Bathrooms are nice, staff is friendly and helpful. The roads are all gravel, not the best for kids riding bikes. Our tent site was at the bottom of the campground hill, with a walk slightly up to the bathrooms (a little far for a late night tinkle.) The campground is kept clean, and is located a short drive to Chattanooga & local areas.

We always have a wonderful time at KOA Lookout Mountain. We appreciate the friendly staff, well kept facilities, and beautiful views. Highlights are always the jumping pillow, the hiking trail, and the meadow. We weren’t prepared for the noise from the nearby drive-in as we’ve never stayed while they were open before. Not KOA’s fault but definitely something to be aware of.

We loved our stay at lookout mountain KOA! The bathrooms were well kept, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the activities for the kids were great for our little one! We would definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed my (2) one night stays - coming and going from Greensboro to Houston. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Very clean bathrooms and loved the nature trail.

Great location. We stayed in a tent site and it was beautiful and felt private. There are clean bathrooms and the front store/desk had helpful items for sale if needed. The woman at the front office was above and beyond kind and helpful.

We had a great time but were very disappointed that the bathrooms near the tent sites were closed for construction considering that was a selling point for us staying at your campground. The dog park is amazing - better than the kids playground. People were friendly. Would have been perfect if we didn’t have to hike so far up a hill to the bathrooms.

Loved our stay! The staff was so friendly. Our campsite was shaded and quiet and we LOVED the nice bath house! The private, full sized shower/sinks were so clean and roomy.

We love it here. It’s beautiful and the nature trail is our favorite- well, after the jumping pillow. October is a beautiful month to camp. We know the Halloween festivities are fun for so many, but they’re not for us. We don’t have to participate but some of the other campers aren’t respectful of that choice. We probably won’t come in October again, which is a bummer, we wish just one

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the property is very well maintained. My experience was very nice, about the only knock on the property is something they cannot change and that is the location. It is a bit off of the main road. Otherwise, very pleased with my stay.

I had a tent site. It felt private, but only because there was only 1 other group in the tent area. Had there been a group next to me, we would have been right on top of each other...a problem I note every time I think about booking KOA. Nearest bathroom to my site was closed during my stay. Really liked the main shower house, but it was far away and a scary to walk by myself in the dark.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The sites are nice and the shower house is clean and the shower rooms are spacious.

Arrived later than expected and only tent camped 1 night but it was a beautiful stay. The hosts were very friendly and the shower facilities top notch. I am planning a trip back there to stay a few days.

Very enjoyable and relaxing time. My stay I found the other campers to be very friendly and outgoing. The restrooms by the tent sites where I was are very clean and well kept. The showers are very clean and modern, all in all a very experience with the campground. I do recommend.

We enjoyed our stay, it was a slow weekend so it wasn’t crowded. However, I think if it was busy it wouldn’t have been as enjoyable because there’s a ton of sites really close together

The campground was nice for the most part. Employees were nice, and helpful with the power went out and our tent flooded. The small bathroom near the tent sites was the only disappointment - always filled with bugs.

It was great. Folks were friendly, facilities very clean. Our site "E" was shaded and private. If we had any suggestions at all it would be to level the actual tent pad. The slight slope was noticable. As far as a return trip. Definitely.

No major issues. The trash could be more conveniently located but we found it. Not having showers other than the main office is difficult but understandable.

We do try to camouflage the trash bins throughout the park. We do provide a map upon arrival to indicate locations of trash bins. We are not a huge campground, showers are centrally located. We appreciate the suggestions. Come back to see us, always something changing here.

Although the tent sites were a bit close to each other, they all were in the trees and close to the bathroom. Great campground, wonderfully kept facilities, awesome hospitality. Couldn’t ask for more!! Highly recommend.

Tent sites feel forgotten about. Wifi doesn't reach to them. The bathrooms were constantly stopped up.

This was a really great experience. Check in was easy and smooth, it was a little hard to find our site, but once we got the lay of the campground, it was easy. The bathrooms were ALWAYS clean which was absolutely amazing. The pool was so nice and also very clean. Overall, if we ever find ourselves in Chattanooga area again, we will definitely stay again!

The campground was nice with a lot of activities for the kids. My only issue was the wifi. The wifi was one of the main reasons we picked this site so we could se our son on TV but the signal was so week we couldn't stay connected. I told the office about the problem but they didn't act like it was that important.

Campground is ok, too bad pool was closed which we didn't know beforehand (was the sole reason for choosing this Campground over the cloudland state park)

More beautiful & tucked away than I expected for a KOA! This is a gem and very conveniently close to Lookout Mountain attractions such as Rock City Gardens (highly recommend). The shower house is extremely comfortable and clean. Seems very new! The room I happened to choose had a weird layout with the sink and mirror but after looking into the other empty ones I think it's the only one like that (pictured). Awesome kids play areas (my 5 and 8 year old especially loved the bounce bubble!) and even outdoor bowling! My daughter was thrilled to find a few green anoles among the natural landscape nearby. My only critique is that even though they don't have pre-assigned spots the said they couldn't put us and our friends on adjacent spots… even though no one was on the spot next to us. Haha Small potatoes and still a phenomenal location. We'll be traveling through this area in Jan. and my husband and I agreed we'd go out of our way to stay here again.

This campground is exceptional! You continuously see staff out working around the campground to keep it nice for the visitors. They have a wonderful playground for the kiddos and a very nice canine area for the dogs. You will see a touch of humor when you read the KOA signs and see the little twist of words. The bathrooms are very clean and each has a handicap seat. The showers have a full size locking door. Some rooms have a sink and toilet only, while others have the sink, toilet and shower combo. Quiet and laidback you will thoroughly enjoy your time here. Chattanooga is still close enough for dinner, shopping and sightseeing.

We loved the rustic, semi-private, walled-in sites. Lots of shade and very quiet. The showers could a shelf on the stalls, though. There was no place to rest soap and shampoo. Otherwise, the water was hot, the staff polite, and the amenities super clean.
