The park was clean and we didn't have any issues, except that laundry is locked until the office opens and that means we would be delaying our trip just to finish laundry. Maybe a coded lock like the bathrooms would be useful so people staying just the one night can get their chores done. Otherwise a great KOA.

This KOA was much more quiet compared to other KOAs. The street lamp was annoying overhead. I was in a pull through, so nice! Plumbing in women's facilities could use an upgrade...much of the time the commodes were unusable. Cheaper, thinner toilet paper might help, and possibly signs to flush more than once while using, so as not to gum up things. very friendly staff!! High fives!!

I've stayed at Apache Junction KOA now 3 times. Very clean, very well kept and easy in and easy out. The people are wonderful. Will be headed back next month.

Nice pool. Wonderful hot tub. Clean showers. Wi fi in back of park should be stronger. Easy check in without a res was made very nice with check in lady. Would definitely stay again.

The campground was well kept, clean. Site was sized right. Only issue was no phone communication. Tried over 5 times to reach out. Email response was only way. Manager was hyper effiçient.

The staff there are great! Very friendly and personable. I had to stay longer than expected, and didn't have reservations but they accommodated anyway. It's a very clean quiet place too

Rude KOA employee spoiled our stay and left a “never again” taste in our mouths. He scolded us for wanting to use the community dump station when exiting instead of the receptacle at our site. We didn’t want to do a tank wash at the site and attach our black hose to the potable water faucet. We couldn’t explain as he was too busy lecturing us. Too bad, decent enough for 1 night. WiFi

It's 30 mins from Phoenix and is a pretty quiet place, which is why I keep going back.

Very nice large & wide pull through sites. Campground well maintained & nice check in experience. However, men's restroom needs a facelift, dog park also needs improvements, Wi Fi very poor, you shouldn't have to go to the office or pool to get better reception and cable/satellite TV needs to be added. I don't how you can be classified as a KOA Journey without these necessary improvements.

The wi-fi is terrible, it was totally useless. That pretty much ruined our stay. The rest of the site was nicely maintained.

We loved our stay! The staff was friendly and helpful. The campsite was clean and easy to enter/exit. I wish the pool would be open just an hour later, but I understand the noise concern. Overall we are definitely looking to return in the future.

Super clean and well taken care of. Every encounter with staff was friendly and came with a smile. Pool area was very clean and a joy to partake. Highly recommend this camp and will be back.

they stole 65.00 from us, they charged us for 2 days then would not give us our money back. the old fart on the golf cart was the rudest man we seen in 18 koas.we will never stop at another one.

Had a great stay there. Only problem we had was with the bugs. Bought ice and water there at the campground and there were bugs in the ice. �Ͻ In the shower rooms too but not as big of a deal as in the ice. Very nice campground to stay at. Easy to park in.

Our spot was awesome, near the pool and bathrooms. Folks are super friendly and helpful. Pool and bathrooms were clean. Pools was warm. Good location for sightseeing in the area. Definitely will stop and stay again when in the area.

An acceptable gravel KOA on a main road. Stayed here mid-Jan 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. All gravel. Site #41. General: It's an acceptable option to see some local stuff. The area smells bad some days. Staff: Staff are very nice and helpful. Sites: Our site (#41) was very spacious and had LOTS of room behind it all the way to the retaining wall at the main road. Had daily trouble with folks site cutting with dogs off-leash, and most were repeatedly disrespectful when asked to use the campground road to access the area. Campground Road: Paved/gravel mix. Campground WiFi: Could not connect on any attempt for thee 14 nights. Grounds: Clean and maintained really well. But definitely needs updating. Bathrooms/Showers: Shower stalls in an open bathroom environment. Poorly light showers. Laundry: 6 washers (a couple did not work well) and 2 working dryers (1 was out of order). Pool: Did not use. Location: 3-5 min from gas and groceries. 20 min to Lost Dutchman, 45 to Casa Grande NM, 1hr 20min to Tonto. 25-35 min to Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. Near highway: Yes. Close to highway and highway noise if that bothers you. Near train: No. Cell: Verizon worked but the signal is deceiving. Spotty and caused issues with meetings cutting out. Could stream but with buffering. Cell: AT&T worked best and could work on vpn and uninterrupted Zoom calls. Could also stream movies.
