Riverside and Motel check in is just 0.2 miles northeast on NY-86 across from the A&W Family Restaurant.
Just 5 minutes away (2 miles), Whiteface Mountain usually fires up its lifts around Thanksgiving weekend, opening the season with the highest vertical drop in the East. Circle December 15, 2026, for Santa Day, when skiers and riders are invited to hit the slopes in full Santa suits. Ski or not, it's a genuinely fun scene to catch from the base lodge with a hot chocolate in hand.
