It is a beautiful setting. Big sites, lots of trees, right on the Yellowstone River and clean. We impressed by how hard the hosts work to keep the campground clean and help guests.

Reason for KOA over public campground is bathroom facility. Bathrooms detract from otherwise great facility. Fix showers so they work. Place multiple hooks to hang clothing and towels in showers. Fix very loose floor bolts on toilets. Won’t return unless I know bathrooms are fixed. Little expense of retired.

The staff is great , helpful , courteous, friendly. However , the sites are too close to adjoining sites and some need improvement. The bathrooms while functional are old and need updating. Lastly , $81 + per night is high considering the issues I listed above.

Great night, cabin is in dire need of hooks to hang clothing. Also gap under door allowed mice to enter cabin 00.

One of the best! We have stayed there (in a tent or cabin site) more than 6 times in the last year and it is awesome each time. Nice staff. Store open late. Good communication. Beautiful area.

The pool was not working, but these things happen. Our site was nice that it had quite a bit of privacy around the campfire area.

We stayed 6 nights in a 30 ft class C. This is a Holiday rated park. The swimming pool wasn't operating. When we arrived only one washing machine was functioning. The urinal in the men's BR wasn't working. The remote bathroom and showers were dirty most of the time and we're in a state of disrepair. The entry road is dirt and extremely rough and needs grading badly. We don't recommend.

Tent site was nice but worn with trailers using it. Weeds and garbage in the trees. Washrooms were not clean and usually full of bugs. Almost everything was in a state of disrepair including the pool which was closed for the season even though they promised it might be open in a day or two. No discounts offered for lack of amenities. Tenting area was noisy because it was right next to the road.

We were not told until arrival that we could not put a tent on our rv site so our kids had to move their tent across the grounds. Terrible family experience! We have stayed at many KOAs and have never been told that. Also the pool that was advertised was not working. The roads are so full of potholes in and around this campground it’s terrible on the vehicle and trailer! We were NOT impresse

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this KOA. We were disappointed in The pool being closed as this was one of the reasons we booked this location. The playground was nice. We had two rv sites and a cabin booked in our party. Sites were good and decently level. The river front cabin was very nice and clean.

Everything was perfect except….. The road from the highway to the campground concerto use a little work grading I was on a motorbike and it’s not something I’d want to do again.

Nestled between mountains and the Yellowstone mountains the views are incredible. We stayed in the campsites in front of the main building those sites are packed in tight. The best 3 sites are back by the river but hard to get. Many of the fire pits are also quite small. The roads getting in and out of the site are also gravel not ideal for motorcycles.

Beautiful area. A bit crowded at times, but very quiet, peaceful place. We have to commend the staff too as we had to cut our stay short by one day unexpectedly. The staff refunded payment for that day due to our emergency exit. Can’t thank them enough.

The campground is very nice with shaded lots. Bathrooms were private and clean. On the other hand the road that leads to the place is really dusty and other drivers with little respect. They should treat the road with the same chemical treatment they treat the road with beyond the campground.

It was really hot and the pool was closed for repairs. The children did have fun at the splash pad. They did give me a discount which we used to swim at White Sulpher Springs. A small air conditioner in the unit or a fan that could be placed in the window (there is no outlet handy) would be really nice. Staff was very nice. We enjoyed riding banana bikes, the fire pit, and nice picnic table.

Gabe and Allison were 10 Stars,helpful and hard working. Property is no star, seams not invested in for 20 years, things non-functional: water taps broken, shower heads broken, shower area rusted,hardware handles missing,handicap shower light broken.Been said nobody would work for past owner?explains same trash in bathroom shower for 2 days. camp site faces dump area, feels like camping in trash

The location in front of the office is way too crowded and very uneven. We ended up only staying 1 of the 2 days are were extremely disappointed. The staff was excellent, and there were nice spots, but we just did not have one of them. I would suggest revamping that area so that there is some space between RV's. The location next to the Yellowstone is nice. Ratings are based on our space. MGC

Nice level spot with amazing views. Loved that it was right on the river! Clean and well maintained. Extremely nice and helpful staff. Can’t wait to stay there again.

Always a nice experience. Have stayed here 4 times in the last couple of years and definitely plan to stay again. Tent sites 3 times. A cabin one time. Very nice place. Very nice place for dogs in their dog park. Lots of shade. Away from town but close enough for needed runs. Friendly. Clean. Plenty of bathrooms.

We liked the location of our cabin on the river. But we were disappointed that the pool was not open. And we were also really unhappy with the bathrooms. They all smelled horrible and didn't look like they'd been cleaned in awhile.

Campground was fine however the cabin we had did not have air conditioning which the website, in the paragraph explaining the cabin, said it would. Mentioned the false advertisement to the staff and they simply told us they don't have any control over the website

Pool should get repaired. Expensive KOA for few amenities. Still we love the area so we will be back.

Showers were not as clean as in the past stays. Enjoyed when they would have as ice cream nite but there was none at this stay. Way two many dogs for us.

Perfect cabin for a show at Pine Creek. Waterfront, dog friendly and a cute getaway. Next time we will do two nights and do a Yellowstone float right from camp!

Great campground. Follow staff directions to the park don't follow the maps they send you down a rough road that'll shake everything loose, including your fillings... Excellent friendly staff, good well stocked camp store.

Over all positive experience. With that in mind we would stay here again. Pros and cons list below. We stayed in an rv backed up to the yellowstone river. PROS Views and location are INCREDIBLE. This immerses you into the Montana country side with stunning back drops of majestic mountain ranges to the east with snow capped tops. Grounds are well maintained but natural looking. Everything for rv hook up was easy and functional. The service was excellent, everyone was always asking if we needed anything or if they could be of service in anyway. Very friendly staff. Variety of sites with varying cost and ease of access. Amenities are very nice with almost every site having seating with a table and fire pit. Cons Showers/bathroom is a bit outdated but not run down. But even more so inconvenient is if any one turns on the hot water at the sink in the ladies room some of the showers get instantly icey cold. Other than those 2 small grievances, we 100% would return again and do reccomend this camp ground!
