I had a really great experience here! The pool, hot tub, and showers were all very clean. The camp host stayed available late into the night to help with late check in. Everyone on staff was friendly! Would love to stay again. If the campground ever expands, would love to see small A-frame cabins more suited for 1-2 people. Also, I think a water bottle fill station or water fountain would be great

Staff friendly. Cabin clean & comfortable enough, though infested w pestering mosquito hawks. Most crowded KOA we’ve ever stayed at. Proximity to neighbors is insanely close, no privacy. Pool/hot tub constantly packed w multitudes of kids/people. Bathrooms lines of 3+ people waiting for shower & sinks overtaken by groups of women who treated it as their own personal bathroom & social hangout.

We had a wonderful getaway in the cute little cabin. The staff members were exceptional, very helpful. Pool was lovely, bathrooms very clean. I did notice that the tent sites were small and quite close together, so it wouldn't be my choice if I needed a tent site (as I usually do). For us, everything was great. My granddaughter didn't want to leave.

I loved my little camping cabin and had a good night of rest. The other campers were respectful and didn't make noise. The picnic table and grill are convenient, the pool is nice, staff are friendly, and the bathrooms are kept exceptionally clean! Thank you! This KOA is always my stop when I travel to the Salt River to see the wild horses.

We enjoyed the kabin and loved waking up to the sun rising. The grill was perfect for us to put a kettle on and have hot chocolate and oatmeal for breakfast.

It was good but would like to see cabins with bathrooms added. Also, a free cup of coffee in the morning would be nice for people in camping cabins that have no coffee pot microwave or refrigerator.

Very good only improvement I would make is the beds in the Cabins, Very uncomfortable mattresses. Other than that everything was excellent.

We had a wonderful experience at the campground. The warm welcome, clean and cozy cabin, tidy bathrooms, and the added bonus of a hot tube for my husband after a chilly day at the Mesa Marathon. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Overall it was a fantastic place to stay. Thanks!

The basic camping cabin was just what my wife and I were hoping for. The portable space heater supplied by KOA was more than adequate to keep us warm in January. If you’re used to a soft mattress like I am, I recommend you bring a memory foam mattress topper along with your bedding from home. Cabin was clean, warm, and close to the pool/hot tub/bathroom area.

Our stay was wonderful. We felt welcome, and safe. All facilities were easily available and clean and worked well. We stayed in cabin number two. The staff and the facilities felt like family.

terrible ,worst koa i ever stayed at, i will never come back . there were several issues but the biggest issue was they charged me $27.50 pet fee to stay one night in a camping cabin. lets say they pay their labor $15.00 /hr which i doubt but to think they would spend an extra 2hrs cleaning the camping cabin because of my dog. what a rip off and they are definitely not dog friendly.

I appreciated the front office working with me so pleasantly because I was a high maintenance guest in so far as my registration needs, and I loved where my Kamping Kabin was located and the children's play ground (complete with merry-go-round: yay!) was great! Thank you! KOA's are the best!!!

We opted for a cabin for ease. There are a few delux tent spaces with shade, chairs, bbqs and tables. Bathrooms are very clean and updated.

Everyone was so nice. The campground is well cared for. We stayed in a cabin and my only complaint is that the bed was very creaky and thin.

I stayed in cabin 4 and the bed was pretty hard and uncomfortable. I didn’t sleep very well at all. However I have stayed at multiple KOA’s throughout the last few years and I love them.

We've stayed at AJ KOA several times over the last six years. This time we stayed in a camping cabin. The cabin was extremely clean. The bed was excruciatingly uncomfortable. Bathrooms were clean, but seemed to be a little worn (door latches were loose, one toilet running all the time). Didn't use other facilities. Overall, a good stay, just a little slip on the normal attention to detail.

I appreciated that all the facilities were very clean. It appeared to be part of the culture. I saw someone raking the grounds after each person left. Bathrooms and laundry were very clean even with a very full camp.

Nice campground. The site that we had wasn't very level, which is always frustrating considering the amount of money that we paid for the site. Other than that, it was a nice campground.
