Close to 24 and the middle of the smokey mountains this koa is very well run. I always stay there when traveling in my rv from Illinois to Florida. Its about half way too.

What a great great great KOA. Hands down the best KOA facility we have ever been in. We really prefer state and national parks over RV parks, but this KOA had the look and feel of a state park. When our travels bring us back this we you can be sure we will stay here again.

We liked the woody setting away from town but this trip we had our 5 yr granddaughter and it might have been nice to have a swing and slide for her. (She rated it a 3 we gave it a 5)

We only had a single overnight but the location is just beautiful and the staff was super nice. Nice little park that is very homey. A good two week stay to explore would be a great idea.

The campsite was pretty, quiet and well maintained. The bathrooms were modern, beautifully done and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Campground store was nice and well stocked.

We had the best time! The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The sites were private and the dog park ruled. What I really appreciated were the tips they gave when going to see the different attractions! Lookout Mountain was incredible and the views were amazing. I highly recommend this KOA!

We always have a wonderful time at KOA Lookout Mountain. We appreciate the friendly staff, well kept facilities, and beautiful views. Highlights are always the jumping pillow, the hiking trail, and the meadow. We weren’t prepared for the noise from the nearby drive-in as we’ve never stayed while they were open before. Not KOA’s fault but definitely something to be aware of.

We loved our stay at lookout mountain KOA! The bathrooms were well kept, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the activities for the kids were great for our little one! We would definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed my (2) one night stays - coming and going from Greensboro to Houston. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Very clean bathrooms and loved the nature trail.

Love the bamboo, all KOAs are very nice but this one is the best we’ve ever been too. Gorgeous grounds, spotlessly clean. Fully recommend!!

A great place for your base camp while you checkout all that Lookout Mountain has to offer. Like Ruby Falls, Rock City , the Incline Railway and more!

The staff is super friendly and sites are clean. Great place to stay close to Chattanooga but can unwind at the campsite. This was our second stay here as well.

Some sites are better than others depending on your length of stay. There are interesting attractions nearby and there are good amenities here. Best of all, I've never seen campground showers better than here. The staff was very friendly and outstandingly helpful - especially they guys filling my propane tank. I intend to come back again.

Used as a base station for visiting Gatlinburg and other touristy areas. Lots of winding roads and plenty of scenery. Our site was fairly level but narrow, fire pit was uncomfortably close to the camper but didn't need a fire anyway. Nice showers and restrooms.

Nice wide and shady sites. The 2 women in the office were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The laundry room was equipped with 5 washers and dryers and the cleanest I’ve ever seen!!

This KOA Campground is ABOVE the 10 mark in my book..From when you step out of your vehicle the Quaint BEAUTY from outdoors to inside the store, the Greetings from all employees with Smiles, THE MAGNIFICENT Bathrooms, the GROUNDS immaculate, the paths to and around campground are Breathtaking.. I am a KOA employee and SUPER IMPRESSED with this KOA!! THANK YOU and I will be returning!! 4/21 site 36

Honestly, there's nothing better than waking up in the morning to hear the host of birds chirping and such. The place is dead quiet, and while off the beaten path, it's off the beaten path. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The sites are isolated more than usual, which is nice. l don't think I saw another camper during my stay.

Very pleasant campground. 5 nights in small RV. FHU, Back-In, Site 22. Very attentive staff. Everything well kept up. Downside, no tent stakes in RV areas. My awnings require tent stakes, was not able to enjoy much outdoor time. My site had the hookups down a rock wall below my site. It was a bit difficult to navigate getting to the hookups, and emptying tanks.

We have found alternate ways to stabilize your canopy. Jugs filled with sand, or water. In fact we have sand filled weights we loan out to our guests. Please inquire at the office with any issues you may have. Chances are we have seen and resolved an issue before. We appreciate your kind words.

Have stayed here twice just for an overnight. Clean and quiet. Staff friendley and helpful. Our to go place when heading to Talladega Speedway.

Beautiful wooded campground with a nature trail. They have the most awesome dog playground. Everyone there is very friendly. Bathhouse has private full baths!

More beautiful & tucked away than I expected for a KOA! This is a gem and very conveniently close to Lookout Mountain attractions such as Rock City Gardens (highly recommend). The shower house is extremely comfortable and clean. Seems very new! The room I happened to choose had a weird layout with the sink and mirror but after looking into the other empty ones I think it's the only one like that (pictured). Awesome kids play areas (my 5 and 8 year old especially loved the bounce bubble!) and even outdoor bowling! My daughter was thrilled to find a few green anoles among the natural landscape nearby. My only critique is that even though they don't have pre-assigned spots the said they couldn't put us and our friends on adjacent spots… even though no one was on the spot next to us. Haha Small potatoes and still a phenomenal location. We'll be traveling through this area in Jan. and my husband and I agreed we'd go out of our way to stay here again.

This campground is exceptional! You continuously see staff out working around the campground to keep it nice for the visitors. They have a wonderful playground for the kiddos and a very nice canine area for the dogs. You will see a touch of humor when you read the KOA signs and see the little twist of words. The bathrooms are very clean and each has a handicap seat. The showers have a full size locking door. Some rooms have a sink and toilet only, while others have the sink, toilet and shower combo. Quiet and laidback you will thoroughly enjoy your time here. Chattanooga is still close enough for dinner, shopping and sightseeing.

We loved the rustic, semi-private, walled-in sites. Lots of shade and very quiet. The showers could a shelf on the stalls, though. There was no place to rest soap and shampoo. Otherwise, the water was hot, the staff polite, and the amenities super clean.
