Two room cabin stay… only the back room was air conditioned so we had to keep the door open (shouldnt have paid the extra $30 for separate rooms) the porch looks out on a lovely trash pile and dumpster plus road dust made it impossible to enjoy. The amenities were nice though. Cafe on site (they deliver to your spot) pool, activities, helpful staff. Lots of road noise from the highway.

Sites VERY narrow. Neighbor parked 2 trucks next to us, We had to walk around the front of our coach to get to our car that was parked behind motorhome. Internet not working, cable came in snowy. Picnic table far back of motorhome next to neighbors sewer hose. Had to walk around front of coach to get to that too. $75 for what??? Not coming back.

The staff was very friendly upon our arrival. The campsite was very clean and shady. I know people complained in the past about the noisy highway but that wasn’t bad at all. We have had far more noise in other places. We were very pleased with this KOA.

It is by the freeway, but if your a/c is on, you can't hear the traffic in the cabins. Staff is so friendly and kind.

After driving for hours to make it to the park for our reservation, they turned us away because they said their insurance carrier wouldn’t allow our sweet dog. She is the most gentle dog and well trained. Their policies are discriminatory and we do not recommend staying there if you have a pet. They did not disclose their pet policy when booking and taking our money. Truly despicable!

Sites are too close together. We would have burned up our camper if we had used the fire pit. We couldn’t open our awning all the way because it would touch our neighbor’s rig. WiFi was down and it seemed there wasn’t much of a concern to get it back up. Lots of trash around the pool and patio furniture was pretty dirty. Pretty sure we will look elsewhere.

Wonderful Campground very clean well managed. Everyone on staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended you get the Barbecue it was so good we ordered it again the second night.

Nice area to camp and the train was a on schedule like before during last visit. Staff helpful and store was loaded with ice cream goodies.

I’ve stayed here a few times. Always clean, safe and quiet. Great kitchen for dinner and breakfast. Clean showers and restrooms. Large pool and lots of fun. The ++++ for me retuning is the two ladies who run the front office (check-in area). I needed to change my site because it was a “severe heat warning” day. They immediately said, “let’s find a shaded site”….. and did in 5 mins.

For a Journey location this KOA is nice. Pool is beautiful. They have a restaurant for breakfast and dinner with reasonable prices and good food. The offer ear plugs for the highway noise but I can tell you we have been to many KOAs and this one is not as close to highway as others. Great place. Should be a Holiday location.

Great KOA. Clean restrooms and showers. Clean pool. Friendly staff. They gave us much local guidance. Very extremely well groomed and maintained campground. 5 star.

Nice size spots by front office for our 35ft 5th wheel. Nice dog park but needs cleaning up the whole place needs a power wash. pool nice but not very clean. bathrooms were clean. Laundry very nice. $3.00 a load is a bit steep tho. we were at site 49 very nice space.

This KOA is a terrific place with all sorts of extras. The only negative things are that the WiFi did not work, and the pool was cloudy our second day where you could not see your feet in the 3 foot area. We would stay here again since it so close to our relatives in Marion.

We walked in and there was a long line to check in. We had driven 450 miles and were hot and tired. Apparently, not staff fault but her computer froze; hence the long line. She was by herself, trying to help and answering phones. Finally she asked if anyone was checking in. She then moved the problem over and helped. I prepaid so no problem. Site was great, shaded, easy hookups, everything close.

I am sure your KOA is fine. It's just that we arrived in a thunderstorm which did cool the temp for a while, but then the sun came back out along with mosquitoes! Because of the heat we had all the van doors open which invited all the mosquitoes. Impossible to sleep!. Finally, at 4 A.M. we left and arrived at Checotah/Lake Eufaula West KOA where we got a deluxe cabin andenjoyed the shower and air

Too expensive for a journey and they charged an extra $5.51 for my small toy poodle to do her business on their weeds. There was no grass. Too many rules. You can tell they are owned and operated by a corporation.

Shower facilities need updating but functional and clean. Had minor issue on site and staff responded quickly and corrected the issue.

This place is pretty awesome. Friendly staff, playground for the kids, dog park, nice pool, campers kitchen, Cafe that serves breakfast daily and dinner too!! Delivered to your door!! Nice level camper spots, convenience store with plenty of necessities, propane filling. It is close to the highway, but still two thumbs up from me.

I am not one to give reviews. However. It is imperative to let you all know that this place,hospitality, and staff members are the best!! It is a veteran friendly, and definitely a family type atmosphere!! The staff, superb. I was in a needy type situation, and they made it work for all of us! Thank you so much for making this Veteran feel at home!! I would rate it a ten!!! Will definitely stop back if in the area again! Thank you so much!!

We stayed here for a month and had the misfortune to have our big rear window shattered by a rock thrown by a weekeater. Although this was a bad situation, Manager, Nicole, was absolutely wonderful. She gave us the names of dependable mobile repair companies, assured us that they would be financially responsible and blocked off our site incase we were unable to leave on our planned departure date. We have stayed here many times over the last 6 years. It's always a comfortable stay but it's good to know that they really take care of their guests.
