Mount Pleasant / Charleston KOA Holiday General Information

Please remember that the campground's Guest Policy states that there are only 6 people allowed on any site.  This number includes registered guests, so for example, if there are 3 people registered to the site, there would only be 3 guests allowed from off of the campground..  You would not be allowed to invite the entire team back to the campground.

When making a reservation for a motorhome towing, please include the entire length, motorhome with car attached.

Generators are not allowed to be run on the campground.

SUNDAY - THURSDAY:  8:00 A.M. TO 7:30 P.M.

FRIDAY AND SATURDAY:  8:00 A.M. TO 8:00 A.M.

There is a mix up in the amenities of the caboose.  There is no cooktop in the caboose.

Check-in time on all sites is 1:00 p.m., check-out time is 12:00 p.m.
Check-in time on all cabins is 4:00 p.m., check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

It is against South Carolina Law to feed or harass alligators.  There is zero tolerance in the campground with regard to  harassment/feeding/fishing for alligators.  Anyone harrissing/feeding/fishing for alligators will be asked to leave the campground.

ABSOLUTELY NO PORTABLE HOT TUBS OR POOLS ALLOWED ON THE CAMPGROUND

PIT BULLS, STAFFORDSHIRE TERRIERS, AMERICAN BULL DOGS, OR ANY MIX THEREOF, ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. THERE HAVE BEEN FOUR (4) SEPARATE, UNPROVOKED INCIDENTS WITH THESE BREEDS. IF YOU ARRIVE AT THE CAMPGROUND WITH ANY OF THESE BREEDS, OR MIX, YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY.

Pool opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes approximately 30 minutes prior the store closing or at dusk.  The pool opens for the season on March 1 and closes for the season Oct 1, but may be open longer if weather permits.

There is a three (3) pet limit in all cabins. Deluxe units: $25 per pet per stay.  Rustic and Rustic Plus: $20 per pet per stay.  Please call the campground with any questions or concerns.

In order to maintain a welcoming environment for all guests and employees, we ask that no one on the property display any racially charged or political signs, flags or banners.

CHECK-IN ON ALL CABINS IS 4:00 PM.    CHECK-OUT IS 11:00 AM.

Check-in for sites is 1:00 pm; check-out is 12:00 pm.
Check-in for rental units is 4:00 pm; check-out is 11:00 am.
Quiet Time: 10:00 pm to 8:00 am, for the comfort of all guests. Children are required to be on their sites during quiet time hours unless accompanied by an adult. 
Only 2 vehicles per site. VEHICLES MUST BE PARKED ON THE GRAVEL, NOT ON THE GRASS. There will be an $8 charge for a third vehicle registered to any site/cabin. The third vehicle will not be allowed to park on the site and must be parked in our overflow parking area. All boats will be required to be parked in the overflow parking area. No exceptions.

Maximum of 6 people per site. All rates are based on a family of four; 2 adults and 2 children. Additional adults are $8/ea/night, additional kids are $6/ea/night, and kids 5 and under are free.

Please do not cut through camper's sites; stay on the campground roads.

You are welcome to bring your golf cart; however, it can only be operated by a licensed driver, 18 and older. A copy of your insurance certificate and driver's license are required.

Discharging of firearms on the campground is not allowed.

For your safety, motorized scooters are not allowed.

All boats on the campground must be stored in the temporary storage area.  This policy applies to all sites, rv, cabin and tent.  Please do not hesitate to call the campground with any questions for concerns.

All rates are based on two (2) adults and two (2) children.  All rates are subject to change.  The rate you pay during your stay is the rate that is in place at the time of your stay, not when the reservation was made.

Excludes Cabin and tent sites, Sept. 10 & 11

IF YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR PET AND HAVE A PORTABLE DOG RUN, PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE RUN MUST BE FREE STANDING.  NO STAKES CAN BE PUT IN THE GROUND AS THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT YOU WILL HIT A CABLE OR FIBER OPTICS LINE.

IN ORDER TO AVOID HITTING THE FIBER OPTICS IN THE CAMPGROUND, WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT DRIVE STAKES IN THE GROUND TO SECURE YOUR CANOPIES.  THEY MUST BE FREE STANDING.

There will be an increase to all rates effective March 1, 2024, and will apply to all 2024 REGISTRATIONS, regardless of when the reservation was made. The rate you pay will depend on the time of season you are on the campground as a registered guest.

All visitors are required to register themselves and their vehicle and obtain a car tag.

Quiet Time: 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. All children must be on their sites during quiet time hours unless accompanied by an adult. No bike riding during quiet time hours.

RV & Tent Sites:  Full 48 hours prior to arrival, deposit is refunded less a $10 transaction fee.  Cancellations within 48 hours prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Cabins:   Eight days prior to arrival, deposit is refunded less a $10 transaction fee.  Cancellations 7 days prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of the deposit

The campground has laundry facilities on-site, open 24/7

Bikes after dark must have a front and rear light.  All bikes must be on site during quiet time hours, 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Tents are not allowed on sites with RVs or Cabins. Tents must be on tent sites.

Tent sites are primitive, there is no water or electric on any of the tent sites.  Generators are not allowed.  Please use the campground roads to get to the restrooms, do not cut through sites.

Have a router?  Bring it along.  The campground has installed fiber optics to each site, all you need is an ethernet cable and a router.  Lightening fast!

Care Camps Weekend is May 12 and 13.  Pay for Friday night, May 12, and get Saturday night, May 13, for a $20 donation to Care Camps.  Cabins and Tent sites are excluded from this offer.

PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THE CAMPGROUND'S RV SITES ARE NOT SET UP AS CHARGING STATIONS FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES, SO YOU WILL  NOT BE ABLE TO CHARGE YOUR VEHICLE AT YOUR SITE.
