Been stayin with you for several years. Disappointed that Cable TV had been removed with no notice to us. Pancake Tent is OK. Just not as lively as when Ralph and Sandy Kruze were there. Restaurant needs much improvement. Service is slow, Quality and Quantity of food served is less than average,Prices are too high for what you get.

Cabins, showers, and bathrooms were very clean. We rode the horses and they were wonderful. Can’t beat being in such close proximity to Mount Rushmore. Kid areas where great and the campgrounds where very clean.

We had a terrific time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Casey Skillingstad. An excellent host and represented the campground very well. We plan to return next year.

Stayed in Deluxe Cabin 203, noted many maint. issues needing work: bird nest above door (birds dive-bombed us the whole time); stove top burners didn't work; light under microwave didn't work; grease filters above oven were filthy; no rods to close window blinds; no entry mat to wipe feet; bathroom hot water took forever; AND everything at this KOA was TERRIBLY EXPENSIVE! Will not recommend!

This place is massive. The KOA staff do everything to make you stay enjoyable. Unbeknown to us, we booked during the last week of the Sturgis Ralley. Lots of bikes and people. The campground has LOTS to offer. Playgrounds are huge. One night there was live music. We left before the rodeo, so we can’t really comment on that. And Palmer Gulch stables are a must!

My 9th or 10th stay at the Rushmore KOA and it’s always memorable. However, since the first stay in 2011, the prices at the Pancake Tent have increased significantly while the quality has fallen significantly.

No control on underage children on motorized vehicles. Numerous incidents of close call and observed falls. Will not return

Awesome location for the Mount Rushmore but there were millions of wasps (yellowjackets) around, it was impossible to sit outside with a drink at any time without constant harassment from the little yellow blighters!!

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Excellent service. The resort is awesome and well kept; we loved all The amenities and activities. Shout out to Lenny who checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed!

We are return campers, we enjoy staying here. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Our only concern this year is, what happened to the rainfall shower heads? We were disappointed that they weren't there. Hopefully, you'll put them back.

One of my favorite campgrounds! The surroundings are breathtaking, nestled in the Black Hills- a short distance from Mt. Rushmore. The staff are friendly and I love that there are places to eat on the grounds, a wonderful store and things to do.

Whole park in a low spot. No internet signal. Park wifi didnt work. We were parked in the back by a large field. People let their dogs run loose. Some didnt pick up after them

the staff are super friendly and take care of everything. You don't even have to take out the trash, just set it out and it disappears. The pups loved the dog park too!

Loved the park and the workers. We would likely time it outside of the Sturgis Bike celebration next time. It was very busy in and around the campground. That said, kudos to the staff for expertly managing the volume of traffic and the thunderstorms! Bathrooms were immaculate - cleanest I’ve seen in years! Only reason not a 10/5 was the volume of traffic.

Everything was just fine. I had aRV site but tent camped in the same spot as always. Bathrooms were nice and clean, food was also good. It was very dry but mother nature has to help with that. Already booked again for next years rally.

It's a very large park...I had minimal interaction with admission, but they were very professional. Never spoke with management.But that's a good thing.. Wherever I went , everywhere was clean , clean clean..

Great place, lots to do and see! The only thing I wish for was a sidewalk from campsites 30-36 to the bathroom and not a long road around all the RV’s!

The staff was absolutely fantastic! However the site we were in was a bit hard to get into and out of. But overall the kampground and its amenities are wonderful! It’s really great if you have kids!

It has lots of fun things for the kids to enjoy!! Overall it was an amazing campground and would've given it a 5 star except for the showers. They had lots of mold in them.

The yellow jackets terrorized my kids and us the whole stay, also I had to pay for some of the kid’s activities which are free at other KOA’s.

Beautiful resort and campground. So many things for kids to do. Had a great time on the Trail Ride. Lilian and Chloe were awesome. We also really enjoyed the water slide and put put golf.

This was our 1st time to stay at Palmer Gulch KOA. We stayed 5 nights. While staying there we wished we were able to stay more nights just to continue in joying the amenities available there. The grounds were well cared for with lots of opportunities. I have already recommended friends to stay at Palmer Gulch in the future. We also hope to return soon,

everything was wonderful. Please work on a cell tower. i love to pass your place to my friends going out there but i do worn them about the lack of service. it really is a deal breaker. other than that everything was great. thank you too the staff you keep a clean campground

Every year we keep coming back here, it's always our favorite vacation! Because of all the amenities you offer and the great service from everyone we run into. Thank you for making so many improvements every year from the new pool, playgrounds and tiled bathrooms! Thank you for all the wonderful memories you've given us here every year, you are the BEST KOA in the USA!

This jam packed KOA has it all. 2 pools. Waterslide. Playgrounds. Restaurants on the property. Horseback riding. Rodeo. UTV rentals. Lots of activities for the kids. Bounce pillow. It's right down the road from Mount Rushmore. Bathrooms were cleaned regularly. Cell phone reception is pretty poor, but you can't blame KOA. WiFi is pretty good if you are near their hotspots. There was always KOA employees ripping around, which they should slow down a little bit. We did experience the bees as mentioned by other reviewers. Everyone had a great time and we enjoyed our stay.

Great first experience with KOA! The reservation process was easy, and changing our dates was very convenient. Communication with Dee Dee before arrival was excellent, and check-in was quick and easy. The campground was clean, especially the bathrooms, and all the guests were very respectful. The sites are a little close together, so I would probably avoid the busy summer season. Overall, we were very impressed and would definitely stay here again!
