Very quiet with tiered camping spots. We had a wonderful visit. Salt water pool was heated and ready for use. Close to most of the tourist locations. Great staff who are very helpful.

Great campgrounds. This is one second visit to Lookout Mountain. The site was roomy and level Traveling in a 30ft 5 th wheel.

Arrived KOA at 6pm. We couldn’t believe how far away the KOA was from the interstate. We’re talking 20-25 minutes! And, the roads were so narrow. Office was closed. WIFI DIDNT WORK. NO CELL PHONE COVERAGE. Site was not long enough for our 45’ RV and Jeep. Had to park Jeep elsewhere.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

When booking reservations with us over the phone, our staff explains thoroughly about not having a site that a 45ft motorhome can tow into. We are only 2.5 miles off of I59, I'm not sure what campground you may be comparing us to.

Maiden run with a new to us travel trailer. Great campground. Friendly staff. Clean bathrooms and campground. Pool was great. We just had a great time and if coming to the area we will definitely be back! Close to everything. But far enough away. Thanks again.

This Kampground is well located to explore Chattanooga and North Georgia. They have a unique forest of bamboo surrounding the sites, and a nice pool area.

The grounds are nice and well maintained. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Our 7 yr old grandson enjoyed the pool and jumping pillow. He had his bike and we felt very safe allowing him to ride around the main areas on his own. This campground is about 20 minutes from Chattanooga, so the Aquarium, Ruby Falls, Rock City and the Medal of Honor Museum were easy to reach.

The bath house was such a nice experience. Even though we were in an RV with full bathroom, it was great to be able to get all 5 showered much faster by having a separate, safe, and clean space. The pool is really lovely, and so nice that it was not chlorinated! Our children loved the bounce pillow and the spider crawl, too!

The pool was really nice. My grandkids enjoyed the playground so much and the workers in the middle of store were so nice and friendly! We will definitely come back here someday!

Very friendly staff. Special shoutout to Dylan who helped me fix my awning wind sensor in the rain. I asked for a ladder to access it, and he came to my site without a ladder but suggested moving the picnic table over as a access platform and that worked great.

We had a nice pull-thru site for our 2 night stay. It was convenient to visit Lookout Mountain and Rock City.

We pulled in, desk help was really friendly, information was good. Pull thru site was more than generous for 30 ft 5th wheel and truck, we had no one around us. However if the site next to us had been used it would have been alittle close. Gravel and level I did not have to level side to side. Lot 73 actually had 2 clean outs. All in all a good stay

We just stayed overnight, but we left feeling we need to comeback and stay for a week. The campground was well maintained and it was very peaceful there.

Always a great place to stop in for us on the way home. Clean, store, playground and nice lots for the RV. Staff gave us a great recommendation for a local restaurant and it was great (BBQ). Look forward to the next visit.

We had a lovely stay, bathrooms were clean nice pool but not heated. Although it was nice and quiet, itwas just a little far from town .

We are in the foothills of the Appalachians. The closet grocery store is < 10 minutes. Chattanooga is about a 20 minute drive. I guess it depends on what you need to do as far as judging distance. We are the closet KOA to Chattanooga attractions. Sounds like you enjoyed your stay, overall.

From the time we checked in to the front desk your staff were welcoming and very pleasant. The camp was very clean, the river walk was just beautiful, and the pool with the current was a pleasant temperature also very clean.

We spent 2 nights at the campground. The campground was very clean and had great customer service! The laundry room and showers were all clean. Great place to stay!

We only stayed the night. We found this to be a nice quiet spot not to far off the highway, but far enough to be quiet.

Close to 24 and the middle of the smokey mountains this koa is very well run. I always stay there when traveling in my rv from Illinois to Florida. Its about half way too.

What a great great great KOA. Hands down the best KOA facility we have ever been in. We really prefer state and national parks over RV parks, but this KOA had the look and feel of a state park. When our travels bring us back this we you can be sure we will stay here again.

More beautiful & tucked away than I expected for a KOA! This is a gem and very conveniently close to Lookout Mountain attractions such as Rock City Gardens (highly recommend). The shower house is extremely comfortable and clean. Seems very new! The room I happened to choose had a weird layout with the sink and mirror but after looking into the other empty ones I think it's the only one like that (pictured). Awesome kids play areas (my 5 and 8 year old especially loved the bounce bubble!) and even outdoor bowling! My daughter was thrilled to find a few green anoles among the natural landscape nearby. My only critique is that even though they don't have pre-assigned spots the said they couldn't put us and our friends on adjacent spots… even though no one was on the spot next to us. Haha Small potatoes and still a phenomenal location. We'll be traveling through this area in Jan. and my husband and I agreed we'd go out of our way to stay here again.

This campground is exceptional! You continuously see staff out working around the campground to keep it nice for the visitors. They have a wonderful playground for the kiddos and a very nice canine area for the dogs. You will see a touch of humor when you read the KOA signs and see the little twist of words. The bathrooms are very clean and each has a handicap seat. The showers have a full size locking door. Some rooms have a sink and toilet only, while others have the sink, toilet and shower combo. Quiet and laidback you will thoroughly enjoy your time here. Chattanooga is still close enough for dinner, shopping and sightseeing.

We loved the rustic, semi-private, walled-in sites. Lots of shade and very quiet. The showers could a shelf on the stalls, though. There was no place to rest soap and shampoo. Otherwise, the water was hot, the staff polite, and the amenities super clean.
