As full-time RVers for almost 4 years we have stayed at 200 different places in 49 states and 4 Canadian provinces. We have never stayed anywhere with a staff that was more friendly and helpful. Glenda in particular was such a joy. It was only a one night stay but it made an impression on us. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay. We brought our two year old on the wagon ride and he got sprayed right in the face 5/6 times from Sasquatch. Previous wagon rides they only used the squirt guns once or twice and it was fine. I thought this was a little much for small kids. My little guy was very very upset.

Campground is “tired” and needs a good update. No TV signal for those that like to watch tv at night. Internet is slow so no streaming but you can pay for faster signal. On-site restaurant was great and reasonably priced! Shame to pay a high nightly rate then have to pay extra for everything but the pool usage. Staff were all wonderful people to talk to. Probably would stay again.

We've been camping at Hayward KOA since 2010 and it never disappoints. We just love this place!!! Close to mountain bike and hiking trails. Also not that far from Hayward which is our favorite town!!!

Staff was very friendly and funny, plenty of things to do when not raining. The waterslide was amazingly fast. The main bathrooms were shutdown all weekend so I had to drop a star but overall it was a great stay.

We love KOA Hayward and have spent a lot of time here. A few things needed more attention, the pool was full of sand on the shallow end, we were told the robot cleaner has been skipping the shallow end, the pool itself could use a good cleaning around the top too. I noticed a lot of cost cutting things that are trying but the prices to camp are some of the highest we've found with the same ameniti

Dog barking constantly. Drone following us as we walked in camp. Spots to park camper very close and tight. Couldn't put awning out. Very little grass.

This was our first time at this KOA. It had a lot to offer with the waterslide, mini golf, pool and tubing on river. We did it all! However, we felt there could be some updating and maintenance to areas. Repair and painting etc. We STRONGLY recommend better signage for tubing landing at the end of the float trip!

Really liked how they stager the RVs so that they are facing opposite of each one so you don’t have the fire pits or picnic tables/people directly outside of your windows. The laundry facilities need an extreme makeover. Not very clean. Washing machines look worn out and several not working. The dryers were the worst! They had to be over 20 years old. Again several not even working!

I like how quiet the evenings are. This is our 4th year going to this KOA. We love all the activities and pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only recommendation I would make is the picnic tables need to be refinished. When it rained, it finally dried out on the 3rd day.

Campground is kept clean. Bathrooms are cleaned several times a day. Clean showers with hot water! Kids were having a great time at pool and bouncy pad. Staff was helpful and courteous. I’ll stay there again.

We loved our stay again this summer! The patio sites are wonderful! …the pool was freezing though. On the wishlist would be a ph # to order delivery from the Red Pine.

Very nice, but so cramped and crowded. Great amenities, but I would give that up for a little more space at the campsites. We are literally on top of each other.

Our site was so small, we couldn't put our awning out. If we chose to sit out, we would eat dirt as cars passed because our firepit and space was inches from road. Bathrooms need to be imploded and the portable toilets is an unacceptable to having the bathrooms fixed. The pool was not heated and dirty as well. As a vip member, I recommend this place lose the koa brand.

Had a great time plenty of activities for the kids,we did the tubing down the river and that was great The bathroom and showers are old and could use a little update one of the bathrooms wasn't working while we were there they did have port johns but not very nice in the hot weather, the firewood was wet and hard to burn we had the same thing last year. a great campground for kids. Our campsite (10) was not the best - we were right the activity. Our campsite (10) was right by the pool, the dump station, and the porta johns for the pool. It was loud and smelly. Those spots along that row should be rented last (there were plenty of other empty campsites with sewer hook ups). The empty site next to us was also used as a cut-thru by everyone.

We’ve never had a bad experience there but the facilities need an upgrade. We tried to book site 401, they said we could not get it , no one was in that site the whole time we were there ! Kind of disappointed.

Staff was pleasant, campground was clean. Spots were too small and if you don’t have kids, it’s way too loud, especially if your campsite is across from the volleyball/horseshoe pit.

Very disappointed we were not informed before our stay that half the bathrooms were closed. With small children , porta potties are inconvenient, and messy. The other bathroom is in need of updating and is a walk from the tenting area.

From check-in to check-out I was over the top thrilled with my stay. Not a detail was missed at this campground! The staff were warm, inviting, and over the top helpful. All the staff gave the appearance of loving their jobs. The grounds and amenities were cleaned several times throughout the day. I had my 4year old granddaughter with on our maiden voyage and she loved it! Thank you everyone!

Charged an extra 20$ for 4 kids when I already said I had two. So why 20$ should have been 10$ This place is TOO packed, it was a miserable time. There was so many campers for a very small area we stayed Friday night and left Saturday at noon.

We stayed at the campground this past weekend and overall had a great time. The check-in process was a bit chaotic, with long lines and some confusion — definitely an area that could be streamlined for a better first impression. If there is one complaint (and only one), it would be to remind people to not walk through other people's sites. Maybe a reminder that there is walkways between roads. :) All the staff are amazing! We enjoy coming here every summer with the grandkids. It's the Taj Mahal of camping!

Great campsite with plenty of shade. We had a wonderful time. Wish everything was included in the stay. Seems a little nickel and dime you to death but overall good. The girl who ran bingo was the only problem we had. She was very cranky.

Have stayed here a few times and it’s starting to get pretty run down. Went to office to ask if it was ok to park a second vehicle in the parking lot up front as sites are very small. For some reason I proceeded to get a lecture how if I parked a second vehicle on my site It was guaranteed I would start a fight and that everybody thinks there entitled.

The campground itself was nice, the spots were extremely tight, especially for a 5th wheel with slide on both sides. The campground was far from full, so it seemed odd that they put us right next to another camper, when they had several of the same type available. They did the same to campers the next row over as well. When the spots are SO tight, give people more space when you have the option.

Check in was fabulous, cabin already had the a/c on, it was super hot outside, unpacked and then sat on the porch swing... it had an enormous creek, I love a porch swing. Asked the office to send some WD40, and noone came either of my 2 day stay so i wentvto walmart and bought my own and fixd it myself. Pool area was amazing, there were lots of other activities for all ages. Bathrooms were midern and clean! Would definitely return some day.

We enjoyed our time at the KOA. The campground was very quiet, although we were on the back row and not near a lot of the activities. The bathrooms were pretty clean. The showers were hot and had good water pressure. We did rent tubes, they took us to the beginning and picked us up at the end. Being a holiday weekend it was an overall nice stay.

This is one of our favorite KOA's. They are in the works to do some upgrades with plans to put in a splash pad. You can go tubing down the river (highly recommend). There is a pool, which does tend to get a little over packed. On site pizza and ice cream which is yummy. Always clean & family friendly. Lots to do on the area.
