Beautiful RV Resort, staff were friendly and helpful, especially Lenny Handfinger. Only issue stopping it from being a five was the weak unreliable WI-FI.

Friendly staff. Beautiful grounds; well maintained and clean. Pools and playgrounds were clean and looked to be new. So many on sure activities and events offered. The Chuck Wagon Dinner was amazing. My daughter's enjoyed horse back riding and the rodeo was fun for the whole family. Only complaint was the wifi barely worked.

Wonderful location, staff, amenities can’t say enough about Palmer Gulch! You can rent a car, golf cart, atv, trail ride or see a rodeo! Lots of activities if you have kids

The people were the best part. Great staff who go above and beyond. My negative is between all our groups we had 6 cabins and each had a mouse problem, so that should be addressed

We had a huge group of family together from SD, MN, MN and CO such an amazing trip. Every staff member were very attentive. Highly recommend.

My only complaint is that our site was noted as 48 ft. Our bus is 40 ft and we took up the entire site, nose to tail. Anyone in a larger bus would be blocking the road and it wouldn’t be their fault.

Stayed in deluxe cabin with my grandchildren and it was wonderful. This was my second year at the Palmer, Gulch, KOA, and the first time I went to the rodeo there and that was also amazing. This was a good spot to be because it was central to a lot of things that we wanted to see and do.

This is a beautiful place but were worried about the people riding recombant and pedal car bikes the camp hands out-these bikes were ridden on main roads used by drivers and were hard to see. Our biggest complaint is that the lights on the outside of the bathroom/shower houses are VERY bright at night. They shined right into campers and cabins and made it impossible to stargaze at night. Timers?

This is our 7th summer at this KOA with our 6 kids (now aged 13-7). We love the pools, jump pillow, pancake breakfast, golf cart rentals, and most importantly the rodeo! The kids are so safe to run around all day exploring and having fun. It’s truly one of our favorite places and we live in Colorado! There’s nothing like the black hills!

Overall our stay was excellent. Everyone we encountered was very nice and helpful. We loved the variety of amenities, especially the onsite stables and UTV rentals. Couple of things that would have made it even better - update laundry facilities to app-run machines (easier to pay and track status); improve wifi throughout.

We had a great stay. We enjoyed the rodeo, MT Rushmore mini golf, and the Presidential wax museum. The staff was friendly and kelp us well informed. A special call out to the park manager Jeff Warner! The way he handled the fact that there was a broke down RV in our spot upon arrival will be remembered for years! Thank you Jeff! Corporate KOA will be getting a follow up email!

Stay was good. There was a time when staff were playing music at the activity pavilion and music with swearing came on. Once the next song came on and had swearing as well we asked them to change it. They did right away. But should be aware that most of us have little families that don't want that played. Overall stay was great.

Too many E bikes and E scooters weaving in and out of traffic and through campsites. Upon checkout we tried to book our same spot (344) for next year but were told that entire row is closed for construction next June. I’m concerned that more site are going to be developed in the grass field behind our site and that will change the entire camping experience for us.

We loved it here. Super nice. Well maintained. Lots to do in the campground and surrounding areas. We had a back in patio site and could view the horses on the trail ride. That was a nice bonus. I e would definitely stay here again

The staff was always friendly and helpful. There are so many on-site activities and events. The facilities were clean and the grounds were well maintained. Multiple new playground structures. The campground is centrally located for so many things - Hill City, Mt Rushmore, Needles Hwy, Custer State Park and so much more. The wifi barely
