it was AMAZING! We also did the trail ride which was great. The wagon dinner show was incredible, soo delicious and got me to eat beans! Only down side would be the brown water and lack of pool maintenance

I did not care for the Campground the gravel driveways dusty when it’s dry muddy when it’s rain the fact there is no phone service. No wi-Fi very disappointing. Would definitely not stay again.

Lots to do. Had a great time. The deluxe patio was a nice treat. Weber grill cooked up some good food. Met some nice people and enjoyed a few drinks, dinner and even got my Amazon supplies delivered while here. Our spot was in the back which was good but lots of maintenance trucks going by throughout the day

Amazing campsite close to many attractions. On site activities and things to do made it possible to never leave the site if wanted. Very nice bathroom/shower buildings. Will definately stay again!

Great park with great amenities with beautiful views. We stayed 4 nights Ian’s felt this was a perfect location to visit the surrounding areas. The drives to all of our destinations were just beautiful. Visited Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore , Deadwood and the nearby towns. Such a great park for families with trail rides, pools, activities, eateries and more. A true resort. Great staff too!

This was an amazing place very well kept and everyone here was so very friendly. Many amenities here. Just wish sites were a little longer. If you’re here on vacation great place to stay. Here for work the internet is slow and Verizon is non existent.

We had a great family vacation enjoying everything on-site! We traveled in our motorhome and were able to see & do everything we wanted to while on the property. From horseback riding to the Chuck Wagon Dinner to taking a UTV on trails and to Mt. Rushmore, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This KOA has a lot of onsite amenities to offer. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The sites are a little closer than we like, but this is the only negative we see. Thank you for a great stay.

Activities for Kids are great, BUT: tap water was everywhere on campground brown-ish. Unacceptable and even worse if you charge for water. Invest in clean fresh water!

We had a great stay. Glad we reserved early since it was Sturgis week. Showers by section near rodeo could use some fold down benches and a little grate for when you get out of shower. Pancake breakfast was good. Chuck wagon dinner was great. Diner and bar good. Second time to stay there and would stay again

Very nice campground with ALL the amenities. Awesome Staff - very helpful, accommodating and responsive. Close to Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, Keystone and Crazy Horse. Beautiful area. The only issue is, the campground allows campers to put their patio mats on the grass, which has killed it next to the RV's creating dust pits that turn into mud pits when it rains. Other than that it's GREAT!

It was a wonderful stay. The only complaint was that our site was not as level as we were expecting. However, we found a way to make it work. Also, the picnic tables are getting warped - it would be nice to see some of the wood replaced next year. Overall 10 out of 10

I love this place, so much for a family to enjoy. I was in a motorcycle accident at Sturgis and the staff treated me like I was an injured family member. Specifically Angela, one of the managers there, took extra time to visit my campsite and check on me, handled current and upcoming vacation reservations for me, gave me a golf cart ride to get supplies, and more. The staff went out of there way.

The biggest KOA in America was awesome. Very nice people there. The gift stores were awesome. One of the restaurants we ate at were great. We will definitely stay there again when we pass through.

The campground had lots of amenities and great location to monument and parks. The reason why I gave the low numbers was because of staff. This was our first ever KOA experience and the first guy that greeted us was ignorant. Then another worker gave us two more issues with verbal comments. If you choose to stay here you better be prepared bc workers don’t treat people well for the cost to camp.

Our stay was fabulous! We were there with our grandson's and had an excellent experience! We were able to fish, rent golf carts, swim, putt putt golf, attend a rodeo, and checked out the fun activities for kids. The pancake breakfast was a nice touch and the onsite restaurants were great and we even had ice cream at Turtle Town nightly. The Chuckwagon Dinner is a must do!!

We spent a week here in the summer, and had a really great experience. We loved the stable and we enjoyed the pool. The best part was that our 9-year-old, an only child, was able to go and play with other kids every day. He played chess, basketball, miniature golf, and Gaga ball, and had a wonderful time. We also appreciated the proximity to Jewel Cave and Mount Rushmore. I want to express my great appreciation for Jeff from Guest Services. One night some older kids showed up to play Gaga ball and my son got hurt and was scared of the big kids who were playing rough. Jeff showed up to help, tracked down the big kids (they actually ran away at first and he had to RUN after them to track them down!), counseled my son more than once to help him not be scared about talking to them, got the big kids to apologize and talked to their parents without being punitive or mean in any way, and overall just did a really great job. The staff here in general is great but Jeff super impressed my entire family.
