This is our second time staying in the loft cabin we love staying at the East KOA. The staff is always friendly and so helpful. The view of the river is so pretty and the sound peaceful and relaxing. It is close enough to walk to all the attractions. We will be back.

The loft was clean and spacious. Enjoyed the fire experience and patio with view to river. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

The only negative part was that cabin main heater didn't work. However the one in the small room did work. Overall we enjoyed the stay at the cabin.

All good! However, Worrying about plans to black top entire area possibly next year. It will be so hot and unyielding. We don’t mind the dust. After all it’s camping!!

The stay was fine. The WiFi was bad. So bad that we couldn't even sign up for the "premium" version. And that's in the nice deluxe cabins. It really should be looked into. Everyone uses WiFi these days.

The koa was good.. the city is TERRIBLE about REST ROOMS> The porta potties had no toilet paper and were FULL. we and our friends had to to back tot he koa to use the bathroom

Way overpriced. You need to send a packing list so we can have soap in the shower and every other detail that you don't provide. Basically glamping, not "cabins" but it's confusing since there are so many options. It really didn't sleep six when our adults are large. You could specify 2 large adults in queen bed and 3-4 children or small adults in mini-twin bunkbeds and full size futon. More info!

Fun location and nice cabin. Disappointed that we were told and had on our reservation that we had a cabin with two queen beds but ended up with 1 queen and 1 full so my husband had to sleep in our car. For the cost we expected to have space for our whole family or we wouldn't have booked this cabin.

The KOA staff is so friendly! We stayed in a cabin and it was clean and very comfortable for our family of four. We can’t wait to stay here again!

We stayed in a deluxe cabin and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was comfortable and clean and having a gas grill and firepit made the week pleasant. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Great lodge cabin! Loved the fire pit, patio and chairs. Was perfect looking at the waterfall and river. The cabin was perfect and loved it.

We stayed in the Deluxe Cabins and it was amazing! We spent most of the time on the back porch, listening to the river rush by. The cabins are within close walking distance to downtown, a great location! We thought about cooking/ BBQing but ran out of time. Cabin was nicely stocked and the bed was comfortable.Even though other cabins are close, they still seem pretty private.

Camping cabin was spacious. I called prior to arriving asking if there was a microwave in my cabin and was told no, but there was one. Door squeaked very loud and woke up everyone in the cabin at night. Wished there were hooks in the cabin for towels. All the shelves in the door of the mini fridge were broken and useless. Staff were friendly. Kid crafts were a hit. Campground was clean.

Very expensive for a cabin but my cabin was clean and beautiful inside. My bed was soft but very comfortable. Having my own bathroom was worth the extra money. I was in cabin 46 and loved having a gushing water fall in the backyard. Beautiful views and loved everything about it!

Unfortunately not a pleasant experience! We arrived there on Friday and next morning on Saturday my wife noticed some skin rashes but we thought they may be mosquitoes bite. Sunday morning she had a lot more all over her body. Back, arms and legs even some on her face! We think they were Bed Bugs bites, most of them were over her left side. She was sleeping on the side to the wall. Not good!! �

My husband and I own a construction Co. It gets very stressfull this little cabin on the river was exactly what we needed we spent most of the time we were their just sitting on the patio listening to the river and relaxing. I give this place a 10 out of 10. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, and overall just a cute cozy place to getaway and relax!

Great cabins, love the back decks overlooking the creek. Nice and clean; perfect location. Staff at the office to check us in and out were wonderful - very nice and helpful as this was our first time at Lava Hot Springs area.

We were sorry so many things in town were closed because it was early in the season. Our cabin didn’t have a chair or anything to sit on besides the bed. Initially the person at the desk forgot to give us our key and the codes for the bathroom and the wi-Fi.

we were traveling through on our way to Moab Utah, and love to stay at the cabins at the KOA<they are clean, and have full baths, and just walk down the street to go in the hot springs is amazing! thanks Wendy

We stayed two nights in L47 campers cabin. It was clean, very spacious and well laid out, and very comfortable. There was a nic view of the the Portneuf river and some watefalls, and a deck with a gas grill, a fire pit, and patio table and chairs. I highly recommend this KOA.

We stayed in L46 and patio is facing the river. Very nice night bbq and fire pit experience. Close by train tracks and freeway is the downside though. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Kids loved the bunk beds.

The cabins are very cozy, close to the Portneuf river across from the cabins. It runs by some great RV parking spots looking at that river. I gave them 2 stars for service because no one is around Monday to Thursday, along with limited working hours Friday- Sunday. If you want something, you have to get in your vehicle and drive about a mile away to their other office in a different area of town. I find that ridiculous or even worse, asinine, not sure what the owner was thinking of that concept. Everything else was great. Some people might have other opinions about driving away to check out, they should have a drop box located around the office area to drop off the keys where we were staying at, instead of us driving to the other location drop it off, I found that to be very inconvenience for us.
