We LOVED this KOA! It’s so close to where we live and was an easy pull to beautiful and friendly location. The staff was super helpful and the mobile black/gray water tank emptying service was a great surprise (we had a lakeside spot). We’ve already booked for 4th of July 2025, but will be back before then!

Great location and lots of things for kids to do. Amenities are plentiful. our lakeside campsite was not very level but nice view. My only real complaint is about the lack of cleanliness. I'm not impressed with the bath house near the pool. It needs upgrade and simple cleaning. Our campsite on the water needed some litter pickup. Too much litter and many cigarette butts around the fire pit.

This was one of the most beautiful KOA campgrounds we have stayed in and we have stayed in many over the past 15 years all over the country. Staff was very good too.

My only issue was we rented a pontoon and it was our first time on the lake. Not knowing our way around we got stuck a couple times in shallow water. We were informed when we returned that we should have watched the video. We didn’t k ow how to get out to the main lake. Once we did we watched other boats and figured out how to get back in.

Really beautiful KOA… lot’s of space between campsites and the lake views were fantastic. Additionally they have fantastic chairs, tables and firepits… You won’t be disappointed!

The office closes at 7, but terrible signage and poor instructions if arriving after 7. We accidentally found the right person. The staff were very nice and helpful, but our impression of the property had already been set. The bathrooms had no countertop, so if you brought facial conditioners, toothbrush, etc., there was no where to set them down. Build a cabinet top. Old, needs updating.

Our lake view campsite was very nice. We were disappointed with the conditions in the bathrooms which were not very clean. As is becoming common in campgrounds, the golf cart traffic was annoying.

Site was beautiful. We were there with a group and some had the duplexes next to site 59 & 60. Duplexes were not really clean and needed quite a bit of cleaning pointed out. Shouldn’t need to say bugs need to be cleaned out of light fixtures and windows. Staff were great sites perfect, just the lodging .

Pros, beautiful campground, nice sites somewhat level considering the location, clean bath house, great views. Cons, severely unattended, staff is a bunch of kids who take no responsibility so the older staff has to fill in the gaps. Many things need ATTENTION , the deck at 59 is completely rotted away no beams, brothers cabin was filthy and floor was giving way. Laundry machines are terrible.

The doggie park was very unsecure for our little dogs. The fence and the gate needs fixing. Also, they tried to put us in a camp way in the backwoods and we came to be on the lake. They were very polite, but it cost me another 50 bucks. I would appreciate being able to reserve a spot ahead of time knowing where we are going to be to KOA across the country

Booked a boat and reservation said 9:00. Marina did not open til 11. The after hours number said he did not know what to tell me. He did not know anything about the marina. It took 3 days to respond to an e mail. I got a text about arrival after we arrived around 3:00. Was told by employees numerous times that they were done for the season. Beautiful campground just not friendly

We had a wonderful 9 days of camping and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and helpful answered all our questions with this being our 1st KOA visit. Kids enjoyed the many activities available. The view we had overlooking the lake and the sunset every night was beautiful. The only thing i would suggest is maybe listing on reservation sites if it is level or not and the size of the lot. But

Amazing location and views! We will definitely be back just for the views. The only we had was the staff being confusion on how to give usour safety deposit back for the golf cart rental. If I wasn’t persistent, I think I would have lost my deposit.

We were seasonal (May - Sept) two summers in a row. Loved the spot we had, the things for our grandkids to do, the marina & slip for our pontoon. Would be booking next summer if we weren’t going to travel instead. Definitely would recommend- we did and our friends stayed the summer next to us.

Love KOA’s. Clean sites. They even came & emptied our gray & black water automatically since we were not on a full hook-up Site. Personal were warm and accommodating. Will be back

Overall, the campground and views were great. The gentleman that took us to our site and brought us our firewood was excellent. However, the staff in the marina shop acted as if there were not multiple customers in the shop and when we went up to check out, felt ignored while they continued their conversation. Also, the firewood was wet and would not stay lit after several attempts.

One of the nicer KOA’s I have stayed out. The crew there were very friendly. Lovely location on the lake. We will be back.

Despite telling the front desk about the concern we were forced to take ice cold showers in the women's bathroom at the bath house for the duration of our stay. We have come to visit this campground every year for the past 3 years - we are so disappointed in the declining condition of this campground and the poor customer service.

They have reduced amenities for the "off season" but the costs are not adjusted accordingly. Example: we rented a boat. Off season hours are reduced on the rental as the staff comes to work at 11 am, but we still had to pay for a full day. The full service restaurant was only serving pizza. Etc.

Campsites were great. Not crowded in early October. Fishing was good. They told us that the pool was heated. It was not. Water temp in the pool was probably in the low 70s. Had a lot of bugs in it also like it wasn’t getting cared for like in the summer.

Very nice facility loved being right on the lake and having a marina on site we did have a problem in the middle the night with power and being unable to phone in and speak to someone before 11 am seemed problematic. however my husband went down to the office area and was able to speak with someone and they came up right away and resolved the problem within the hour. We plan to come back next year

The most dysfunctional koa I have stayed at in 7 years. Welcome center had a postage stamp size yellow koa sign out front. Welcome center was locked (3 pm) with a sign on door saying go to marina to check in. No directions to marina. Then next day marina office was locked. No sign about hours. Drove to welcome center at entrance. It was open. This place is a marina with koa as a sideline.

Prizer Lakes if a very large KOA directly on Prizer Point. The staff are very friendly and there are a number of activitiess. We stayed in one of the lakes side sites on Kentucky Avenue directly on the lake. If you are a big rig I would recommend getting a site with a concrete pad. Many of the gravel sites are not level enough for a 41 foot rig like ours.

Beautiful campground and area. Wish we had more time..Patti did an outstanding job of relocating us as our rig wouldn’t fit. Nico was alone in the office on Sat and we rented a golf cart….he was multitasking the whole time. Great bunch

Stayed for the weekend they have basketball chest a game room two pools water activities that you can do can even rent boats Kevin's have a Mexican restaurant and store have vans on Saturday night and activities for the kids sometimes on Sunday. Fun for all
