We had a lovely visit, the campground is clean, neat, everyone was professional and helpful.

I had a tent site. It felt private, but only because there was only 1 other group in the tent area. Had there been a group next to me, we would have been right on top of each other...a problem I note every time I think about booking KOA. Nearest bathroom to my site was closed during my stay. Really liked the main shower house, but it was far away and a scary to walk by myself in the dark.

Great spot- friendly staff- very clean WIFI is spotty and there was not very many people there. This is concerning if you are working remote or trying to steam TV as they have no cable or channels to view. It is the only reason I deducted a star. If you advertise that you have WIFI- it should be enough bandwidth to support all campers when the park is full.

Really neat setting and friendly staff. They were very kind to the children and welcoming. This is a good place to camp for a weekend trip to Chattanooga.

This was our first time visiting here and it was wonderful. I'm not not sure where to begin. This was my wife's birthday weekend and we wanted to get away but under 200 miles from home. Lookout Mountain KOA was the perfect place after searching. The check in was a breeze and the staff was professional and knowledgeable. The campground was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this KOA.

Diesal gas station off hwy exit for KOA. Hiking trails in campground. Hosts are very active in upkeep. Can use local roads to Chattanooga, instead of hwy. Most are shaded spots.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The sites are nice and the shower house is clean and the shower rooms are spacious.

Really nice level sites. Friendly helpful staff. Everything was well kept. The playground was nice. Super quiet and good location with highway access. Only improvement that I would ask you to look into is that my voltage was only 109 volts. It should be 130 volts. It causes breakers to trip when they normally would not.

Arrived later than expected and only tent camped 1 night but it was a beautiful stay. The hosts were very friendly and the shower facilities top notch. I am planning a trip back there to stay a few days.

Clean, quiet, and friendly. The staff was great. The site we had was excellent with room to spread out, near the camp office and pool. The amenities and activities are top notch, and it was a great getaway for the weekend. We will certainly be back.

Top notch family run facility cut into the Chattanooga area countryside. All KOAs should be measured against this location. Don't let the address fool you. It is a quick drive to Chattanooga and all the area top attractions. Don't miss this place. We'll be back.

Very enjoyable and relaxing time. My stay I found the other campers to be very friendly and outgoing. The restrooms by the tent sites where I was are very clean and well kept. The showers are very clean and modern, all in all a very experience with the campground. I do recommend.

Arrived late w/ 9 people to two wonderful affordable cabins & the nicest private restrooms you'll find anywhere. Communications /logistics with the staff were top shelf. This is a stellar campground !

Friendly and helpful check-in. Lovely campground with mature trees. Restrooms are pristine. A great place to spend a night or longer.

Staff was pretty much invisable other than the person that checked us in. The store was pretty much cleaned out, not even a sticker to purchase. No golf cart escort to our site, which is standard for KOA and our site had a rickety unusable picnic table. The only thing this KOA had to offer us was location.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our staff was not visible to you, they were preparing cabins and sites for other guests. Technically we are at the end of the camping season, store items are fully stocked in Spring. KOA corporate dictates that we offer and escort, we did. Glad you enjoyed our wooded scenic location.

Its a very pleasant place to stay. Fire wood was quite expensive for the amoun received but that was the only negative really.

We enjoyed our stay, it was a slow weekend so it wasn’t crowded. However, I think if it was busy it wouldn’t have been as enjoyable because there’s a ton of sites really close together

Incredibly well layed out, spacious sites!!! Very nice bath house with individual bathrooms. Beautiful clean pool! Really nice laundry room complete with iron and board and even a TV! Spectacular place to stay! We’ve been traveling for last 7+ years and this is by far THE BEST KOA we’ve ever stayed at !!! We’ll be back for sure ! Highly recommended !

Clean and nice area. Staff is great. This is not a campground for motorhomes or 5th wheelers over 36 ft. Very difficult to maneuver.

More beautiful & tucked away than I expected for a KOA! This is a gem and very conveniently close to Lookout Mountain attractions such as Rock City Gardens (highly recommend). The shower house is extremely comfortable and clean. Seems very new! The room I happened to choose had a weird layout with the sink and mirror but after looking into the other empty ones I think it's the only one like that (pictured). Awesome kids play areas (my 5 and 8 year old especially loved the bounce bubble!) and even outdoor bowling! My daughter was thrilled to find a few green anoles among the natural landscape nearby. My only critique is that even though they don't have pre-assigned spots the said they couldn't put us and our friends on adjacent spots… even though no one was on the spot next to us. Haha Small potatoes and still a phenomenal location. We'll be traveling through this area in Jan. and my husband and I agreed we'd go out of our way to stay here again.

This campground is exceptional! You continuously see staff out working around the campground to keep it nice for the visitors. They have a wonderful playground for the kiddos and a very nice canine area for the dogs. You will see a touch of humor when you read the KOA signs and see the little twist of words. The bathrooms are very clean and each has a handicap seat. The showers have a full size locking door. Some rooms have a sink and toilet only, while others have the sink, toilet and shower combo. Quiet and laidback you will thoroughly enjoy your time here. Chattanooga is still close enough for dinner, shopping and sightseeing.

We loved the rustic, semi-private, walled-in sites. Lots of shade and very quiet. The showers could a shelf on the stalls, though. There was no place to rest soap and shampoo. Otherwise, the water was hot, the staff polite, and the amenities super clean.
