We enjoyed the stay. The staff was outstanding. The cost per night seems a little on the high side. $80 a night is getting too expensive.

A very nice place to stay. Activities for the children are absolutely wonderful. We had a pull thru site. Sites are close together, but they did space campers out. Would stay again when we return to WI.

We had a couple days with rain, but most of it soaked in right away so it was good. No puddles in campsites. People working there were very pleasant and friendly. The atving outside the park was great with no dust

Very clean. Friendly staff. Sites are a bit too close. A few too many trees causing challenges when it comes too moving trailers in and out. The mats in the showers are very hard and painful on the feet

There were a lot of activities to keep kids and families busy, which was great! The one thing that impacted my experience was the amount of people that walked through our campsite. After the 5th person walked through on the first day, we gave up on asking people to stop walking through. We had dozens cut through (kids and adults). I haven't experienced that before at other campgrounds.

There are a lot of activities for the kids which allowed them to have a great time. They loved the playground, pool, and mini golf. They also loved the activities and crafts held in the pavilion. The tractor ride and night time movies are great too. It would be nice if the mini golf and large tube slide were included for the money. The bathrooms and showers are relatively old and worn out.

Nice campground and hard working people who had to constantly clean the bathrooms due to the number of people there. The 4-wheelers were noisy and not what we would have expected in a KOA campground. They weren’t too bad.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Facilities for kids are many. Landscaping with flowers is lovely. Our issue with KOA’s everywhere is simply the tiny spaces for RV’s. It always feel very cramped and at Hayward it is no different. That said, we are always grateful for a campground with full hookups and use KOA’s most often for one-night in-transit stops to either state or county park

One night business trip. No issues. Internet was down during my visit, but I was able to use my own Hot Spot. Pull-thru sites near cabins are too close for my comfort. I won’t be using those again. But I only needed basic electric. So I’ll have to pay more for the privacy. Which doesn’t seem fair. But I’m just the customer.

The rv sites are jam packed together with absolutely no privacy. The picnic tables in our area are an embarrassment to the campground. The stain is peeling off so much that one cannot sit on the bench nor attempt to eat off the table. The paint on the boards of the water slide is also in need of repair.

Wifi didn't work all weekend, which is not a big deal. When we went to reserve for next year we found we had to pay an extra $20 to lock in the sites we wanted. We have been reserving the same sites for 20 years without having to "lock it in".

Staff was great but we are extremely disappointed in the additional $20.00 fee to lock in our site. Its absolutely ridiculous. The reason for reserving a year in advance is exactly that, to hold that site for our stay. KOAs already charge plenty for the stay & charge for every activity on top of it. There is no reason to keep robbing customers of more money. Thank you for making it harder on us.

We have been coming here to stay for over 20 years. I have to say the value just isn’t there anymore. The cost of a basic site with electrical and water is too high in my opinion. With little to no improvements over the years I wonder where the money goes. The staff however are fabulous. Always welcoming and working hard to make the stay enjoyable.

The place was clean, but unlike most KOAs, at this one has the campsites were stacked too close to each other. We camp to be outdoors, not in a parking lot.

I've stayed there multiple times. It's very kid friendly and I will certainly be back. I would like to see showers a little bit further away from the center of the campground. I always stay in one of the back sites for a quieter time, but it's a long walk for myself and family to use the shower or bathroom.

Free WiFi was very slow, then went out completely for a couple of days. 30 amp breaker at site 100 went on and off during the night, then was off completely in the morning. I switched over to 50 amps for power and reported it to the office.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The week after the memorial day weekend left the grounds to us, one other rv and a tent camper. Facilities are clean and well maintained.

We really enjoy staying at the KOA because there is lots to do there. If you’re bored it’s your own fault. The workers were really nice to me when I was in signing in and also booking for next year

Used to love attending the koa every year. We have been coming for 10+ years. But I believe next year will be the final straw. The prices have increased to 100 bucks a night which is crazy. And the fact I have to pay to reserve the same sight I have been in for many years is also crazy. Price increases with no increase in actives or updates to the park. Sad to say this park is going down hill.

I like the Hayward KOA, enjoy the area, lots of things for the kids. Nice bike trails. Friendly staff. I am not happy that a save your space charge is being added. I have been coming to this location for at least 20 years and there wasn't a charge. Prices have been increasing way more than inflation. Makes it harder to make the decision to come back.

Check in was fabulous, cabin already had the a/c on, it was super hot outside, unpacked and then sat on the porch swing... it had an enormous creek, I love a porch swing. Asked the office to send some WD40, and noone came either of my 2 day stay so i wentvto walmart and bought my own and fixd it myself. Pool area was amazing, there were lots of other activities for all ages. Bathrooms were midern and clean! Would definitely return some day.

We enjoyed our time at the KOA. The campground was very quiet, although we were on the back row and not near a lot of the activities. The bathrooms were pretty clean. The showers were hot and had good water pressure. We did rent tubes, they took us to the beginning and picked us up at the end. Being a holiday weekend it was an overall nice stay.

This is one of our favorite KOA's. They are in the works to do some upgrades with plans to put in a splash pad. You can go tubing down the river (highly recommend). There is a pool, which does tend to get a little over packed. On site pizza and ice cream which is yummy. Always clean & family friendly. Lots to do on the area.
