The campground is very tight! Our site had very low water pressure. Staff said all sites had 50-60psi but our site was below 40. This caused use to not be able to use our on-demand water heater because it requires a minimum of 50 psi. No hot water or shower in our rig. They did offer to move us to a different site but the only one available was out in the open, no shade so we did not move.

Great facility. Sites were well thought out with enough space for unit and outside gear. One suggestion: Need paper towel dispensers in the rest rooms not just air dryers.

The park was clean and staff friendly. However the RV spots are not very level and the long steep road into the park is very difficult to navigate in an RV.

Our campsite was so beautiful and we were sorry we couldn't stay longer. Our kids loved being next to the playground. The patio is a great bonus to the site. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

Great sites, pool was awesome, and the staff were top notch. Love that the campground is close to Chattanooga where there is so much to do. Close to i24 and i59, easy on and off the exits. Can't wait to come back!

Easy check in and arrival, clean bathrooms, easy departure… all perfect for an overnight stay while traveling. The location and views are excellent too.

Very pleasant. Such nice staff also. Will be returning. I would also like to mention a worker by the name of Melissa. She went out of her way to help get some pine cones off my awning. She supplied me with her blower and guided me in helping me get on top of my RV to do the job. I surely, once again, thank you. A very big help in that situation.

This is the nicest KOA we have ever stayed at. Everything was very clean, the staff was extremely nice and accommodating. We loved the amount of tree coverage everywhere. Everything was just perfect.

All#1. One addition needed. Beautiful showers, but in need of soap and shampoo holders.

We appreciate the comments for the soap and shampoo holders. Unfortunately our experience is those items are usually abused and broken repeatedly. I have found a Hanging Cosmetic Organizer with a hook and pockets works great for travel. Sounds like overall you enjoyed our campground.

Clean, comfortable, well-stocked cabin with beautiful views as well as easy access to hiking trails. Enjoyed using the KOA pool and yard games. Great location. Convenient to downtown Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain, Nature Center and other attractions.

We had a great stay. Location was perfect for sightseeing and far enough away for quiet relaxation.

It's a nice campground but we found it a little weaker than other KOA's we've stayed at. We had our grandkids with us and the playground wasn't inspiring. The pool was nice and clean - the kids did like the pool. In other KOA's there were a lot more activities for the kids. On the plus side, we enjoyed the closeness of the drive-in movie theater and the staff were nice.

Of the three designations, we are a Holiday KOA (a base camp for exploring the area). Many children find our hiking trail, outdoor bowling, basket ball, and Ga Ga Ball to be fun activities. We also have very good streaming WiFi for those who(need)to connect to the virtual world. Thanks for visiting

Loved our stay here. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. Pool felt great. Sites are surrounded by mature woods. Feels like a true Forrest. Site #13 was a pull through. Easy in easy out.

A great place to stay. We have stayed here several times over the past 15 years on our way to other places. Great little cabins to stay at. Love this campground.

There for 6 days. Quiet and peaceful. Close to Chattanooga and attractions. Very nice showers and bathrooms. Big pool. Great place.

As always, we had a wonderful long weekend at the KOA. The staff is friendly and helpful, the bathrooms are clean, the campsites are shaded and the new pool is fantastic!

I was disappointed in the state of the pool area. For a pool that size there was very limited seating. There were only 13 working lounge chairs. There were at least 8 lounge chairs frames that didn’t have the rubber straps attached. There use to be round tables and chairs available there as well that are now gone. It made it feel less hospitable than it has been in the past.

We recently refurbished our pool deck and we are still in the process of finishing the straps on the frames you had noted in your comment. The tables and chairs you noted have not existed in 15 years. It is common that we see our guests bring their own chairs and canopies to the pool area.

What a beautiful, well run and maintained, shadedcampground!! Great amenities without the over the top resort feel. During the covid years we stayed at several KOA's out west and swore we'd never do it again. Always located on an expressway, near an airport and train tracks and next to no shade. This was not the KOA's we knew. We will be back!

More beautiful & tucked away than I expected for a KOA! This is a gem and very conveniently close to Lookout Mountain attractions such as Rock City Gardens (highly recommend). The shower house is extremely comfortable and clean. Seems very new! The room I happened to choose had a weird layout with the sink and mirror but after looking into the other empty ones I think it's the only one like that (pictured). Awesome kids play areas (my 5 and 8 year old especially loved the bounce bubble!) and even outdoor bowling! My daughter was thrilled to find a few green anoles among the natural landscape nearby. My only critique is that even though they don't have pre-assigned spots the said they couldn't put us and our friends on adjacent spots… even though no one was on the spot next to us. Haha Small potatoes and still a phenomenal location. We'll be traveling through this area in Jan. and my husband and I agreed we'd go out of our way to stay here again.

This campground is exceptional! You continuously see staff out working around the campground to keep it nice for the visitors. They have a wonderful playground for the kiddos and a very nice canine area for the dogs. You will see a touch of humor when you read the KOA signs and see the little twist of words. The bathrooms are very clean and each has a handicap seat. The showers have a full size locking door. Some rooms have a sink and toilet only, while others have the sink, toilet and shower combo. Quiet and laidback you will thoroughly enjoy your time here. Chattanooga is still close enough for dinner, shopping and sightseeing.

We loved the rustic, semi-private, walled-in sites. Lots of shade and very quiet. The showers could a shelf on the stalls, though. There was no place to rest soap and shampoo. Otherwise, the water was hot, the staff polite, and the amenities super clean.
