Staying here is like being in a beautiful state park, but with great extras. We loved the long hiking trails through the woods and kayaking on the big lake. The $5 Saturday lunch and Sunday breakfast were wonderful. The sites are large and level with nice grass areas.

We stayed for 3 nights. Grounds are lovely. Staff is very helpful and quick to respond to any problems, like our water hose leaking. Staff member put in a new gasket and had it fixed before we even returned to our site!

Had a great stay while in town. The staff is very friendly and on top of their game. We really enjoyed our stay here. The grounds are kept up and maintained extremely well. Very happy!

We had wonderful stay and enjoyed the campground. The dogs really had fun in the big dog park. Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful.

Excellent campground! Can't wait to return. Very friendly and helpful staff. Variety of amenities. Clean facilities. Stocked camp store. Excellent location in middle of town, yet you feel like your miles away in a secluded wooded paradise with wildlife, a private lake to fish and kayak on, hiking/biking trails, and a calendar of activities to get involved in. Highly recommend staying here!

We would highly recommend.We were very impressed by the appearance of the campground and friendliness of the staff.The driver (he had a gray beard) that took us to the site,let us know of what see/eat, also informed us that a free WiFi modem is available free from the office. Ken and Jimmye helped us throughout our stay with area info, campsite help and answering ? on KOA points.

What a great campground! We really enjoyed our stay. Ken was so helpful when we had a problem with our cable and Jimmy was very knowledgeable in the office. Great customer service. Campground was very clean and well kept and location was convenient to attractions. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

Loved our pull through site. Everything was clean. Loved the deer across the creek every day. Trees on site were nice. Wide, private, flat sites. The speed bumps were a little harsh, but did the job. We will be back & will tell others about y’all.

This is the nicest KOA I’ve ever been to. The staff is amazingly friendly. You get a warm welcome as you step in the office. Everything is explained and you are escorted to your site. Terry helped us obtain the use of a ladder so we could fix our topper over our slide. The grounds are maticiously kept up. Loved the swings by the lake. Wagon ride to Oakland Plantation was very informative. 10 ��

The campground is extremely clean the staff personnel and very friendly and accommodating to any need you have !!! The shower haouses are very well maintained !! The nicest people pick up your trash at your campsite as soon as you put it out by your site !! We will be returning and telling everyone we see Shared our experience there at a rest area on the way home to a couple who are new to camping

This is the nicest KOA campground we have had the pleasure of staying in. The grounds are immaculate, there are tons of activities for everyone young and old, and the staff is over-the-top friendly and accommodating. The location on the lake is picturesque and you'd never guess you are just a short distance from US-17 in the heart of Mt. Pleasant. We'd definitely stay again!

We had the most wonderful stay here, we stayed in site 71 which is an end unit with a lake view. It is improved with a patio, wonderful seating including glider chairs and a swing right on the water. They gave us a complimentary bundle of firewood with this site. It's very quiet here and is dark with not a lot of light pollution coming in through the shades. The pool was open but it was cool so we didn't use it. the walking path along the lake was pleasant and we saw lots of turtles and water birds. It is a gated park and felt very safe. We previously stayed at a different KOA on the other side of town and we're so glad we found this place. There is a fantastic dog park with two separate areas, one has access to the water, the fencing actually extends into the water for safe playing.

We really liked this KOA. Great location to check out Patriot Point, and they have a lot of things to do. They have a great trail to walk your BFF on and a beautiful lake. I wish the dog park had 2 separate doors to it so you don't have to let your dog in with other dogs. Many good things to do at this park! Enjoy!!

The staff at KOA Mount Pleasant truly enjoy what they do! It shows in how you are treated and the thoughtful things they do to ensure you enjoy your stay. We have stayed here many times over the last 15 years. The sites are spacious, clean and beautiful. The facilities are clean and well kept and fully stocked. Thanks for another enjoyable stay
