Absolutely wonderful stay. This was our first time staying at any KOA. Staff went above and beyond to make our experience great. Highly recommend.

We were very grateful the camoground was still open in October. Totally shocked the pool was not closed up for winter too, really enjoyed the warm heated pool in October! Great clean campground, many playground areas as well. Shower building a little cold in early mornings, but water was plenty hot. Can't wait to stay here again, hopefully still open in October in 2027.

Campground was peaceful and quiet during our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. One negative was that the showers were shut off or inoperable.

Excellent people and campground. However, your reservation cancelation policy is preventing us from using your services as we travel the country. We have never cancelled without at least a three day notice, but your policies do not work for someone traveling from point to point.

Met our needs for the arts/craft show in Stone Lake. Will probably use the KOA-Hayward next year.

Please clean back bathrooms on weekends. Dog park way too small for number of sites. Convenient location.

When I called to make a reservation, the person said they could not look up my reward points. When I checked in they said they could not apply the reward points because we had already paid. I am confused as to when reward points can be applied. The showers at this campground were dirty.

Very Nice, very good facilities, seasonally open activities; firewood available for purchase. Available garbage and recyclable bines, helpful desk personnel. My only recommendation would be for the garbage cans in the bathroom to also be washed occasionally, were dirty.

I have a pop up tent camper and so I am able to hear just about everything outside. The road behind the campgrounds off the highway was well travelled and the UTVs were very very loud. I did not get much sleep and would not recommend this campgrounds to anyone

The staff at the Hayward KOA were very helpful. I had car trouble and they worked with me to try to get the vehicle started. I appreciated the time and effort they made to get me back on the road!

What a wonderful campground! We've stayed at Hayward KOA for the Cheq 40 weekend for decades. Our older son and family joined us this year. Our son came down with a virus. They left early, but not before the grandsons, 6 and 8 were able to enjoy panning for rocks, crafts, and the movie. Those things kept the boys busy and let dad have some rest! 10 stars for the warm swimming pool!

The property is clean and well maintained. There appeared to be plenty of options for families to stay occupied. My one issue was lack of Internet availability. The property does offer a very small complementary amount, which may be a positive for some, but I was forced to purchase an additional package to utilize what I needed.

Nice and relaxing as always. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Even though its late in the season, there was still plenty of activities to do.

We enjoyed our stay in primitive Hayward with plenty of hiking trails. I advise grading the dog park to fill the huge holes, a light at night would be helpful to pickup poop and maybe a streetlight at the end of the roads to find your way back to your site.

The campground was nice. The staff was friendly but the half the washing machines were out of order and the few that worked could used replacing or just a really good cleaning!

Nice, beautiful place to stay. only thing I would say is it's pricey. There were about 4 RV's in the place and you would have thought it was the 4th of July.

Staff is friendly but they don’t provide same level of service such as when you arrive taking you to your campsite, they just hand you a map. The campsite was buried in pine needles table chair and patio yet the other patio sites were clear just not ours. I made a mistake when I book and did not put Thursday down I tried to call no answer so I did another booking paid a $20 again to get same sit

Friendly staff with many amenities, the facilities were clean and well taken care of. There is also a lot of things to do close by in Hayward. Will definitely stay here again.

Was booked for a week and only stayed 1 night. Sites are cramped and couldn’t even get our awning out because trees are so close and sites are not very long. Sites are nothing but dirt and a tiny bit of gravel. Most KOA are nice but not this one.

We came just after the Labor Day rush. It was quiet and spacious under the tall pine trees. We had corner camper sites which we enjoyed. The playground for the grandkids was great. Campfire wood bundle should be $5 instead of $8 for the small size.

This is always one of my favorite KOA campgrounds. The staff really wants everyone to have fun and provide lots of activities to do so. The place is always a bustle of happy people.

We absolutely love the KOA but did not like the change in schedule this year. 2 nights of trick or treating is too much. Otherwise the staff are friendly and the bathrooms are clean.

We love this KOA!! There is so much for kids to do, the atmosphere is great, people are friendly and the staff is awesome! We always look forward to staying here.

Our family absolutely loves the Hayward KOA! The staff are wonderful and the activities are always so fun! It was disappointing to see the arcade was no longer available, we hope it can be repaired. We also were surprised how little food was available compared to previous years. We often eat many meals from the restaurant, so this was challenging to adjust to. We can't wait for our next KOA trip

The trees need to be trimmed so not to hit camper roofs, the roads were too dusty, pool was too hot, no tye dying activity . Movie was great!

Haad reservation 7months in advance,put me in a spot too small could not get slideout,awning hit a tree. Went to office said they had a spot water an electric( had full hookups) for same price,an when tank got full ,honey wagon could come by for a fee ,NOT HELPFUL AT ALL! Worst koa we have ever stayed at.

Had such a positive experience here a week ago when we were on our way to our vacation, we intentionally routed our way home to stay here again. Excellent people in the store, very knowledgeable and helpful.

Fantastic KOA! Great activities for kids and the whole family. Sites are always clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are also well-kept. Friendly, helpful staff.

Sites are a little narrow, you feel like you are camping on top of your neighbors. The KOA it self is nice place. The facilities are fairly well kept but are showing their age. The staff were very nice and helpful and Michelle and her family were a bright spot. Hope the KOA knows what they lucked into those folks.
