Noticed deteriation of the property. Water slide did not operate. Mini golf is getting old, update needed. Bathroom were closer at the clubhouse.

Met family friends from Ladysmith and it was the perfect spot. Very impressed with how the staff wanted to help us out. Clean sites too. Just a little dusty when cars drove by.

Fun time with family; thought there would be more themed activity during the week/ cafe was closed a lot…. Bathroom near waterslide was not comfortable; 1 shower and changing stall was not convenient; kids enjoyed pool and amenities…

We have been coming to this KOA for many years. Early check in fee of $20 bucks if you arrive 38 minutes early or 2 minutes early! Activities for the kids were lacking. Outhouses set up as one bathhouse was shut down for repair. Pool not opened on time. Up keep and repairs lacking. No changes have been made for some time. Unfriendly staff. Water slide down one day during our stay. Flowers great!!

The site we had was extremely small and the ground had lots of roots sticking up that were trip hazards. The water facet was leaking. I did not discuss with the office as they told me that this would be the nicest park that I had ever stayed in. I was very disappointed.

I come here a few times each summer. I have had amazing experiences. The weather a few times has been another story but they have always been willing to work with me or help me. I already booked my next stay this summer, but will probably stay another time in between.

Since the new owners took over the grounds haven't been that kept up. Tall grass areas that could be at least weep whipped. The cabin where my in-laws stayed was definitely not worth what they paid for their stay. I don't know how many times we passed or came in contact with the new owners, and not one time did they even make eye contact or say anything. Not impressed with them.

Loved our campsite (161)! The activities are a family friendly type of fun. The staff is very polite and helpful. They do a great job of trying to keep the bathrooms clean. We will be coming back next year for our third year in a row!

Very nice. We were there on July 4 and had issues with 50 amp. They were nice enough to find us another site even tho they had a full house. Workers were great and friendly. Will come back.

This was my 4th location KOA visit and my least favourite. I found the grounds to be dirty, garbage bins over flowing, pool was cloudy with cigarette butts. I was drawn to this location for the water slide which was great and the kids did enjoy their time.

We stayed for the 4th of July weekend and we were disappointed that there wasn't really any 4th of July activities. How easy it would be to do a craft activity with the kids bikes and do a bike parade around the campground. Also it was a busy/hot weekend, but the pool opened later than what was posted on the sign. All and all we have been to other KOA's and felt like this one was lacking.

Staff is awesome very friendly. Downside to this KOA is space our spot was super tight. We couldn’t have our slide and awning both open also with the tail of our TR almost sticking into the road not enough room to park our vehicle without it sticking into the road. Step out of your camper 2 steps and you’re at the next site. Wish I could have liked it better because Hayward is awesome.

My kids had a fantastic time and would love to stay again! I personally didn’t like the “gravel” pads for trailers as it was mostly sand with a few rocks in it. Just too messy for me!

That place is a Zoo. Way too close to other campers, no place for trucks to park. Sites are not as long as advertised.

1st time visitors to the Hayward KOA we were very impressed with all the amenities, staff, cleanliness, and operation. Wish we had our grandkids with us. This is the nicest RV camp we have been to.

Very cramped. People parked boats, side by sides everywhere blocking road. I had to back out of my pull through stie due to blocked roads. Sites not well maintained. Septic backed up and overflowed at dump station.

Did the tube float down the river, we were able to ride our bikes into town, lots of areas to walk. Very enjoyable

Park is much as it has been over the years but park feels like it has a little less luster than it used to.. Roads could use a good grade lots of pot holes and the price for a tiny scoop of ice cream.. yikes.. overall the KOA you come to expect.. good family campground..

We had a great weekend despite the rainy weather. It was kid’s first time camping. They loved it and can’t wait to go again! My only criticism is the non paved roads. A good amount of rain makes it a muddy mess all around the grounds. Otherwise, the weekend brought back many memories I had as a kid camping in KOA’s.

We stayed just a couple of nights to visit with family in area so it served our needs. Our site had view of highway and a bit tight for our camper. Fire pit in poor location. Amenities seemed a bit pricey. "Dog park" very small but clean. Staff friendly and attentive.

We love how family friendly the campground is.There is so much for everyone to do.Swimming, arts ,crafts, jumping pillow, arcade, tubing, giant slide and the playground.Plus the ice cream shop and the office.The different activities each weekend are awesome. 3 downsides.There is a upcharge after 4 people we are a family of 6-7.Dance party music had lots of swear words.Pay in full now for next year

You get nickel and dime for just about everything, including a mini putt putt course that is old and decrepit and a slide you have to pay the ride on, and Wi-Fi that is sketchy at best even though you pay extra for that. The playground is nice and the kids really love that along with the tetherball. The Hayward KOA website that the pool would be warm and bowl, but it was very cold.

This was our first KOA visit and we were truly impressed with the experience. Every member of the staff was amazing and extremely helpful when we had questions. Brian was one that truly stood out by taking time away from what he was doing to show us activities and answering some questions about the local area. Grounds were kept extremely clean and activities were great for all ages. Great Job!

Check in was fabulous, cabin already had the a/c on, it was super hot outside, unpacked and then sat on the porch swing... it had an enormous creek, I love a porch swing. Asked the office to send some WD40, and noone came either of my 2 day stay so i wentvto walmart and bought my own and fixd it myself. Pool area was amazing, there were lots of other activities for all ages. Bathrooms were midern and clean! Would definitely return some day.

We enjoyed our time at the KOA. The campground was very quiet, although we were on the back row and not near a lot of the activities. The bathrooms were pretty clean. The showers were hot and had good water pressure. We did rent tubes, they took us to the beginning and picked us up at the end. Being a holiday weekend it was an overall nice stay.

This is one of our favorite KOA's. They are in the works to do some upgrades with plans to put in a splash pad. You can go tubing down the river (highly recommend). There is a pool, which does tend to get a little over packed. On site pizza and ice cream which is yummy. Always clean & family friendly. Lots to do on the area.
