Organized activities start on Memorial Weekend and run thru Labor Day. Jenny and Buddy, our Activities Directors, have an amazing list of activities to keep every one busy, such as: Movie night, popcorn and sno-cones, bike parade around the campground, crafts, hike on the nature trail. Come join the fun!

Catch a big bass in our private 30 acre fishing lake, or sit back and just enjoy the view! Fishing is catch and release only.
On our walking trail you will experience the best that the South Carolina lowcountry has to offer! First you will pass by our private fishing lake where you could see heron, ducks, bass, and possibly the occasional alligator. Follow the markers through the woods and read about the local history, vegetation, and birds of this area. Sit beside the marshlands and watch the tides rise and fall. Keep a close eye out for deer!!
Rent a paddle boat, canoe or kayak and cruise around our 30 acre fishing lake. Catch some fish or just enjoy the local wildlife!
The swimming pool is open March 1 to Nov. 1, it is not heated.

The campground is conveniently located to numerous fantastic restaurants and shopping in the area. Looking for great seafood? Head to Shem Creek, you can't go wrong.
Charleston offers a wide variety of Ghost Tours throughout the city and some buildings. Patriots Point also offers ghost tours of the Yorktown.
Enjoy the day riding a berg or banana bike throughout the campground. The kids love it!
Just a short 10 mile drive to downtown Charleston where you can enjoy shopping, restaurants and history.
There are many beautiful plantations in the area. Magnolia, Middleton, Drayton Hall, to name a few. Stop in the office for information on plantations close by.
The Hunley, the first successful combat submarine, is displayed in a 75,000-gallon tank. View artifacts found during excavation, climb inside and crank a Hunley model and enjoy interactive exhibits for all ages. A fantastic way to spend the day.

There are several beautiful county parks nearby that are great for hiking, biking and birding.
The beautiful Isle of Palms Beach is a mere 6 miles south of the campground. Hit one of the many restaurants for a beautiful ocean view as you enjoy your food and drink.
Take a day and visit Patriots Point and the Yorktown Aircraft Carrier. You can also visit the Vietnam Memorial while there.
