Staff is friendly, our site was good, but the area needs updated. Sites are too close together. Long term guest properties look dated and in disrepair. Erosion is a problem. The cost is high to have no cable tv and no reliable WiFi. We will not go back.

We are glad to hear you liked your site and our staff but sorry to hear you do not wish to return. Some updates: All wifi is back/upgraded, we are building new sites that will be very spacious, and we will be working on our erosion issues in 2022. We would love for you to give our park another try!

Disappointed that grilles are not provided at campsites

We are so sorry to hear you did not have a grill at your site. We do not have grills at every site but we do have grills in the back for those that request one. Next time you are out this way be sure to ask for a grill and we will get you one!

Employees very helpful, site was upgraded deck had broken boards with a dip you could trip. 50 amp electric plug loose in power box hard to plug in to.

Arrived before the office closed for the day and was directed to what I thought was a cabin. It was a caboose with NO air conditioning. It was now after 5pm and the office was closed for the day. I called the night manager and a recording told me the Mail Box for this number was not set up and i could not leave a message. Problem never resolved. Owner never contacted me. Stay Away!

We are sorry to hear you had an unpleasant stay. We unfortunately do not have any cabins, instead we have train cars, cabooses, and park models. All of our units have AC and we apologize if yours was not working properly. Management will reach out to discuss your stay further. Feedback appreciated

no wifi no trash pick up ,grass area was not cut , picnic table old and splintery , deck had uplifted wood it just wasnt what we expected

I am happy to inform you the wifi has been upgraded and is better than ever, we are swapping picnic tables that are getting too old with brand new ones, and our decks are being redone. We appreciate the feedback and will be putting trash pick up into consideration. We hope you come retry our park!

We were put in the permanent resident area, not in the camping area. The Lake was pretty, but our view was of permanent campers & all the crap in their sites. Roads were very bad & in need of major replaving.

We arrived late with no reservation as we thought. Reserved at the wrong Greensboro �����‍����Ϧ. John the night attendant was fantastic and found us a sight and helped us set up. What great service, thank you!

The campground is beautiful, but the loud music at night is real bad. The house behind me played real loud music till about 2 in the morning.

Had a slight problem with water outage that just wasn't communicated to camper when it started or was fixed about 5 hours later. Internet on premium site was down due to parts on order from resent storm.

Was a bit off the beaten path. I was just looking for one night close to the interstate and continue on my way. Nice Lake. Sights were a bit tight and muddy and unlevel.

We had a pull thru. If someone had been next to us there would be no where to park. The picnic table was rotted out. We were returning on our way home and asked for a different site but we're told they had none. The park is half empty. I called for 3 days before our return trip and left a message regarding using KOA points. No one ever answer and I got no call back. Manager is not friendly.

Staff was extremely kind, helpful and ready, willing to assist with our needs. Camp ground was well maintained. Beautiful area. Suggestion: need to upgrade the power to both 30 and 50 hook up. We loved staying on the water site but with our new camper that will not be possible because you only have 30 hook up on water sites.

Campground was big and the amenities were great. However our weekend was not enjoyable due to there being a water leak so we were without water. This would have been okay if we had planned for that, however, we were not prepared. I understand these things happened, but we were not offered any compensation and basically there was no point in renting a cabin since we couldn’t really use it.

The lake & pool were definitely gems here. We ended up having no water in our cabin starting the morning after check in, which wasn’t their fault, but also, we wouldn’t have known about it if we hadn’t asked. There was no water to purchase & none was offered, which was disappointing. The only bathroom that worked was the clubhouse, which had activities we would have to interrupt. Otherwise,

A campground with character! This mature setting offers hills, trees, lake views and a retro vibe with it's vintage train car theme. As with most KOAs, the amazing staff here and the jobs they all do made our stay quite comfortable. I have learned during our RV life this last year that if you want something (like best wifi signal or lake view or level site) just ASK and they will do their best!

Beautiful Campground right on the water. Staff was friendly and their was lots of fun for the kids and adults. Unfortunately Wifi was down during our stay but we still had a blast. Cable TV was also not offered.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff is awesome. They take you to ur campsite and get you backed in. I enjoyed the large pool and clubhouse. The bathrooms were modern and clean.

The cabin was disgraceful, we actually left a day early because the ants where horrible you couldn't get anyone to help or answer the phone . For $220 a night it was just completely unacceptable there wasn't even adequate utensils to cook out the chairs are broken , one broke with me and I hurt hip. Absolutely beautiful setting in the trees by the lake, very nice pavilion, swimming pool and beach. The only negatives are bathroom/showers were very few and the dumpster is near the entrance (you are required to take your trash)

Only stayed one evening, so to get a feel of the place would be difficult to assess properly. But, given first impressions, the closer you stayed to the water, the nicer area it was...seasonal or long tremors property boardered on trashy appearance. As a one night stay, ok. Week long stay...no.

We stayed in site #5. It was level enough to level out our class C rv, although when it rained, mud flowed thru our site. it was under a tree which was nice for shade, but a lot of ants invaded our rv within a couple of days. We were told that that was the last site available for those dates, but we saw a few open sites during our stay. The pool is very nice, clean and large enough to swim .

Site 21 is a terrible site. You cannot open your awning. It should not be used for paying guests. There were multiple other open sites for the entire time, but we were not offered a better site.

We enjoyed site 7, on the water, except for the ants that got into our brand new camper. We could not get rid of them, even though we sprayed the underneath outside. Unfortunately for our friends who stayed in 21, has to be the worst campsite ever. No view, table falling apart. They spent most of their time at our site.

The campground seemed a little run down. The sites were difficult to get in and out of. It rained and stormed quite a bit while we were there and looking around there were sites that were just mud pits. I know the campers directly behind us we're very unhappy. We only stayed one night. We requested assistance with tearing up our camper tires and were assured they would help and no follow-through

We booked 5 cabins for a family reunion, our families traveled from 5 different states to be together. Unfortunately, upon arrival our handicap cabin WAS NOT handicap accessible, nor were any picnic areas or the pool. My sister’s family had to stay in a hotel and travel back and forth daily which was a hardship on them and definitely not the intent of our trip. There are ADA COMPLIANCE STANDARDS

Not for long rv's. Very steep hills. The guide leading me to my site took a wrong turn and nearly got me stuck in the hills. Many sites were open yet they gave me one on a huge slope and I had trouble leveling my rig. Very pretty campground but not worth dealing with the hills.

Pulled a travel trailer and had a late check-in. There was a worker waiting for me and took me to my site and helped me direct my trailer in the dark and rain. Great service.
