The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The activity director is amazing. We didn’t want to leave because we were enjoying ourselves so much.

Easy check in, beautiful campground and amenities! We had site 63, right at the lake. Beautiful views, quiet and great trails around the area.

Nice quiet spot, 15-20 mins to downtown Charleston. Plenty of other stuff to do locally. Hopefully internet get better in the future but all in all a great park. Great service and very clean. Definitely will stay again…

We were quite disappointed this stay. Being handicapped, we chose a specific cabin close to handicap facility. Why closed 3/4 & leave one non-handicap open? It was also very annoying having to continuously listen to the same employee go on to others about her personal life; one point blocking store door w her court story. And the no toilet paper, that topped it. Not a happy camper.

Very hospitable and helpful. However, disappointing that 3 of the 4 showers in the new bathhouse were out of order and hooks to hang your clothes, towel and toiletries on were insufficient or none at all.

I like this KOA, but I will say at the very end of my recent stay, I was not pleased. I left the campsite around 10:30, came bc I had forgotten a blanket, and by 1:30 that same day it was no where to be found. I find it really weird bc I was only there in that cabin for one night. The front desk staff was not as helpful as they could’ve been and were quite defensive. 3/5

wonderful stay--love coming there. Staff so helpful and nice. The only need for improvement was the showers. The water was cold in the showers.

I have stayed at several KOAs around the US and this is my favorite so far. The grounds were beautiful and clean, The facilities were also very clean, and the staff was so nice and helpful. The cabin we stayed in was lovely and clean and had such lovely features such as a mini fridge and AC/heat. Thank You so much Mount Pleasent/Charelston KOA!! We will be back for sure.

There's a reason we love this place so much, the staff is awesome and they even went over to give our grandson his own special vehicle pass for his electric tracker that he was proud to have to display, thumbs up to everyone there

I arrived very late for my stay. Normally, the staff directs campers to their spot. If I arrived earlier, i would have been able to see the tree roots, and the trip hazard that it causes. I would have requested another site. The online booking indicated few camp sites available when i booked. However, during my entire stay, there were multiple open sites the whole time. Otherwise, I enjoyed my sta

Bath house was filthy. Paid the higher price expecting a premium lot.

The campground offers deluxe sites and premium deluxe sites. When you made your reservation online, you chose a deluxe site. This would be reflected on your email confirmation.

Just perfect. Not much more than just perfect. Would have liked to been by the lake for the 7 days there though. Koa website should let you choose your spot.

You absolutely can choose a site, as long it is available at the time you make your reservation. It's called "select my site" and is a one time charge of $30.

Wonderful property. Very well kept. We were impressed with the staffs presence on the grounds. Each was kind and extremely helpful. Campstore was the best we’ve seen. Very well stocked with last minute supplies etc. Highly recommend. A+

We had the most wonderful stay here, we stayed in site 71 which is an end unit with a lake view. It is improved with a patio, wonderful seating including glider chairs and a swing right on the water. They gave us a complimentary bundle of firewood with this site. It's very quiet here and is dark with not a lot of light pollution coming in through the shades. The pool was open but it was cool so we didn't use it. the walking path along the lake was pleasant and we saw lots of turtles and water birds. It is a gated park and felt very safe. We previously stayed at a different KOA on the other side of town and we're so glad we found this place. There is a fantastic dog park with two separate areas, one has access to the water, the fencing actually extends into the water for safe playing.

We really liked this KOA. Great location to check out Patriot Point, and they have a lot of things to do. They have a great trail to walk your BFF on and a beautiful lake. I wish the dog park had 2 separate doors to it so you don't have to let your dog in with other dogs. Many good things to do at this park! Enjoy!!

The staff at KOA Mount Pleasant truly enjoy what they do! It shows in how you are treated and the thoughtful things they do to ensure you enjoy your stay. We have stayed here many times over the last 15 years. The sites are spacious, clean and beautiful. The facilities are clean and well kept and fully stocked. Thanks for another enjoyable stay
