Everyone was very nice and helpful and the grounds were immaculate and the grounds personnel are always working so hard! The scenery and the local town was so quaint and the Lava Hot Springs are a must, you owe it to yourself! Unfortunately we only stayed 2 nights, I will be back for more!!! I have been on the road for a few months now and stayed at 12 different RV parks and this is the best.

Your KOA is one of the nicest that we have ever been to and we have been to several around the United States. We will be back at some point in the future.

Too many loose dogs, called office to find out why. They pretty much said there wasn’t anything they could do. Then why have a policy for dogs must be in leash???

Very clean and nice. The staff was helpful and our stay was excellent. The camp is in walking distance of town and the hot springs. We where able to set up camp and walk to everything else.

This wasn't my favorite spot — it's very crowded and a little louder than other spots we have stay out with the train tracks and highway right there. It is really close to main street in Lava which was really nice. The hosts were SUPER nice.

The setting is beautiful right on the river. Camp was clean. The trains woke us up several times in the night. The site next to us had probably 20 people crammed into it and they were very loud and drunk until around 11.

It was after a holiday, so the campground was less than half full and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The town in small but there are things to see, do and explore.

Nice campground with friendly staff and gorgeous scenery. The patio sites are very nice but also very tight to get in and out of. Overall a good place to stay.

trouble with the electric on the site. asked attendant for help after several attempts including a Generator so knew it was the box. Attendant was not helpful at all... But eventually said no one was at the site next to us. We stretched cords, to that site. After a long drive it was stressful to say the least!

It is a very nice campground and they've made lots of improvements. My only complaint is they charge you for absolutely everything! It became so expensive we should have stayed in a hotel. We were charged for a tent on our spot, extra people, our dog, etc... Just way too expensive!

Very clean and well maintained. Maintenance crew did a great job. I've never seen RV park with such a clean bathroom, and park well maintained. Office staff are friendly.

We really liked this place. It had that woodsy feel with a creek that flows through the park. This campground was peaceful and calm. There is a highway and railroad adjacent the the campgrounds. We didn’t mind it. Walking distance to the hot springs and downtown. We went to the hot springs. Nice and relaxing. We only stayed one night on our way to Yellowstone. Wished we stayed longer.

This was our 2nd visit and we're already planning our 3rd. The bathroom and laundry facilities are second to none. I've ready complaints about the traffic/train noise but after a day at the hot springs I slept like a baby.

NICE CAMPSITE, FACILITIES, AND STAFF. THE DOWNSIDE IS THE TRAFFIC NOISE FROM HIGHWAY 30, AND THE BUSY TRAIN TRACKS THAT PARALLEL THE HIGHWAY. VERY NOISY AND OVERPRICED.

All was excellent and wonderful. Very clean, well maintained. Only one minor glitch. We reserved 6 spots in a row well ahead of time and when we got there we did indeed have 6 spots but there was one person right in the middle that was not in our party. It was not a problem just wondered why we did not have all 6 in a row. But we already made reservations for 2023 so we are coming back! Thank you!

I enjoyed the way it was layer out. The extra room for our pulling unit was really nice. Lots of grass for our 4 legged family.

What a great park. Has a walking trail that leads directly into town and the Lava Hot Springs. The park is along a river with multiple sites that have direct access to the river. We actually saw beaver swimming in the river. The sites are spacious and well kept. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had to extend our stay due to illness and the staff went out of their way to help us

Pretty good campground. The guy checking us in overcharged me. He didn't give us the special rate and charged 2 nights for a child that wasn't there. Thank you lady who fixed it the next morning. Not all soap dispensers in bathrooms worked. Seemed very clean tho. The highway and train were surprisingly not bothersome to us.

We stayed in L46 and patio is facing the river. Very nice night bbq and fire pit experience. Close by train tracks and freeway is the downside though. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Kids loved the bunk beds.

The cabins are very cozy, close to the Portneuf river across from the cabins. It runs by some great RV parking spots looking at that river. I gave them 2 stars for service because no one is around Monday to Thursday, along with limited working hours Friday- Sunday. If you want something, you have to get in your vehicle and drive about a mile away to their other office in a different area of town. I find that ridiculous or even worse, asinine, not sure what the owner was thinking of that concept. Everything else was great. Some people might have other opinions about driving away to check out, they should have a drop box located around the office area to drop off the keys where we were staying at, instead of us driving to the other location drop it off, I found that to be very inconvenience for us.
