Everyone was very helpful if you had any questions and accommodating when we had a situation with our cabin. The campground is beautiful. My grandkids had a blast and we will definitely go back.

We had a large group. We rented a camp site, a train cart and a cabin. The cabin’s air conditioner stoped working the day we got there so that was miserable for them. The train cart had no parking, it also had no oven and a shower that was too small for my husband to use. Overall had a good time. We come to the KOA often and love that the camp sites are ON the lake. The left dock needs work also

The AC in our cabin did not work 90% of the time, which was the main reason I chose a cabin, we could have tent camped for half the price. Also, the attitude I received every time I called about it not working is the reason we will never return.

I paid in advance and when I got there, you cannot rent golf carts any longer. No hammocks. And 3 years we have been coming and never had one bite from a fish. Only 1 pool open. No. I left after 1 night and never thought about refunding any of our money.

Very friendly and they go the extra mile to make sure your stay is great. I stayed in the caboose and it was very unique. Could have more outlets to plug into. I had my dog and she could go swimming too!

The area is very nice and enjoyed the nearby town and the outside crew keep the campground very nicely kept. The lodging we had really needed attention, dusty and broken mini blinds, floor was so very dirty ! Grill was dirty and unusable! Management obviously is not following behind the 'cleaning' person. At $153.00 a night one expects cleanliness at the very least !

We stayed in one of the train cars - they were awesome and clean. The patio chairs could use replacement; as I was a bit worried they were going to rip while sitting in them. :)

nice accommodation but water heater quit working Sat morning. The staff could not repair it so we used the showers at the rec center 100 yrds away. woke up Sunday morning to no water at all in the lower half of the park. Broken pipe I think. They refunded one nights stay and I was happy with that. Very apologetic. I would stay there again despite the problems.

It is a beautiful location! Although rainy one day, the weather was cool and pleasant, which added to our enjoyment. The Wifi was poor in the outdoors, and non-existent inside. The caboose interior was nice, but needs some updating. I'd recommend it!

My stay wasn’t longgggggg enough! I could truly get used to the area. EVERYTHING was amazing! The staff was very helpful & professional. The evening check in employee was very busy, but handled us all in an excellent manner! This is my new relaxing get-a-way spot

The staff went way out of there way to assist us when our truck had a breakdown and ended up in a shop for repairs.

Campground isn't taken care of The lady we always talked to at the front desk was always rude And she let us know about the extra $20 a night pet charge after we were already there so we were charged an extra $60 for three nights she was rude and told us that we had to pay it No where in and paperwork or material they have does it mention this charge So beware of this extra charge will not be back

We loved it! Guest and staff very friendly. Our air condition broke and they had it fixed in less than 10 minutes! We will be back!

Estuvo muy bien, lo único que el k9 era solo uno y muy pequeño para tan grande parque. Algunos de los RV parking no estaban nivelados y la tienda muy pequeña. Pero fue muy agradable estar allí.

The Caboose car was the reason we stayed and it was average. The novelty was great; view was great. Clean. Kitchen could be upgraded. My issue was with the park in general. Very run down and unappealing. Sports courts were sad; playgrounds okay although one near sports court is sad. Retaining walls around park falling apart; stairs missing. Beach needs sand. Permanent residents need to CLEAN UP!

We were really pleased with the view from our caboose. The sunsets were amazing and with the beach & docks you had access to the lake. Would stay here again. One recommendation would be to put some wall hooks in bath & bedroom to hang clothes or towels.

The office staff was very accommodating during our stay. We had three different families involved in our stay. The staff was very understanding and helpful making changes to our campsites and and cabin stays when we requested. This helped to make the stay even more enjoyable.

Everything was very clean. We brought coffee filters, but I feel a few should be provided. I would also like a small bar of soap in the shower. The last time we stayed, we froze, so this time we brought an extra blanket and sleeping bag. Please put a blanket on the bed along with the sheet and thin quilt in the winter. All in all this is a quiet, friendly, and safe place to stay. We'll be back.

This campground was easy to find and very quiet. The employees were very friendly and helpful. We were surprised though to find how different it was from the other KOAs we have stayed in - many permanent residents (with many things around their RVs), a lack of things to do, and really general disarray. The campground desperately needs some repairs, updates, and attention to safety issues soon.

The lake was beautiful and fun time fishing. Our first cabin had an issue and they quickly resolved it. Some of the amenities are aging but overall good quiet stay.

Lovely campground, staff was great, friendly campers, nice to bring your pet. My only suggestion would be to give units a little more thorough cleaning occasionally.

Great campground, friendly and helpful staff, but their cabins are not in great shape. The one we reserved (lake view) had a water break, the one we got was not clean, needed repairs and not hot water. Definitely recommend the campground hust not their cabins

We liked the caboose except for the following. The caboose was filled with lady bugs. They were everywhere. Please spray for insects. Nor enough lighting at c7. No outside light on the steps. The steps at night were dangerous.

Grounds were very well kept and you could obviously tell they were doing lots of repairs to railings and deck boards. The young men on carts were ALWAYs driving around making sure everyone had what they needed. Very attentive and friendly. They were out as soon as a camper left cleaning and blowing off camp site. The caboose was a little disappointing. The furniture was cheap futon and extra arm chair. Kitchen chairs were broken, toaster was broken and the curtains fell off the wall. The shower was a joke on getting water adjusted to hot/cold. The whole place needed a huge makeover. The park was ok. We rode our bicycles fished and walked. The putt was pitted out-there was none.

We enjoyed the stay, mainly because it gave us the opportunity to visit with family members who were staying at the Lake Oconee/Greensboro KOA. We were also very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Other than that, we can't find much else to praise. Our cabin was infested with cockroaches, the plumbing hardware needed a lot of work, and there were other problems.

The lady at the office was very unfriendly. The cabin listed as sleeping 6 only provided 2 bath towels and no extra toilet paper for a several day stay so we had to walk to the office for more. The futon was so uncomfortable to sit on and the staff didn’t have the pool Open during the listed pool hours. We’ve stayed at much nicer KOA’s and won’t be returning to this place.

The caboose we stayed in was not clean. Had trash in the garbage can, used soap in the shower, and a cigarette under the fold-out sofa to name a few. It is a beautiful campground though!

Our stay and the KOA in Oconee was great!The staff is wonderful from booking to cabin to checking out.We bought wood and as they was lrading us to our cabin they brought the wood as well and put it in the fire pit.They were doing tours and spoke to us ever time the Road by.the pool was very clean and the bathroom at the pool.We use to visit the KOA in Forsyth but when we gound Oconee.

We had a fabulous weekend at Lake Oconee KOA . First checking-in was easy and smooth even arriving after hours. The cottage was extremely clean and very well appointed and maintained. The managers Mike and Virginie were incredibly friendly, welcoming and approachable. We loved the fact that the campground organizes activities and had so much fun at Karaoke night! A lot to do and to keep us busy. The view on the lake is stunning especially if you're an early riser to see the sunrise. The 2 pools are very convenient . We will come back. Thank you Mike and Virginie for making us feel at home!

Such a great camp site resort which is very clean! Friendly staff, fun activities and quiet. Very beautiful hiking trails and great views. Love the little beach!

My last stay was for 10 days. Originally booked for 2 days. I called and Gerry added 6 more days on. When I showed up, I had decided to stay 2 more days, Danielle was happy to add those days on for me. One of the gentleman, who's name i don't know, drove my come down on his golf cart. That was a great help for me, as it's a big cooler. A storm Saturday flooded my tent so i couldn't make it to karaoke, which is my favorite! Ki sent me a message to remind me of karaoke. I told her what had happened. And she had sympathy for my situation. Thursday and Friday we had late afternoon storms. Friday, by far being the worst. Having to hold the side of my tent and my daughter holding the front, so it didn't fall in. Ki called me to make sure we were ok and if we needed help. That was so kind of her to look out for us during the storm. When Sunday came and it was time to pack up. I called the front office for help, I couldn't get a tent stake out, stuck in a tree root. Gerry once again helped me out. Sending down Samuel. Not only did he get it out, but he carried our cooler up the hill to our trailer. I love camping here. Everyone is so kind and helpful! My daughter always has a great time doing the kids activists and swimming in the pool. I always look forward to my stays here, it's always a great time. Thank you to all the staff!!!
