Great place to stay. Only issues we had was dealing with all the dirt and mosquitoes. More grass around our camp setup would be better. I will go back.

We enjoyed our stayed in a cabin with air conditioning. Also fire pit for warm in the campsite and s’mores that evening. In the morning I have an asked about the giant sequoia trees, Johnson Bridge, and the famous McNally‘s hamburgers.

The trash can were overflowing, so there was trash blowing in the wind. There were no poop bags is the Kamp K9, and the old bag full of dog poop was still sitting next to the trash can. Multiple washers and dryers were out of order in the laundry room. The staff was super friendly and nice, but overall the park felt “dirty.”

Nice campground, but the quiet time rule is not enforced like they say it is!!! I checked out a day early because there is too much noise at night and we couldn't sleep!!!

Pros: The employees are AMAZING ,go beyond, incredibly helpful & kind, Ice cream social every Friday night & pancake breakfast on Sunday’s, close to Lake Isabella. Cons: pool isn’t heated, cockroaches come out at night, wind really picks up in the afternoon, spiderwebs end up all over your things outside.

We had stayed here about 13 years ago and it was a wonderful family park. It’s very run down, water play area for kids doesn’t work, over 1/2 the washers/dryers are not working. Not clean and a disappointment.

Disappointed with the amenities for the kids. Everything is dirt; playground is awful. Just not like any other KOA I’ve stayed at. Bathrooms need code; location in a wind tunnel. Restaurant closes early. Did appreciate the ice cream social and pancake breakfast.

Staff was lovely and very helpful. The bathroom/showers are in need of a major upgrade. Wet floors due to poor drainage in changing area for the shower, not enough hooks and nothing to sit on. Dog play area not kept up.

Love staying here, love love love. This visit we did have two cabins, #55 did have tons of spider webs the kind that were thick n probably been there for a long time. Did try n clean the ones I could reach. Under the little desk/table type things attached to wall

Camp was nice, clean, very friendly. There was a mixup about a camper we were planning on meeting up with, but it was immediately resolved. Isabella is just an ugly lake, and the campground is too far from anything near the water. Kern river is 30 minutes away as well, so, to do anything, you have to travel.

Arriving late in the evening, it was good to see bed in the cabin set up along with towels. Could have used and extra blanket as the heater didn't stay on Staff very friendly and hospitable. I would stay there again if I'm in the area.

Sites Too close together, store prices were 2x’s what we paid at other KOAs, pool too small, loud music being played and dogs roaming. Not an enjoyable experience.

Not big rig friendly, no 50 amp hookups, low hanging branches. Otherwise it was a nice campground, friendly staff. NOTE: HWY 178 is a very windy, narrow, steep road. Posted Not recommended for lengths longer than 30 feet king pin to rear axle.

Sierra & Stephanie both amazing, ice cream and pancakes yum. My boyfriend used the bathroom & the door handle was broke. We informed Craig (who we found out is the owner) & he was rude and insulting. he should have “thank you we will take a look at it.” It left us feeing gross so we cancelled the trip we had JUST booked for July. because of Craig its 50/50 if we return anytime soon.

Great little campground. My only complaint is the lack of amenities inside the cabins. No fridge or TV like most other KOA’s have.

The staff was very friendly! Appreciated the ice cream Treat! The meadow is pretty! However the stickers and dirt was off putting! Some grass or flowers bushes would have been more pleasing!

Great staff and amenities, campground is clean and well maintained, the only negative were the flies that kept swarming us. No other areas that we explored had this problem.

Overall this KOA is well below any standards, this is the worst KOA that I’ve stayed at, very run down, lack of maintenance and staff was always rude, if you ask any questions!

7 of us rented a cabin. Found that only 6 is allowed in cabins, so we rented an additional one. Cabins were rather well equipped, even though no linens. Was surprised each had AC. REALLY quiet! Loved the interaction from behind the counter. Those two ladies were GREAT! Overall....the entire group loved the trip. Really relaxing.

I haven't tried the rooms but used the RV space. The campsite is clean enough and the camp hosts are very helpful and thoughtful. They put on different entertainment events for the kids (like rock painting and an ice cream social) and the adults alike. There's plenty of shade but also plenty of mosquitos.

We went here while they were doing some renovations, but it did not detract at all! We brought a camper and were easily able to locate and park. The staff were amazing and so helpful checking us in too. The campsite is well shaded and has lots of amenities. They had a camp store, pub, a pool( which we got a lot of use out of), a ghost town themed playground with swings, camp kitchen(with a microwave), games(like horseshoe and giant tetris) plus a sluice. We bought two giant bags of rocks and had so much fun. They also have planned activities during the weekend like icecream social, pancake breakfast, popcorn, and rock painting. The only downside is mosquitos so be sure to bring bug spray and citronella.
