What a gem! I can't believe we haven't stayed here before. This was such a great family friendly place to stay. We will definitely be staying again. I can't wait to book for next season. Our favorites were the mining for gems, cider and cocoa at the group campfire, and the terrainable rides.

I only stayed one night, but thought it was a nice campground. The one negative I found was it was dark from our site to the bathrooms/showers. Perhaps some solar pathway lights could be placed along the way.

We enjoyed the patio/fire pit area for cooking and games. We also went for several walks around the campground and shopped in the general store. All around a wonderful stay!

Gave it a 5 rating because I've stayed here before. But I have two requests: put better instructions up for the stove tops and clean the coffee makers. Vinegar run through it works really well.

We spent 2 nights at the campground in mid October. Everything is well maintained. The office is very friendly and helpful. Looks like it would be a great place for kids. A few parks nearby to visit. The only criticism would be the road noise from route 20. Overall a great place and definitely worth stopping.

Cabins were clean, staff was friendly, and the campsite had great accommodations. We enjoyed our stay!

We stay at the KOA a lot!! This stay was in a cabin, due to we already winterized our camper. It was a Halloween weekend. The weather wasn’t the best, but the company & activities were!! Thank you to the Long family & staff!! The Bennett’s

Best campground we have ever stayed at, very clean. The staff are very helpful and professional. Joe and Dianne the owners have built a great team. I would recommend Lena campground to anyone looking for the best.

Campground is very clean and accommodating. Pricing on cabins and campsites are very reasonable, it is why we return every year in October to help celebrate Halloween. Campground workers, esp the younger staff are very sweet and helpful.

Even tho we had plenty of rain and cold weather, everyone had a great time! The Lena KOA has a very pleasant staff that does all they can to please the guests! Thank you to all, see you next year!

There are tons of activities for kids & families. There are text updates throughout the day reminding you of each activity which was very helpful, with some costing a small & some were free. I would highly recommend the trick or treat weekends too. Lots of fun without a ton of walking with small children. Only thing I didn't care for was the additional nightly charge for kids over 5 yrs old.

Absolutely my favorite KOA Team EVER! The facility was well kept, plenty of room at the site. Kinda tight navigating out but all in all, one of our favorites!

Unfortunately, the rainstorm chased us away. Also, as senior citizens, we found the futon and mattress very uncomfortable. Guess our backs aren’t what they used to be! Loved the beautiful grounds, friendly staff, clean cottage! Owner, Joe, and staff very accommodating!

Owners r incredibly friendly n r there for u, the camper. Pretty grounds w flowers n the grass is always cut short. Roads r marked easy to find. Great camp store w RV/trailer items, novelty items n ice cream pints yum!

This place is awesome! Lots of planned, kid friendly activities. Even though it’s full every time we go you are able to relax in a quiet atmosphere. We love it and I recommend to anyone I know with a camper or tent!

We usually stay here once or twice every year. It is one of the best, well kept KOAs that we have visited around the country. It is obvious that the hosts take pride in their campground. We also love the quiet, country setting.

We stayed at Lena koa as a base camp to visit Galena, we were very pleased with the campgrounds. Everything was mowed and trimmed nicely, fall flowers were at every camp site, clean restrooms, this is probably one of the nicest KOA's we have stayed at. Our site was a pull-through and had plenty of room for our motorhome and truck.We will put this KOA on our return to list.

Arrived much later than intended but found the campground map to be very good (although "street names" were hard to distinguish). Checked in at the office the following morning with the very pleasant and attentive staff. Love being out in the countryside in a clean and well maintained campground. Would highly recommend!

They made it very easy to book a weekend trip. They make sure you are well aware of all the awesome activities with texts throughout the day. Unfortunately, we did forget a bike helmet at the campground and it was difficult to coordinate with them to ship it to me, however, they were kind enough to hold on to it for at least a week until I could drive out there and pick it up. On a side note, they have an amazing selection of beverages from the local establishment that will certainly leave you wanting more.
