A beautifully cared for, rustic KOA. Pride of ownership shines throughout. We only stayed overnight on our way through the area, and will definitely come back.

The campground is in disrepair and needs updating. The showers were filthy. The pub was not open. We reserved a FHU but the space had no shade and it was 90+ degrees so when Kimberly checked us in she moved us to a partial hookup in the shade & told us we could dump our tanks before departing. This AM the camp Mgr was incredibly rude and yelled at us when we used the rv sewer hookup.

Very friendly staff. Very willing to work with us even tho we showed up a day early because of a scheduling mistake on our part. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Pool looked very nice

I come to Lake Isabella koa to visit my dad who lives in weldon. But this visit the staff, especially Kimberly, went above & beyond to make us feel welcome

location has very nice view. The place is well kept. The only thing is the road is all dirt, and my dogs got all dusty. We only stayed overnight because our ac did not work right. They were really nice about giving me the refund. I will go back and stay at this location. If it was not for the ac, we would have stayed. We will need to tow a vehicle, so we could explore more of tue area.

We met Mona at check-in and immediately knew we booked at a great destination. Mona and her staff made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay! And the pool was a perfect way to finish a good day out exploring the lake and river. We will definitely be back!

The only true description is the site was shady! Nasty dirt pit grounds and litter all over. Bathroom and showers were nasty with overflowing garbage and black moldy walls and floor. Laundry room stunk with piles of laundry bags in corner. Alot of rough looking vehicles and junk everywhere. I feel I've been totally ripped off at $65 for the night staying locked in my van! Not impressed with koa!

Ramona and her staff were great hosts. The pool and bathrooms and the rest of the grounds were clean and well kept. We will definitely be back!

The staff were all great people. They gave us great directions to the sites we wanted to visit. The facilities could use a little love. Beyond the bird poop on the picnic table when we arrived, that we had to wash off before using the table, it could use a fresh coat of paint. The electric box had the on/off switch broken off making us press very hard to get it turned on.

The AC 120 did not work in 3 differents sites. The bathrooms was dirty The laundry it was a mess, dirty and a lot of things Terrible experience

we love staying here. It was our third time. Romona was absolutely pleasant! Charming and very accommodating. If there is anything negative I could say is the campgrounds need some sprucing up. New paint and repairs to the buildings and cleaning of picnic tables. But, this will not deter me from staying here. Just an observation that I think needs to be addressed by the owners.

Everything was rundown, felt tawdry, unlike other KOAs. Signage had rude, unfriendly tone. Supposed to have WiFi—didn’t. Many of the facilities/activities were not as listed. Had overall lifeless quality. Perimeter fences broken. So,so buggy…. Definitely could use a facelift!!

The staff went out of their way to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. A great bunch of folks in one of the most beautiful places. I will definitely be back! Extra special thanks to Kimberly, one of the nicest people in all of California.

The KOA is peaceful and beautiful. The staff was friendly. A lot of the amenities were not running. The playground needs some work. The play structure pictured was missing. They are working on making some renovation. The pump track was great for our kids, the pool was open early due to heat. It does look like they are trying to upkeep it. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed 3 nights. Friendly staff, major improvements to bathrooms since our last stay. Been here 4 times and it seems to get better every time

We stayed forbthe isabella fishing derby the past couple years and its continued to improve. Very happy with the kid friendly improvements like the bike track and gemstone mining.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Sites are close together. Women's bathroom was being renovated, but it was useable and seems close to being done. It will be nice when completed. Men's bathroom is done. Flies are around mostly close to sunset--annoying, but they don't bite. Be aware that this campground is not on the lake.

It was quiet and office staff AND housekeeping woman were beyond nice!! They're remodeling the women's restroom but got a peek of the men's and it's beautiful!

Management and staff were awesome, very accommodating. The site was clean, grounds team always out there working hard for you. The site is upgrading some areas. Also, bathrooms were well maintained and hot shower was hot, at 37 degrees it was much appreciated. Thank you and see you soon, Art and Paulette Medina

I have stayed at this campground on three different occasions now, and each stay was really great. The grounds and facilities are always well taken care of, and the staff have been terrific- very nice, helpful, accomodating and friendly. Especially Kimberly. There was major construction for a new well going on that the location. The men’s restroom was closed for upgrades. Had to use the women’s restroom for showering as my wife stood guard out front. I understand upgrades needed, but it would have been nice to know about this before booking and we would have chosen to stay elsewhere.

I haven't tried the rooms but used the RV space. The campsite is clean enough and the camp hosts are very helpful and thoughtful. They put on different entertainment events for the kids (like rock painting and an ice cream social) and the adults alike. There's plenty of shade but also plenty of mosquitos.

We went here while they were doing some renovations, but it did not detract at all! We brought a camper and were easily able to locate and park. The staff were amazing and so helpful checking us in too. The campsite is well shaded and has lots of amenities. They had a camp store, pub, a pool( which we got a lot of use out of), a ghost town themed playground with swings, camp kitchen(with a microwave), games(like horseshoe and giant tetris) plus a sluice. We bought two giant bags of rocks and had so much fun. They also have planned activities during the weekend like icecream social, pancake breakfast, popcorn, and rock painting. The only downside is mosquitos so be sure to bring bug spray and citronella.
